Perfect hotel, great location!

Standard campanile hotel,Close to the tram station and underground station.15min to Gare and 5min walk to the centre.

The hotel is located near the city center but the neighborhood looks dangerous l better don’t go out in the night. Parking wasn’t available either. When we checked in at the hotel we found the room we were given wasn’t clean after previous visitors which was quite disappointing. Also the rooms have bad smell and amenities are quite poor

Everything there is good, but the location is not the best. Do not go back too late though.

Although our covid test result was positive, they did not cancel our reservation. they did not understand. When we reached the hotel and talked to them, they said they would help us, but they did not help in any way. that's why you shouldn't stay in such an unsympathetic hotel.

The location of the hotel is quite convenient, close to Guillotiere on Tramway Line 1, and it takes three or four minutes to walk. There is also a No. 12 bus to Bellecour. The room and bathroom are of good size, the hotel is clean, and the environment is not bad. Please note that there is no safe in the room, no luggage rack, there is a kettle, but no spoon, the cups are all disposable paper cups, and there is no tissue in the room, which is not very convenient. I live on the fourth floor, and there are several steps on both sides of the room, and I need to lift the luggage up, which is not very convenient (the last two pictures). The front desk service of the hotel is quite satisfactory. They are relatively young, so they probably don’t know how to communicate with guests better, but as long as you ask questions, they will answer you. For example, when checking in, the front desk forgot to tell me the hotel WIFI password and how to call the front desk. There was no instructions in the room, so I had to go downstairs to the front desk to ask. Others are OK.

Booked during the exhibition, it cost more than 2400 per night, which is more expensive than 150 in China. It's so difficult to book a room in Lyon during the exhibition season. When checking in, he wanted to charge me the city tax twice. Maybe he was too busy and confused. The breakfast was too average. Coins can be exchanged at the front desk. There is a McDonald's nearby where you can have a meal, but be careful with your phone when you go out, as the area around here is not safe. It's still close to the subway. You can take a few subway stops to the exhibition and then change to the tram to get there directly.
