Hotels near Xinghe Men's Clothing Mansion, Hangzhou

The hotel is very beautiful. The location is perfect, right next to the city center where night life is vibrant nearby. Lots of people fill the streets. However, it was still quiet when we returned to the room to sleep! Very comfortable stay. For breakfast, the food was good Chinese style buffet but quite simple. I would stay in this hotel again.

The room facilities are very new. The environment outside the window is not good, and the sound of the air conditioner opposite is a bit noisy, which may not be tolerated by those with poor sleep. The soundproofing on the upper and lower floors next door is pretty good. The room smells like a newly renovated house. The rooms booked by Ctrip are not allocated well, and the rooms are crooked. The more times they are booked, the more times they are booked, the impression of the hotel and Ctrip will be bad.

So far into my trips to China, Ji Hotel remains to be one of the only hotels I’ve stayed in simply because they are everywhere! But also, their prices are always very competitive (sometimes the most affordable). This hotel did not disappoint, I’m a fan of Ji Hotel’s modern/wooden aesthetics. And the addition of Chinese tea sets in each room is very thoughtful. Staff were very kind and proactive during our short stay. This hotel is a walk away from the famous West Lake and the main shopping area (in77/Hubin/Yintai). The walk towards the latter is also filled with small shops and food options. Getting to the hotel from Fengqi Rd. Station is a lovely 3-min stroll, you cross a bridge in the process also avoiding the massive roads and traffic. You can use exit/entrance C6 and find plenty of food options underground also. Room was new and clean, most amenities can be provided at reception. Cool smart voice-control feature in the room also. The only thing to be aware of, if this concerns you, is that our room did not have a refrigerator - I can’t say for sure that’s the case for all rooms. But to be safe, I would check beforehand if I stayed again.

It is our first time traveling to Hangzhou free n easy. Found this hotel is new and at a reasonable price. My husband n son love the hotel's modern design. The location is quite ok with walking distance to the metro station and west lake . Is within 700m. We will choose this hotel for our next trip.

A very picturesque view out of our room. Hotel staff have been exceptionally attentive. From the second they notice you were heading towards the front entrance, one guy held the door opened while another helped to take our luggages in. The 360 rotating restaurant was definitely the highlight of our stay! The breakfast buffet was interesting and full of options. We loved every part of our stay at the Friendship Hotel Hangzhou. Everything came with a little personal touch. Location is perfect. Highly recommended! Hangzhou was one of the most scenic places we’d visited in China. The West Lake presented a different kind of beautiful at night. You must try the boat ride across the lake! You will not be disappointed!

I booked the Sunshine Tatami Room for 2 nights with my partner, and it was a pleasant stay throughout the days. We were being offered complimentary breakfast Chinese-western fusion style at the 11th floor for 2 nights, free coffee vouchers at Peets’ Coffee at the lobby and the hotel offered free laundry service on the 10th floor. The tatami room was big enough for us to lay our 28” luggages flat on the floor, and have a L shape sofa with a super big screen TV. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

i have used this place for a few years now, whenever i come to hangzhou. the reason is, the location is perfect, only a 5 minute ride from west lake. the price is really reasonable and the design of the rooms is both pretty and unique (they also have additional amenities like a washing machine and small kitchen, plus a seating area and fantastic views of the city). but most of all, by far and away the main reason to come is the staff. it doesnt matter what time of day or night, or whatever the problem or request is, they are only to happy to fix it. being a foreigner, communicating online makes it far easier for me and with their help the whole travel experience is smooth, pleasant and comfortable. i really couldn't praise them enough - fantastic!

Hotel is very well located to the West Lake. Approx 15 mins walk. It is close to the night market and also a number of food halls. There is a coffee shop right downstairs on the right hand side of the hotel which makes great coffee. There is also 7/11 shop. Metro is also downstairs less than a min walk away. First impression checking in wasn’t great - English on checking in was difficult. Probably due to slight language barrier felt not as warmly welcomed as other hotels. I expect hotels that receive foreigners should have basic level check in. They also were very particular on how who should go into each of the three rooms but I said it we will sort this out between us. After that it was fine we went to our rooms. Rooms are quite outdated and could do with a bit of an upgrade especially with handles coming loose. Rooms come with bath robes, tooth brush, toothpaste, combs, Ted Baker toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and shower gel) and slippers. They also provide water bottles daily and there are ones you can take free as you head out towards the lift which is a nice touch. The hotel housekeeping staff were the best despite language barrier they were very polite, courteous and professional. Very helpful as well. There was a housekeeping lady who came to help us with wifi as we did not have a China mobile number and she also knew we had three rooms booked. She helped with two of the rooms and asked if the other room needed help but they didn’t. There isn’t much of a place where guest can relax as they come back to the hotel. There is a small space on the left hand side as you enter the hotel which has a football table, toy dispenser machines, limited seating area. For anyone who wants good location to West Lake I would say this is it. However I think there are better hotels out there. Closeness to food and restaurants is a bonus. Rooms are clean but could do with an upgrade. It’s weird to have a window in the shower room that is directly onto the room as doesn’t give much privacy if all lights on. Overall 8/10

I love the place. It is very near to the metro station that link directly to the railway station I was taking. Long the street, there are many shops where I walk walk around and shopping. Further down maybe 10mins walk, there are many shops selling snacks and souvenir stuff. It gets very lively at night. Can walk down even further to get to 大马弄 dama lane for breakfast. There is this 煎饺 stir fried dumplings very nice (泮芳春煎饺) get there early as it will get very crowded. There is another deep fried fish slice is very nice too (大马弄蒋师傅酥鱼) nice too. Overall the hotel is quite good. And if you order delivery, they have this robot to delivery to your room. 👍

When I booked on the first day, I didn't book a double bed room with an exterior window. The front desk lady downstairs upgraded my room for free. She was super enthusiastic and the hotel had free parking. There are also electric motorcycle charging piles in the basement, which is very convenient. The hotel is just above the Wulinmen subway station. It is convenient for travel and is very close to the West Lake Scenic Area, but the driveway is spacious. It is not crowded at all to drive a taxi. It is near the Baoshishan Mountain and has a high cost performance. Whether you are traveling alone, with a family, or living in Hangzhou for a long time, it is a good choice. Then the hotel decoration is very new, but there is no smell of a new room. The intelligent room is very convenient. I will choose to stay here again in the future. Finally, thank you to the front desk lady for upgrading my two-night lake view room for free. It was a surprise to see it the next morning.
