The room was ok or could have been if at least our room was cleaned and refilled with nessecities daily. The room was not maintained by any housekeeping, same towels for four nights, rubbish bins not cleared ever,no facial tissue, no hair dryer. Our pillows had mould on them (under the pillow covers) which caused respiratory issues. The room was always damp with many stains from water leaks or general moisture. We had to request additional toilet paper. Also, before we even put our luggage down, we were being sold on other products, such as a relative's tailor shop. There was also a leak under the bathroom sink. The manager there would be best served if he focused on a basic clean hotel. Also note the mould along the shower floor.

What a strange experience is all I can say. I’ll start with the limited positives, the bed was large and comfy and the room was decently sized with air conditioning, windows and a fridge. Only a 15 minute walk into the Old town, and very peaceful area with good street food down the road. That’s about it for good things. I try not to give bad reviews and see the positives in places, but as a fellow budget traveller I feel it’s my duty to warn others of the downfalls of this place as there is quite a few - -Nobody was in reception when we arrived and after looking around the place we couldn’t find anybody. Had to call the contact number at the front desk on WhatsApp to get hold of anyone. -as for the rest of our stay we could rarely find any staff, the desk was unmanned almost 24/7 so if you need help with anything you won’t get it. -There seemed to be no other guests here during our stay which was a bit eerie (not a person fault of the hotel but added to the uncomfortableness) -they offered bikes/laundry services but I would go elsewhere as its hard to get in contact with them (laundry/bikes go to Mira Minh laundry service nearby, she was lovely and cheap) -the pool was green when we arrived so you can forget about using it. -a big negative was No room clean for our entire 3 day stay so we had to dry our wet towels to reuse and no rubbish was collected so we had to leave it all in the corner. We had to ration our toilet paper as no top ups and as said could rarely find staff. -The door takes about 5-10 minutes minimum to lock and is super frustrating and honestly was the most annoying thing about this place -The bathroom is a huge issue, the toilet is inside the shower for starters which was strange, and every time you take a shower the water leaks everywhere in the bathroom and even into the main bed area as it’s not sealed properly. The water wouldn’t go fully cold either so showers were Lukewarm and with it being 33 degrees, was quite unpleasant. -No privacy in the bathroom either as it is not separate from the main area, can only close the shower door but you can hear everything which is uncomfortable. -overall the room was not super clean, stains on the bedding and we found a dead cockroach in the middle of the bathroom upon arrival. -The air conditioning also turns off when you leave so the room is like a hot box when you get back for the day unlike other hotels. -on our last morning we had an early flight and had to leave the hotel at 5.30am and let the owner know prior, however when leaving we found a padlock on the front door so we couldn’t get out until the owner came and he didn’t seem happy despite me telling him in advance, didn’t like the fact we were locked in the hotel at all. Overall, for not much extra money you could stay at a nicer hotel and closer to the old town - my advice is to go elsewhere even for budget travellers it’s not worth the savings for the downfalls and you’ll enjoy your time more in Hoi An in another p
