We love this hotel in the heart of Santiago. The shower is reminiscent of the Rambo I movie, piece of pressure. Unbeatable treatment of the staff. The kids are super attentive

A bright and friendly hotel. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, including when I called reception after midnight. The breakfast was lovely too. 10 minute walk from the old quarter and situated on a lovely street with nice restaurants and bakeries. Would thoroughly recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast and reception staff we encountered were fantastic. Crumear (spelling?) and the young guy on breakfast service were simply the best. My friend had an injury and they went out of their way with assistance and are to be commended!

This hotel was the starting point for our Real Food Adventure, leaving Spain to go to Portugal. It was fairly well located, but down the hill from our previous hotel. Staff were helpful. Our breakfast here started us off well for the day with a good selection of foods.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Alda San Carlos upon completing the Camino de Santiago. The room was clean and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised that our room, which was next to the elevator and facing the street, was very quiet. Lots of hot water in the shower. The hotel is an easy walk to the Cathedral. The staff were gracious, welcoming, helpful and responsive. Added bonuses: the bus to the airport has a stop just across the street from the hotel and the Victoria Market just up the block has delicious fresh produce, chocolates and pastries!

It’s such à Nice place to stay in Santiago! Extremely efficient, kind, welcoming girls-team. They have been all so nice and supportive. The room was clean, large and well equipped. Breakfast good with various choices of food and beverage.

We wanted a hotel for a stopover between Spain and France. This hotel is not a hotel to stay in, the bed is not comfortable, the welcome is average. We only spent one night there. The advantage is that it is not far from the center where there are quite a few restaurants and shops to stroll around in the evening.

The location is excellent, just a stone's throw from the cathedral and in a very quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the centre. Access is easy and breakfast is good. It is a shame that once again, and this is the 3rd trip, we have problems with the air conditioning. It is incomprehensible that out of 6 hotels, 3 have broken, leaky or missing air conditioning. The heat was unbearable. They changed our room the next day, but the hot night after doing the Camino will stay with us.

Relatively well located hotel 15 minutes from the city center. Hotel soulless from the moment you enter until you go up to the room. The rooms are spacious but poorly maintained. If you lift the toilet paper you find that the holder is rusty. The cafeteria does not exist and the breakfast is regrettable.

The hotel has an ideal location, as it is within walking distance of the historic center and restaurants, but at the same time in a quiet area. This allows you to enjoy the comfort of being close to tourist attractions, without sacrificing tranquility and rest. Both the cleaning and reception staff were very attentive and friendly during our stay. They were always willing to help us and make sure we had everything we needed. If you are looking for rooms with good lighting, I would recommend requesting the front rooms.
