Novotel Hamburg Central Station Reviews

I am not surprised with Novotel. A regular customer by them. The location is good close to everything. The hotel cannot be faulted it was all seamless stay.

Strategic location near train station and town. Walking distance to everywhere

The hotel is perfect for our trip - great location and service. Short walking distance to the main station, town centre and main square

New hotel with a big room sufficient for 3 of us. Since it coincide with the start of Euro 2024, the hotel seem to be packed and their service standard was not at the peak.

Location is relatively central and within walking distance to Jungfernsteig shopping district, 5 min drive from Alster Lake. The hotel is relatively new and clean, well maintained. There is a Nespresso machine in the room however there was no hot water kettle. When queried, the staff said to just use the Nespresso machine for hot water or drink water from the tap! Only sparkling water bottle was provided, if you want to buy a bottle of still water, it will cost EU7.00 (no thank you)!

Nice Hotel

Nice room and clean. Beds were great. Spacious modern bathroom. Only the room remained very warm even when we lowered the temperature.  Really a top location all shops, restaurants etc close by! Small minus point that you smelled a nasty sewer smell at the reception. Furthermore we had a super nice time in Hamburg super nice with all those Christmas markets.

The location is very close to the station. The room has enough space, but we were assigned to a room at the end of the second floor. The room had a strong smell after renovation. It was very bad. The window had to be opened to disperse it. The quilt on the bed was obviously stained. , there is no air-conditioning. It is too hot at night and you have to open the windows for ventilation. However, the floor is too low. There is construction work downstairs in the morning and the noise will wake you up. It is also very spacious. The room includes a table and other facilities. It's dust.

Advantages: - Location close to central station, quite convenient - Rich breakfast Disadvantages: - Low staff at check in, time-consuming and waiting -The mattress is too soft - There is only a half-glass water barrier at the shower location, which will leach the shower water out of the washroom

Just right for a city visit. Great location near the train station and all U/S-Bahn lines. Helpful staff including a birthday upgrade.
