My room and the service were perfect. The breakfast was great: homemade yogourt, banane and chocolaté pancakes, fresh crusty bread, fresh fruit… I highly recommend. Good location. I walked to the historical area in about 30 minutes. No elevator in my side of the building.

Small clean and comfortable hotel situated in District1. The staff are very helpful and do what they can to assist you during your stay. Our room was in the annex and ideal. Quiet and good sized with nicely appointed bathroom. Complimentary breakfast includes pancakes and eggs. Plus bread and local dishes. Overall very good value and recommended.

Lovely hotel, although ominously I stayed in... room 101. Good-sized room, spacious, big (and very comfy) bed. Nicely kept bathroom and the shower worked, but it would never go beyond luke warm, at best. What made the place was the staff. Both receptionist during my time there were friendly, helpful, cheerful, hospitable, and did all the could for me. Breakfast was lovely, and the lady who served it (I've forgotten her name, sorry) was equally lovely and made me feel right at home. Nothing was too much trouble. And, nice touch, on my last night they left a free foot spa outside my door: a wooden tub filled with chopped pomelo, sea salt, herb oil, lemon and ginger... which I filled with hot water, allowed to cool, and bathed my feet in before going to sleep.

Great hotel. Friendly and helpfull stuff. Good breakfast. Defenetely recommend to visit this hotel in Hochimin city in Vietnam. Design of rooms are also very beautiful. They offer free laundry every day. And free spa for legs every night. Location is also good.

Great little hotel, located down a lane way - room was clean, beds and pillows comfortable, safe worked and nice hot shower. Staff were very helpful & ‘Jacob’ even walked with me a few mins down the street to his favourite banh mi stall. Excellent. Lovely breakfast on roof top with pancakes, fruit, eggs, nice hot coffee all served by Fleur who was really gorgeous & friendly. Hotel also provided free extras including foot soak bath to room at evening, water, sweets & best of all free washed and folded laundry delivery back to room. My kids and I loved it. Would stay again. If booking transportation to hotel via grab use their address as the hotel name didn’t come up from some reason Đường Đề Thám 88/2, Ho Chi Minh City

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was good, quiet and clean. The hotel is nicely located in a downtown area. We especially enjoyed the kindness and good care of the staff. We were helped excellently by Mark (Khoa), who made a lovely contribution to our stay in the hotel. Thanks for the good care and would recommend!

This was the first place we stayed during our month-long trip in Vietnam and it was a wonderfully welcoming place. We had a triple (one double, one single bed) with a balcony that overlooked the quiet alley the hotel is on. The room was clean and the staff was kind and helpful. The street beyond the alley is busy but it was fairly quiet in the alley. The breakfast, served by the delightful Fleur, is tasty and plentiful. I especially liked the homemade yogurt. Keep in mind that there is no elevator. I would definitely stay here again.

A great experience in Saigon. Little hotel in the back pack quarter. Nice, clean and quiet. In the alley local restaurants, buzzing, charming, so exciting to be part of. Breakfast or more likely petit dejeuner were served on 5 floor, like a french oase, we can only recommend this place!!

Lovely people, great place and location. And ma and her crew serve up a delicious breakfast on the rooftop, I was even left a complimentary foot soak outside my room. And inside were little treats for you to have. And it was fairly quiet considering you’re in the thick of it there. But great location for walking to places. Highly recommend!!

From a pretty unprepossessing entrance at the end of an alley in a chaotic part of town, Chez Mimosa is a real gem of a place. We loved the cleanliness of the room and the friendliness of the staff. We especially loved the bucket of salts & citrus that was left for us to soak our feet before bedtime after a long day in a hot city. The local area has a lot going on and can happily recommend the street cafe on the right as you exit the alley - the lady who rubs it does a fabulous & delicious bowl of breakfast noodles.👌

We travelled SEA for 3 months and this was one of our favourite accommodation. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, beds and pillows very comfortable, the hotel is off a busy street down a little alley but it was very quiet at night (we were in room 201), they offered complementary laundry service daily which we greatly appreciated - freshly washed & folded clothes delivered back to the room at the end of the day, room cleaned well and new towels daily. I would 100% return again and highly recommend to others.

This was the first place we stayed after arriving in Vietnam - best decision ever. The staff were incredible and went out of their way to help us organise our trip. The room was very clean and air conditioned, with a big bathroom and comfy bed. Loved the location too. Walking distance from all the things we wanted to see in Ho Chi Minh, but in a quieter spot away from the busy roads. Complimentary breakfast was awesome - Fleur took great care of us.

The hotel itself is lovely, nice and helpful staff, good simple breakfast, well appointed rooms, comfortable beds and very clean. But it is quite noisy as there is no insulation to stairs, reception and corridor. The area the hotel is in is fairly dirty too, not the nicest experience. Overall, it was a good stay but like HCMC in general, there are so many nicer places in Vietnam…

Positive: The room we stayed was very cute and the air conditioning worked well. The staff was very kind and they definitely tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was very delicious, even tough you have to pay about 150,000 Vietnamese Dong extra per person, and they even offered fresh passion fruit juice. Negative: Our bathroom was not nice at all. We still cannot figure out what smelled, but something did very badly. The plumbing in our shower did not work, so it took hours until the water had drained off after one had taken a shower, creating our little swimming pool in our bathroom. In the end the flushing of the toilet also broke. However nice the staff was, they could not speak English well, so the communication was difficult. The area the hotel is in was absolutely horrible and every trip outside of the hotel room is a near death experience. The scooters drive carelessly and sometimes you have to wait 10 minutes to be able to cross the street. We could not figure out where and how the busses drive, so we had to walk to every attraction in the suffocating heat, as we are on a budget and could not always pay for a taxi. Therefore, we only saw a limited area of Ho Chi Minh City. It is very dirty everywhere, there are free dogs and their droppings and it smells so disgusting on the street that we often wished, we would be able to not breathe for a while. It was worth seeing in what conditions people have to live, but I still would not recommend staying in any part of the area surrounding the hotel. There were people peeing on the sidewalk, while others were selling fruits from the floor on the other side of the road. However, this experience did lead continuously to the realization, what a luxurious life we have in Germany, which is no doubt very important. Still I would think twice about coming here, we were shocked, frightened and overwhelmed.
