Hangzhou Xingdu Hotel Reviews

A nice cozy hotel located Central Area. Due to raining, we were unable to take mrt but it can be easily accessible to nearby attractions using DIDI (within 3 to 4kms). Xiao hai extremely friendly and took care of us for the 3 days whenever we are going for breakfast. We are requesting to move to a bigger room in order to add one more bed for my elder son on the last night and it was taken care by the front staff timely and smoothly. On the last day, we were taking DIDi to train station (due to number of luggages and kids, we have to split into two cars, it’s kind of troublesome), while waiting , out of surprise, Mr Zheng at front gate offered to send us directly to train station. With the help from Mr Du and Mr Ding, we were able to reach train station on time. Overall it’s nice stay with friendly staff and clean room :)

I stayed for over 2 weeks while studying at the hospital. It was truly a home away from home. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. It was nice to have laundry service, spa, and restaurant all conveniently located in hotel. I would highly recommend Xingdu Hotel and will definitely stay again on my next visit to Hangzhou.

The hotel location is very good, close to west lake and all malls. The room was very cozy. We enjoyed our experience here. The staff at 14th floor is very helpful. 小海 from breakfast section is very welcoming and helpful. The only shortages are that there should be more delicious Chinese dishes for breakfast and maybe provide some bottled waters.

Super impressed with the service. Arrived late at hotel after a day of travelling and the hotel manager was looking out for us on arrival, giving little gifts to our kids on arrival, with yet more soft toys surprises in the room. Buffet breakfast was great with waitress recommending and arranging special dishes for us. Will definitely return

The location is very convenient for visiting the city. The room we stayed in was large and clean, and the staff was very courteous. Although almost no one spoke English, we managed to communicate using a phone translator. We requested laundry service, and they were very quick to return our clean clothes within a few hours. The breakfast was very varied and good.

The hotel is in a good location and quite near a subway station. Well decorated with good size room. The cleanliness was very well done, everyday after we return back to hotel for our rest in the afternoon, the room feels so clean and refreshing so we are very impressed with the cleaning staff. One particular staff worth mentioning is Ms.Hai from the morning breakfast restaurant. On our first morning, we came down to the restaurant at almost 10am, it was very crowded but Ms. Hai took care of us very well, got us our table all cleaned up and made sure we have enough food and the items we wanted as the kitchen was slowly closing up for breakfast to end. On our next few mornings, she did the same excellent service for us and we also saw that she took care of many other guests that needed her help also especially the elderly ones. We think Ms. Hai gives her service from her heart so please convey our special thanks to her. However, we find that the front desk staff are not as friendly as they just put on a superficial smile and they don't really listen and want to help you, maybe you should train them more so that they are able give your guests a more sincere service just like Ms. Hai from the breakfast restaurant. We found one interesting feature when we ordered our food online, its being served by a robot who brings the packed food right in front of our door! Overall experience is a good one. Thank you.

Hotel location is very good, near many nice places. Staff is polite. The only thing was that some guest smokes on the corridors, cigarette smell wasn’t very pleasant as a non smoker

Very good hotel, nice and spacious rooms, excellent service, convenient location, value for money. Definitely will stay here again if I come to Hangzhou. I highly recommend this hotel.
