Daiwa Roynet Hotel Hiroshima-Ekimae Reviews

Hotel looks new. We booked a queen bed room and the room size is not too small. The bathroom is big and spacious, good for a great soak. A pity that this hotel doesn't privide bath salt. Location: opposite hiroshima shinkansen station, about 6 mins walk, with linkway and elevator. We have to.take public transport to various points of interest.

The place is exactly like in the photos. The room was very clean but cramp (usual jap room), need to shift furniture around to open 2 luggages. However, the toilet and shower is very spacious, wet and dry area is separated. Have both bathtub and shower area. Toilet and shower is also very clean, one of the best (for japan hotels) during my trip. Warm water comes quickly and the water pressure in the shower is strong. Hotel is easy to find, and walking distance from the shinkansen (exit beside the shinkansen, away from the direction of the bus interchange). There is 7-11 and lawson right at the hotel entrance. During check in, staff speaks good english and assisted us promptly. Very friendly and approachable. We were able to add breakfast for one day. Breakfast had good variety and the taste is not bad. Mini ramen and cheesecake is delicious. We were able to get additional pillows from the counter. The queen bed is huge and comfortable. Free wifi is very strong. Will stay again

had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any questions. My room was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed, including a comfortable bed and fast Wi-Fi. The location was excellent – close to public transport, restaurants, and major attractions. Breakfast offered a good variety and tasted fresh. While the hotel wasn’t very large, it had a cozy and quiet atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Overall, great value for money. I would definitely recommend it and stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic! Central location, near Shinkansen. Flanked by multiple kombini!! Short distance to attractions like Hiroshima Peace Memorial (direct bus!!). Room was very big and clean. Will definitely recommend

Great location and all others are in acceptable Even Breakfast variety and quality are ok but many dishes left empty for long time without refill while it is only early 9am. Some dished left empty since I start until I finish. This is first time experience breakfast service like this.

Unfortunately we had a very uncomfortable stay compared with our stay in Aomori in this hotel chain. In-spite of requesting non smoking we were put in a smoking room that absolutely stunk and there’s even cigarette burns on the curtains! The staff did kindly offer to move us however the only room they could change us into was a twin and I just didn’t want to sleep in a separate bed from my life partner; yet again on this 4 week trip in a country where hotel rooms with double beds have been very hard to find. We chose to stay because it was only for 2 nights and used the air freshener regularly took antihistamines to stop our eyes watering.

This hotel is centrally located and not too far from Hiroshima Station. However, personally I find the room design can be better. However, we do enjoy the breakfast even though the spread is not too much. However, I can see that they serve the foods with hearts and customer service is good too. Just the room, can still improve. Please look into it.

Very good and wide bathroom

We booked the accomodation with the wrong month by accident. Contacted hotel within 24 hours of booking within a few hours only to be told that the booking would not be shifted and all monies forfeited. However they would take a new booking for the same dates except 2 months earlier .. we declined that ridiculous offer

Just opposite Hiroshima Station with short walking distance. Seven eleven and Lawson convenient store right below the building. Very satisfying and comfortable stay, definitely recommend this.

The location of the hotel is just metres away from the Hiroshima train station which makes it extremely easy to get to and from the hotel from everywhere. The room was extremely clean and of a very decent size. The bathroom as all the bathrooms in Japan, is spotless and very modern like brand new. Views are stunning from every room as the hotel starts from Level 13 and above. The highlight of the stay was the staff excellence and willingness to help. By mistake I didn't realised I booked a Smoking room but they resolved it for using a very seamless way. I would stay there every time in future.

It’s a 10 mins walk from JR station. Room size is a typical Japan style hotel size, do not expect it will be very big. Overall it’s clean and pleasant.
