Suitable for business trip..the price not bad

When I booked through here, I was assigned an accessible room... The hotel refused to change the room, and the waiter who looked like a Filipino had a very bad attitude.

Convenient location, considerate service, good security to prevent unauthorized people from entering, large and clean room, friendly staff

Compared to other primier inns in small towns, this one is worth recommending. It is new overall, the room is not small, the breakfast is rich in variety, the room is warm, and there is a shopping street downstairs with many supermarkets.

It's OK. The room facilities are a bit old and the sanitary conditions are average.

Upon arrival at Hemel Hempstead Central, I was stunned by how big the hotel was. Looked very new and was situated next to the shopping centre (bonus) I went to check-in and was greeted by the Duty Manager on shift - she was very welcoming and so nice. I then went to my room which was on the first floor and had a stunning view of the shopping centre - to which wowed me as I didn’t book for a room with a view but it was very scenic. The rooms cleanliness itself was gorgeous - looked exactly like the pictures and didn’t feel like your typical budget hotel chain! (Luxury to say the least) Later on during my stay - went for dinner down in the restaurant. Seated promptly with a nice window table and a raspberry gin! (Had a cute little umbrella in too) Dinner was served hot and was delicious. The Cadbury Sundae was delicious. Service was top notch and overall brilliant. Hotel Manager was working during breakfast - was gladly having a lovely chat with her and the breakfast was fresh and replenished frequently! Overall, a wonderful stay and will be returning later this year hopefully!

Preferred the original Premier inn style. Mattress and pillows were hard, I didn't get much sleep because of it. The A/C was loud, made loud bumping noises every so often. The toilet seat wasn't attached properly, so it wobbled around. The tap in the bathroom was horrible... when put hands under the water sprayed everywhere even at low setting. When was evening and in the morning all could hear was thudding of person walking around on floor above. There was obviously a hole made in one of the walls and they did a terrible job of fixing it. There were two tiny lifts and one was broken.

Had a lovely weekend, want to say a massive thankyou to Talha and Hayden, who gave excellent customer care, they both made us feel very welcome and helped us with their great knowledge of Hemel Hempstead. The rooms were lovely and comfortable and the food was good, I would highly recommend and I will definitely be returning.

I prefer to have on site parking but parking in the Riverside was straight forward. We had a lovely room on the fifth floor with a nice view. The updated premier rooms are our preferred option now! Would definitely stay here again as very convenient for M1 and M25.
