Chongqing MAX Fanshi Hotel (Jiefangbei Raffles City) Reviews

Location was perfect, so close to Chaotianmen station that's merely within seconds. Metro line 1 is very convenient and easily reach a lot of attractions or with 1 interchange to another line. The only problem I had was the noise from street down below as I'm only on level 5. It was still acceptable to my standard but be mindful if you are a light sleeper. There is a small open gym behind the reception counter, also a laundry room available that's a plus.

The hotel is located in a building right in front of Raffles City. The room is small but comfortable and really we just needed it to sleep. The location is great and there is a Lawson next to it so it is quite convenient. Would definitely stay again cause it is a budget friendly hotel and the location is awesome. You need to go to floor 5 for the hotel lobby.

Excellent location. A neat and clean room. Every major tourist destination within walking distance. Lots and lots of food available around the place. Perhaps the only thing that I wish was better was the lift service as mostly the two lifts remain busy and so guests need to wait.  But what makes the hotel special is really the most friendly and helpful service attitude. I want to specially mention the Li Yanlin and Yang Jing. I cannot speak Chinese but they ensured that all my requests were promptly addressed. They helped me book a trip to dazu, suggested how to visit places of interest and even organized a spa treatment upon request. These kind of people attract customers and make a hotel great.

Very good hotel that is opposite to Raffles City Shopping Centre and walking distance from jiefangbei pedestrian street. Tidy and spacious room that is well maintained with modern toilet. The ladies and gentleman at the reception are warm, hospitable and very helpful.

Prime location just right in front of Raffles City! Very close to metro & bus stops too!!!

Loved our hotel room! Stunning, modern interior design, very spacious and has 2 projectors (one upstairs and another one downstairs) and a bath tube. Convenient location very close to tourist areas and located just opposite a metro station and the Raffle City.

Guys! Don’t believe on comments. Yesterday I stayed with my family in this hotel 🏨. (1) The noise from outside is very bad no sound cancellation from windows 🪟. (2) 12:00 🕛 o clock 3 to 4 Chinese young boys were drunk and stay behind our room. These boys make so much noises such as screaming, shouting, barking also on TV 📺 volume so high like a KTV and singing. After sometime they start fighting and throwing things on floor. Trust me we never sleep from 1:00 to 5:00 o clock ⏰. We even complain about them to hotel 🏨 counter the lady come notice and said these boys are not in this hotel however they rent home just behind our room on 6th floor. In my 10 years of life in China i never 👎🏼 listen such noise and screaming in any hotel 🏨 but last night I didn’t sleep normal. Once I thought I call ☎️ police 110 then I thought they will create more dramatic situation. Please never ever stay in this hotel 🏨 if you are with GF or family. Single might be ok but not normal. Lastly, yes room were clean, washroom is good , all amenities available. Elevator 🛗 is too busy because of common building all 30 floors people use same elevator 🛗 so you might need to Waite long time. Location of hotel 🏨 is good 👍🏼. Note: Hotel 🏨 management needs to understand this if you give room to family people please don’t give right or left rooms to only boys or bachelors! Because as family people they sleep early and have children they afraid of noise and always woke up and cry. Young people especially boys they do too much noise and not sleep 🛌 till morning! I don’t know how to tell you my last night terrible disgusting and horrible experience. Any way!!!

Very convenient location . 10 minutes walk to 洪崖洞，2 minutes walk crossing the road to Raffers city mall, metro station just under the basement. This is my second time staying at this hotel

The hotel is great and the staff too. The rooms are spacious and the hotel has everything you need. The location is amazing, next to the metro station and in the middle of the two rivers in Chong Qing, everything is near and you can go walking. It is in front of the raffles city so you can find it easily.
