GGuest UserThis is a value for money hotel in the gateway city of the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff. Not only the Grand Canyon, but also close to the surrounding Meteo Crater, Petrifade National Park, and Sedona, and close to the main roads I-17 and I-40, which was convenient. Highly recommended as a family trip.
NNavigate18310367042An average motel room (exterior corridor, walk up) on the smallish side. Bathroom also small with little counter space. Clean, minor scuffs and dings. Good water pressure, toiletries include shampoo conditioner lotion and Kleenex. Good towels, okay linens, beds a little soft. No pants hangers, 6 for shirts. A/C and internet work fine. No breakfast, Keurig in room coffee (two capsules of regular, one decaf, one tea). Microwave and nice refrigerator with freezer compartment. Smaller flat screen TV with HBO and local channels. Outlets okay. Limited check-in hours. Not at all sure why this lodging is so highly rated. It's a bare notch above a Motel 6 and other low end chains due to the coffee maker and better toiletries.
WE jur spent 2 nights at Budget in and it was great Clan , quiet and very reasonable. I cleand rooms for years as a tean and as an adult so am very picky Will stay there again and recommend it to others Notreal fancy and but clean
SStevenSmall hotel very friendly. Every staff member say good morning or good afternoon waved at you if you saw you in the parking lot breakfast was thin no hot only muffins toasting waffles 930 means 930. Don’t be there at 9:31 when you won’t get anything. Not a bad stay, but it’s not the Hilton just remember it’s nice and clean. The bed was already wrapped and comfortable.
It's one of those motels on a main street that looks like it's used by truckers. Driving from Page AZ we just needed an inexpensive place to sleep close enough to The Grand Canyon to make it for sunrise without having to wake up at 2am. Our room was actually pretty decent. Room was very large and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Love the sink outside the bathroom. Makes it easy for 2 people to get ready. We checked in pretty late. After 10pm. Front desk was person was pleasant. BUT......the trains passing! Sounds like they pass just outside the door. Constantly. All night long. It was very tough sleeping with the noise. I even darkened the tv screen so I could leave it on a channel all night so as to try to distract from the constant trains passing. The tv on all night along with the heater fan going didn't help much with the train noise. If you are a light sleeper, stay elsewhere. If you dont mind freight trains passing all night, if you sleep soundly, and want an inexpensive clean place to lay your head. Go for it.
GGuest UserNewly renovated, the facilities are new and very clean. Life is convenient, with many restaurants and shops nearby. But the free breakfast provided by the hotel is very poor, with very few types. There is also a small indoor swimming pool.
GGuest UserFeeling good, the room feels very good, it is better in the motel, the price is more affordable, and finally pay more than seven knives, please pay attention to this matter.
GGuest UserThe Comfort suites on Lucky Lane was great. We stayed there in a handicap room and they made it enjoyable. The bathroom had bars around the toilet that made it easy to pull yourself up. The staff was very friendly and the usual breakfast was delicious.
After reading many reviews, it appeared there could either be a disaster or a great stay for great price . I decided to take a chance and was delighted . The owner is very friendly and helpful for local eating advice and the room was beautiful ! It had very warm colors and decor . There was nothing to complain about . It was clean and the bed was very comfortable . Even the view out the door was pretty with the few tall pines . The only downside in my expectations is that I thought we could easily walk to a nearby bar or pub like place but there was a ton of traffic being detoured until late at night . Everything was about a half mile away or more on foot . We had some great pizza next store and had breakfast at a wonderful retro cafe on our way out . I’d go back anytime .
GGuest UserGrowing up in Arizona I have passed by this place numerous times over the decades but had never stayed here before. My wife and I are on post retirement a roadtrip and picked this place because of it's close proximity to the downtown area. First, the place is old and worn and not well kept. The rooms are small and cramped and the furniture is decrepit. The comforter on the bed was old and worn out and had cigarette burn holes in it. My wife had lost something on our trip and called back to the hotel to see if it might have been left behind in the room and found the staff very unhelpful. Distinctly and remarkably so. When she called she was told that they were too busy and that she should call back later. When she did she had to REPEATEDLY tell them when we were there, the room number and what we were looking for. After repeated attempts over several minutes she became disconnected in the call and decided it wasn't worth the effort to try again. The place is a dump. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
