overall it's a veeery beautiful place and the hotel design is also wonderful, everything has been thought out (additional options included in the price for guests are very nice)
but the room cleaning service shouldn't look like this. I was only there for two nights so it wasn't a big problem, but after returning after a whole day of sightseeing I would like at least the bed to be made properly (and not left in the same condition as I did) the same with the rubbish... There was a dirty stain on the entrance to the room/bathroom from the very beginning and we left it hoping that the next day the service would do its job, but it seems to me that the floor is not cleaned at all (which seems strange when it is required to take off shoes... all socks are black). Breakfast for vegetarians is very poor and even an egg is placed between meat... :( + in other hotels the employees helped us with picking up the ordered food without any problems (it's hard to eat something without meat in China), but here it seems to me that it caused a problem (strange because it seems that the Chinese themselves order something all the time) and there was no menu from the ”restaurant” of this hotel as it is written in trip.com or it was not offered to me
so in short I recommend it but the cleanliness should be improved and there should be some place to leave orders

a wonderful hotel tucked away on a lively street. communicating with the host was easy and they were very attentive and caring, helping us when we got lost. the kitties waiting for you at the home stay are wonderful (some more friendly than others, but all love cuddles!). the location is everything. right by the morning and night markets, and sits on a street with many good restaurants and lovely little bars (i’d recommend the umami bar). a spacious room with everything we needed. it was very clean as well. i HIGHLY recommend this place, we will certainly be coming back here :)

The location is a little hard to find, but the hotel sent photos with very clear instructions ahead of time which made it super easy! It is prime Xi’an location, right smack-dab in the middle of the city. Only a short walk from bell tower, 1-2 min walk from the subway and it is literally in the Muslim quarter (to get to the hotel you have to enter the market which is awesome)! I genuinely don’t think there’s a better location. The staff are also incredibly kind and accommodating. They helped me with everything from booking plays/shows to calling last minute 3 AM taxis. Best of all, this hotel provides a 4.5 litre container of water as well as several 550 ml water bottles which you truly start to value and appreciate when you’re exploring and walking around in 30-40° weather. I felt very happy and safe coming home to this hotel every night, and in part it was thanks to the amazing attitude of the staff. Would stay again, and would recommend to friends and family!

Great experience! Our stay was very comfortable. The hosting couple were very helpful and friendly, they never hesitated to use translation apps to help us in any way they could. They even got me a charger adapter, because I forgot to bring one. Before we arrived I added them on WeChat and was welcomed with directions for how to reach the hotel and also received several good restaurant suggestions. The place is in a quiet alley deep in the muslim quarter and it's very cozy. There's lots to see here, the muslim quarter, temples, the bell tower, lots and lots of places to eat different kinds of food, incredible. The subway is also very close, 5 minutes of walking distance. The room we stayed in was very well equipped and was cleaned every day after we left. There's also unlimited Xi'an style orange soda and water in the fridge! All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend staying with them. May you have a long and happy life and may your hotel thrive in the coming years! Thank you for letting us stay with you!

Very clean and cute hotel. Not super closiness to famous sightseeings provides amazing silence for sleeping as in a narrow alley. Suggest to provide rooms with bigger cups for tea besides arts to Ed for tea ceremony)) very helpful receptionist, adds your WeChat and answers questions, I did not have time to experience workshops so can’t say on it.

The hotel left a very good impression on me. The front desk staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the cleaning was thorough. The air conditioning worked perfectly. There was an ample supply of hot water available at any time, which was really nice. The bedding was comfortable, and the mattress was cozy to sleep on. The location is highly convenient for transportation, and it's very close to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and the city wall—all within walking distance! There are many shopping malls and restaurants in the surrounding area, offering everything you might need. It's extremely convenient for dining, shopping, and traveling. Downstairs is a street filled with calligraphy and cultural creative products, where you can spend a long time browsing and buying things you like. It's really great!

We stayed for 3 nights and honestly it was the best homestay we could ask for. It's so difficult for non chinese speaking people to travel in China and the owner helped us out with so much! (Finding restaurants, talking to our tour organizers in Chinese etc)
There was a terrace with tables outside the room we stayed, where it was nice to have food and drinks we got from the supermarket.
The owner was super kind and prepared us with everything we need during the stay. Would definitely stay here again if there's a chance to revisit Xi'an.

