Hotel is in district one.central area walking distance to many malls and near to river..SGD10 bus tour for 45mins at night is beautiful and worth the money. I will stay there again.Breakfast is nice.

Disappointing stay: Great location Run down hotel in bad need of renovation, staff can hardly speak English, terrible breakfast spread and difficult to communicate with staff to get anything.

1 out of 3 rooms I booked is the only spacious one. Overall we are happy, breakfast is good and wide assortment.

Everything up to expectations. Continental Saigon hotel has a long history of more than one hundred years. It’s nice to step inside this hotel and feeling the mood of the past while enjoying all the modern comforts. We booked a suite with balcony and view on the Opera theater. The location is perfect for walking to all the major attractions in district 1 and nearby districts. Check in and out fast and efficient. Staff very helpful to suits our needs. Good breakfast served in a nice inside patio with trees and plants.

A charming and elegant hotel located in the heart of downtown. After a productive day of business networking, it provides a refined and comfortable environment for relaxation.

Such a historical and just beautiful experience as you take in the atmosphere from the French influence in the hotel's architecture as well as listening for voices of ghosts that spent months reporting the horrors of war in the past century. The hotel is lovingly preserved in it's former glory with the rich woods tone of floors and wall paneling , especially the opera view suite rooms. The breakfast was sumptuous enjoyed in a beautiful courtyard setting. Location is excellent to see all the sight of old Saigon and new Ho Chi Minh City. Close to sightseeing buses. And after a long day of touring, enjoy a cocktail or coffee outside the hotel restaurant where Graham Greene and Anthony Bourdain imbibed a few beverages in the past. The entire staff provided excellent service as well! Thanks for a memorable experience Hotel Continental!

Historic place, great location if you don’t mind the noise. Large room, great outdoor breakfast. Ancient lol

breakfast is okay, not a lot but good enough. Love the location, very close to everything.

We paid extra for a room with a garden view, however EVERY evening they had an event (weddings, graduations, private parties) and we could not enjoy the garden view, much less the room. I would have gladly paid extra for no window so as to not be an unwitting by-stander to a local wedding. The hotel is historic and and interesting, but I would not stay again.

The hotel location is great at city center, built in 1881 by French architect very historic, hotel surrounding by lots of restaurants and massage parlor，but the hotel only have one restaurant the food very average not much selection, however the front desk staffs English is poor not easy communicate. It’s very frustration.

Very convenient place and the place is very rich with history.

My second trip here, location is very good, walking distance to shopping mall, near walking street. Breakfast serving at the garden feel nice and relaxing. Will be back again
