Holiday Inn Express Augsburg Reviews

The hotel was a value for money. Parking was limited on first come first served basis. It was located close to a shopping mall but we didnt get to visit as we were on transit to Stuttgart and opening hours was short. Augsburg historical city was within a walking distance.

Good hotel

There is nothing wrong with the rooms. Stylish, with air conditioning and a large bathroom. The breakfast is also great. However, we were extremely dissatisfied with the service in the hotel. My mother (77 years old) and I arrived at 12:15 after a 580 km drive. The friendly receptionist told me that we couldn't move into the room yet because check-in wasn't until 2 p.m. I said: "Oh, they're fully booked and the rooms aren't cleaned yet!?" She said no, but the rule is that you can't check in until 2 p.m. I understand that you can't get into the room at 7 or 8 a.m., but if you show up 1:45 hours before check-in time and the rooms are free, then I expect a little more flexibility.

The hotel is relatively clean, the room is small, and it is a family room with a baby bed. It is about 20-30 minutes walk from the scenic spot. Free parking is available in the hotel yard, which is great👍 The breakfast is OK, and it has everything you need, including a coffee machine, several kinds of sausages, cereal, boiled eggs, and fresh and delicious bread. The cups and plates are hot and clean👍 There are many people at breakfast. The lobby is quite warm and the service is OK. The wash basin in the bathroom is awkward. It is so high that you can only wash your hands, face and mouth, and the water flows back.

This time everything was great. We chose a room with two beds. The bed width is great.

Centrally located, clean hotel Breakfast was good quality, but unfortunately it was very bread-heavy and there were no hot dishes (no scrambled eggs, bacon, fried eggs, omelettes, etc.) Rooms were nicely furnished, but there was no fridge

The ice machine on the first floor is very convenient.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage und erfüllt seinen Zweck für eine Nacht auf jeden Fall - mehr aber auch nicht. Das Personal ist sehr nett & zuvorkommend. Wir hatten in unserem Zimmer leider Silberfische.