Having previously stayed at Simple Palace, we had no qualms about booking this lovely wee courtyard hotel again. The last time we stayed, we noticed that, for one night, there was the bass of dance music until about 1am. Not a major problem. However, very unfortunately, this time the bass music played all night until 6.30 in the morning, every single night. Little sleep was had, despite having earplugs. It's such a shame, as Linda and her staff are so lovely, the hotel is full of character and the location perfect. We feel bad giving this feedback, as it's totally outwith the control of the hotel, but it sadly would stop us staying again.

GGuest UserThe landlord's sister is very nice. We called in advance when we arrived late at night, and told us to turn on the air conditioner in advance when it was cold. The house is very cozy. The house is in a residential area. It was built and decorated by the landlord's sister. It is antique, especially suitable for taking pictures. The display in the house is very careful, and every part of it shows the feeling of home. It is very close to the Huaqing Pool of the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, it is really the best choice in Lintong! Will come again!

YYinHe-112The hostel is located inside area of Tang Paradise City and nearby Dayan Pagoda (it’s next to Four Season hotel) that are both famous attractions so you can walk around easily. It’s also convenient to go to metro for other attractions in the inner Xian city or Didi to Terra-cotta.
The people of the hostel are very nice, friendly and helpful. I cannot speak Chinese but she tried her best to guide us through on NY’s Eve. Thank you for hosting us 🫶🏻🫶🏻
The room is a bit old but still in good conditions, free bottles of mineral water. General is good experience 🫶🏻

Ffluffygos2 of us in this room for 3 is awesome! Very spacious and could easily accommodate 3 adults.
We were there in first week of November. As it was low peak season they upgraded us to this 3 person room. It even has a ladder up to a small “balcony” where one could sit to look out to the decorated rooftops.
Location is really good once you figured out how to navigate. It’s right next to 书院门. There isn’t any Metro station “at the doorstep” but close enough.
Coffee that they serve is also very good.
Only downside I would say is the drainage flow in the shower room. Whenever one showers, the area will be flooded. So will need to give them for the water to drain before the next person goes into the shower.

The transportation is convenient near the subway station and is very convenient for major scenic spots. It is close to Huimin Street. You can get delicious snacks when you go out. GGuest UserI booked a room suddenly, but when I got the hotel it was still clean, fully equipped with necessary tools. The customer service was very good, friendly and quick attitude. The room facilities were very nice, however the air conditioner in the 2 bedroom bed seemed old, and not cold. However, the overall room was 9/10, worth coming back

HHanitaI recently stayed at this apartment and overall had a very positive experience. The room matched exactly as described in the listing, and the location was quite convenient—only a 5-7 minute walk from both the bus and metro stations. Plus, there’s a convenience store right on the ground floor, which made grabbing essentials super easy.
The host was very responsive to our queries and did his best to accommodate us, which was much appreciated. We even ended up extending our stay for an extra night because we were comfortable there.
One thing to note is that the host didn’t mention upfront that a refundable deposit of 200Yuan was required. However, when we checked out, he promptly refunded it after checking the room, which was reassuring.
I was mistakenly put extra zero in previous review. I am sorry. The actual deposit was 200yuan only.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this stay for anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and well-located spot.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel accepts foreigners. The location is perfect - a short walk from both Xi'an railway station and the metro. Very convenient for sightseeing. Also plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. However, the hotel has no sign outside - it's in a building where there are several hotels, on the 11th floor. The room was large, and had the necessary amenities, though it could have been cleaner (especially the toilet). Service was fine - you can store your bags at the reception (though do note that it may be closed, so you'll have to call them first). However, the room wasn't cleaned, not sure whether they were supposed to clean it, though. Still, it's good value for money, considering the location, so if you're not too picky, it's a good option.

GGuest UserThe two-bedroom, one-living room apartment I stayed in was clean and comfortable, just like living at home. The boss was warm and service-oriented. I will stay in their store next time I come. It is close to the North Railway Station, very convenient!

GGuest UserThe environment is good, hygienic and clean, and the service is very enthusiastic. It is very close to Xijing Hospital. The rent is not expensive and the price is high. It is very suitable for travelers with low requirements.

AAskeRMWe had a bit of a rocky start with some unclean bedsheets in this slightly rustic hotel. But the owner, Eric is a top notch guy who instantly solved any and all problems we had. There was also free laundry he helped us with. The hotel seems to be still under renovation but we were totally fine with the experience, especially with the location and price point
