Shangri-La Hotels in Hangzhou

This is the newest five-star hotel near Xiling Bridge, and one of only two in the area with a pool (the other being Qiushui Villa). It's perfect for lotus viewing, and the pool is absolutely stunning – I loved it. The service was excellent. It's definitely worth experiencing. I really enjoyed the interior design; it's compact yet exquisitely refined. The room comes with a generous selection of complimentary beverages, which is a nice touch, but as I don't drink, I honestly would have preferred a slightly lower room rate. Both the afternoon tea and the Shenshi tea service were very pleasant. Overall, a truly relaxing hotel getaway.

This hotel was surprisingly good, exceeding all my expectations! I will definitely stay here again. Having visited Hangzhou many times and stayed at numerous hotels, I have very high standards when it comes to cleanliness. However, I was pleasantly surprised that this hotel's hygiene was its absolute best feature. Not only was the room spotless and odor-free upon check-in, but during my stay, they proactively collected trash, and cleaning services were incredibly prompt whenever requested. Their hard work is truly appreciated! The service mindset here also left a strong impression. During our two-night stay, every staff member we encountered, from management to housekeeping, would stop and greet us warmly. In a peak tourist season where many hotels tend to overlook service etiquette, Shangri-La truly hit the mark. Excellent! While the hotel's breakfast was certainly well-prepared, I'd hope for more variety. Specifically, it would be great to see more Western breakfast options compared to the Chinese selection. Shangri-La's commitment to customer feedback truly stood out to me. They humbly received our suggestions and resolved any issues with lightning speed, which I absolutely loved! The Shangri-La Hangzhou has provided me with legendary service. When I asked operator for a thermometer to check if I got a fever, they sent it to me very quickly. I measured the temperature and the staff watched it. As soon as she got downstairs, she shared the case to Front Desk Mgr.. Soon after, I received a call from the manager. She asked me if I need fruit to increase VC, and 4 waters. Moreover, she said that all medicine from Concierge can be sent to my room. I was deeply moved. Thanks to the FO Team, and I am grateful to stay with you again.
