Mercure Hefei South Station Luogang Central Park Hotel Reviews

Wonderful experience at Mercure Hefei South Railway Station. Very kind and helpful staff, top quality amenities, and amazing value for the price.

This was my first time staying at a Mercure hotel and I was not disappointed. This new hotel opened in April. I usually stay at less expensive hotels but I was attending a festival at Luogang Central Park and wanted to find accommodations nearby. It was a short walk from the hotel door to the festival gates. I could see the stages from my room. The service at the hotel was the best that I have ever encountered. I was immediately greeted by the guest services agents. Sally, the front office manager, assisted me as I checked in. She speaks excellent English. Sally assisted me by entering the hotel address and room number into Meituan. The food was delivered to my room by robot. Sally and the staff at the front desk made sure that everything about my stay was as perfect as it could be. On day two, I ordered Meituan again. The food never arrived. As I do not know any Chinese, Sally helped me by talking to the vendor and delivery driver. She spent two days (even after I had checked out and gone home) to make sure that I got a full refund from Meituan. For some reason, I could not rent a phone charger from the machine in the lobby (that is a problem on my end not a problem with the machine). One of the guest services agents on duty rented the charger for me and I paid her when I returned the charger. My room was beautiful! I had a corner room with windows on two sides. I enjoyed a long soak in the tub each day. The toilet came with a remote control that I translated. There were a few minor things about the room that could be improved. 1. The refrigerator was stocked with free beverages. However, there were no sugar free sodas. The water bottles are smaller than what I am used to and there were only two bottles of regular drinking water in the room. The maid and front desk were happy to supply me with more when asked. 2. The telephone sits on the bedside table that is in the far corner of the room. You have to walk around the bed to reach it. The phone would be more accessible on the side of the bed closer to the sitting area. I don't usually use the hotel phone but you do get a call when the robot comes to your door. 3. To open and close the curtains, you press the button next to the bed. The corner room has large windows on both walls. There is no way to only open the curtain on one side of the room. The morning sun was too strong from one window so I used a chair to prop open the curtains on the other window. 4. There is a lack of foreign programming on the television. Other hotel chains that I use have a free English movie station like HBO or Cine-Max. I travel with a USB stick that has some movies saved on it in case the hotel does not offer such programming. However, the original TV remote is not supplied in the room and there is no way to change the TV input from their satellite box to the USB port. I did not have my laptop with me. I inquired with Sally at the front desk but there was nothing that she could do. There was an option to order pay per view movies. 5. The next problem is my error. I put the paper do not disturb sign on the door. I did not realize that there was also a button on the light switch that turns on a green light outside of the door when you want the room cleaned. I accidentally turned on the light. The maid walked in on me without knocking first. She was very kind and apologetic. I did not use all hotel amenities. I did enjoy the wine, coffee, and snacks in the front lobby. I also ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant each day. There was a nice variety on the breakfast buffet that changed daily. I found the laundry room to be clean and comfortable with a small sitting area. It is located near the fitness room and restaurant. I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again if I am in the area. The small issues that I mentioned above are just minor inconveniences and nothing that can't be corrected or worked around. Based on my stay here, I would also try other Mercure hotels when traveling.

The hotel is new, nice and clean. Excellent choice for people able to speak and read Chinese. For foreigners it works but the staff does not speak English except one lady at the front desk.

There was a little hiccup when booking this time. I originally booked a double bed room, but I made a mistake. The hotel quickly solved the problem and added an extra bed. The service attitude was really good. The room is quite big and comfortable to live in. What satisfies me the most is the laundry service. You can pick it up and deliver it directly to your door, so you don’t have to worry about anything. This is very convenient. The small refreshments in the lobby are also very well made and taste good. It feels good to have some when waiting for friends or when taking a break.

I think there's no problem at all. The people at the service desk were very friendly and spoke in Chinese that foreigners can understand, so I felt very polite. If you go to Hefei on business, you will definitely choose this hotel.

The room is very spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides and a good view. The bathtub is very big. Tall people can basically straighten their legs. The body lotion smells very good💙. The breakfast tastes very good and has a rich variety, including sliced ​​cheese.

The experience is very good! ! ! ! The front desk lady's service is very good. Like it, the room is beautiful, the bed is very comfortable, the breakfast is rich and fresh, and the fried food is freshly made! There is shredded chicken in the wonton stew soup. It is full of details and delicious. Makes you want to stay again!

Facilities: The facilities are relatively new and clean, and the details are in place. Hygiene: Hygiene is good, the aunt who cleans every day is also great Environment: The environment is very good, the room is nice, and the breakfast is delicious Service: The service is pretty good. The lady at the front desk during check-in and the lady at check-out are both very nice. Overall, the experience was very good. I will book this hotel next time I go to Hefei.

The room is large and clean. I also like the decoration style. The scenery outside is great and you can directly see Luogang Airport Park and Garden Expo Park. The separate design of the toilet and bathroom is also great. The smart toilet is easy to use and the mattress is super comfortable. Although it is close to the viaduct, the sound insulation effect is very good when the double-glazed glass is closed. The service staff of the hotel are very professional and enthusiastic. I am very satisfied with this trip and accommodation. I will give priority to Mercure next time I travel. The price/performance ratio is really high! This is my first long review of a hotel with full marks!

Overall it's pretty good, not to mention the flaws in hygiene. The view from the room is very good - you can see Luogang Central Park.

The hotel is close to the Garden Expo and Hefei South Railway Station. Convenient to travel. Although the rooms on the elevated side are a bit noisy, they can see the panoramic view of the Garden Expo. The rooms in the other three directions basically cannot see the Garden Expo. The guest rooms of the Mercure Hotel occupy three floors, 10-12, plus a restaurant, laundry room and gym on the 9th floor. All in all the experience was good.

French buffet breakfast: The breakfast is not delicious, it is full of carbohydrates and very oily. Fruit is good First round of all-you-can-drink minibar: This is okay The hotel facilities are pretty good, but the overhead line outside is a bit noisy during the day, but it's okay at night The bed was very comfortable! ! !

Breakfast: Breakfast time is from 6:00 to 11:00 am, the duration is touching. There are many kinds, and the wontons are delicious.  Room: The decoration is very new and the hygiene is very good. Service: The lady at the front desk helped upgrade the room type for free. The service attitude was very good. The cleaning aunt and the restaurant aunt were also very good at service, and they could delay check-out until 3:00 pm. Overall: The overall experience is very good. I will choose Mercure again if I have the opportunity in the future! ps, the self-service refreshments in the hotel lobby, the biscuits are not very tasty🙁
