This hotel was recommended by a friend and I went there with the intention of giving it a try. The result was completely beyond my expectation. The front office service is very good. They will explain the details when checking in. When I need something, the response speed is very fast and the problem can be solved in basically 5 minutes. , the parking lot is free, and eating downstairs is also very convenient. I almost forgot, they also have a gym. From the decoration to the service, I think there is no choice. I will definitely stay here to play games with friends later. Quanji Hotel, Xiangyang review I spent two nights at Quanji Hotel in Xiangyang, and I left with a mix of impressions some solid wins, one or two quirks, and a sense that this place knows what travelers like me actually want after a long day of sightseeing or meetings. First impressions - Exterior and lobby: Modern, clean, and uncluttered. The lobby feels calm, not trying too hard to impress you, which is nice after a long train ride. The check-in process was smooth, with staff who spoke enough English to help, but not so much that you felt talked down to. - Location: Pretty convenient depending on what you’re here for. It isn’t in the center of Xiangyang’s busiest streets, but you’re within a comfortable walk or short ride to key spots, plus there are eateries nearby that aren’t overhyped tourist traps. Room and comfort - The room itself was a solid 4-star vibe: tidy, well-lit, and surprisingly quiet for a hotel in what feels like a busy area. The bed was comfortable—firm enough to support a good night’s sleep but soft enough that you don’t feel like you’re lying on a board. - Amenities: Decent desk space if you’re traveling for work, reliable Wi-Fi, and a reasonable layout. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure and a practical layout. A few small things felt a touch “budget-first” like standard toiletries and a shower curtain rather than a glass enclosure—but nothing deal-breaking. - Cleanliness: Overall good. Housekeeping did a thorough job during my stay, and I didn’t notice any telltale corners being overlooked. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable dropping your gear and not worrying about dirt or mess. Service - Front desk and staff: Friendly and helpful. They stood by for recommendations on dining and local spots without turning the conversation into a sales pitch. When I asked for directions or a printout of an itinerary, they were efficient and patient. - Housekeeping: Prompt and discreet. No intrusions at odd hours, which I appreciated.

This hotel meets my expectations because my job is related to hotels. Based on my understanding of five-star hotels, this hotel can actually do better. It just needs to be improved a bit. I drove here on National Day this time, and I was most afraid of not having a parking space, but I don’t have to worry about it at SDIC Jiayue. There are plenty of parking spaces, both underground and above ground. I give this a 10 points. This hotel has high integrity and is owned by itself. Unlike the floors and parking spaces of other hotels where I stayed the next day, they were shared with other hotels. (Mainly, SDIC Jiayue was fully booked, so there were no seats available the next day). Secondly, the location of this hotel is a little far away from the ancient city and Tangcheng, because I thought that I didn’t care about these problems because I didn’t drive. There are few places to eat and drink for late night snacks nearby, but you can order takeout. If you check into the hotel early in the evening, the hotel has a QR code for ordering food that you can scan and order. Off-topic (the chef in our five-star hotel is available 24 hours a day and can cook as long as the guests need it. This can be improved, although basically no one eats late-night snacks in the hotel). In addition, the operation of turning on the TV program is too complicated. If you are old and don't know how to operate it, you should just watch TV and change channels as soon as you turn it on. By the way, I would like to criticize the front desk. When guests check in, it’s a bit awkward for two staff members to chat in front of me, right? I care about this very much and feel disrespected. In fact, I am very unhappy about this matter. I hope your leaders will see this. Finally, let’s talk about how early in the morning it is: For such a high-quality hotel, breakfast in the morning felt a bit chaotic. Not enough staff, guests left, not cleaned in time, etc. This cannot be blamed on the hotel, because there were too many people during the National Day holiday, and everyone was comparing notes. All the hotel’s middle-level leaders came back to work to provide services. I chatted with a hotel leader for a long time. In the end, I gave the hotel a 10-point satisfaction rating. I will come to SDIC Jiayue next time because the state-owned enterprise is guaranteed. I hope the hotel will improve a bit and become the No.1 hotel in Xiangyang city in the future. This is also my expectation for you, come on.

2026.5.1 Stay in duplex family loft suite 1️⃣ Xiangyang Hotels during May 1st are not so good choices. I chose to choose the opposite side of the Han River. Compared with living in the ancient city, there are some inconveniences, but the expected tour itinerary is also OK. 2️⃣ The location of the hotel is acceptable, very close to the niche attraction Mercury Station, you can go around if you like ancient construction; it is not far from Migong Temple. From the hotel to the ancient city of Xiangyang a little farther than 2 kilometers, if you like to walk, you can walk over, so you can cross the Hanjiang Bridge, the bridge can take the vast river of the Han River, you can see the north wall of the ancient city, and the scenery you see is still very unique. 3️⃣ The overall environment of the hotel has a word to describe it as ”tidal”. The two words describe it as ”literary”. There are cartoons in the lobby outside the door. The lobby is designed as a bookstore. The closets on both sides are full of books. The walls on both sides of the corridor of the guest room are hung with large abstract paintings, and the color is high and cold. Adjacent to the hotel, the hotel is also connected to the supporting restaurant ”three meals for the guests”. Breakfast is served here. The dishes are more focused on snacks and need to be ordered. There are many characteristics such as Xiangyang beef noodles. 4️⃣ The most innovative thing is the room. There is a public door on the ground floor. After entering, there is a lower floor door and a staircase leading to the upper door. The upper room also has its own door. The two rooms have their own shower hygiene area. This is not a loft in the ordinary sense. It is completely a two-story building. So the children are excited after entering, as if they occupy the space that belongs to them alone. 5️⃣ The rooms on the two floors are very large, the bottom 1.8 meters bed, the upper two 1.3 meters single bed, a family of four is wide and wide. The decoration is relatively new, the style is simple and slightly European style. The bedding is very comfortable, especially the quilt is thin and thick, with a smart toilet. The only downside is that the windows on the two floors are relatively small and the location is a bit strange and biased. To sum up, a very novel stay experience, very suitable for children to stay, watching them run up and down happily, instantly relieve fatigue.

The dryer in the laundry room was surprisingly bad. It showed a drying time of over two hours, but after that, it showed another hour or so. I set an alarm to go get the clothes in the early morning, only to find they were still more than 50 minutes away. The clothes were still wet, and the temperature inside was only around 40 degrees Celsius. No wonder it took so long to dry! The laundry room is also in a rather remote location and is small. Coupled with the recent continuous rainy weather in Xiangyang, the dryer's performance was truly disappointing. Upon check-in, the hotel didn't proactively provide slippers or a toothbrush for the child after registering their information. The bath mat next to the bathtub was wet and had some mold. The toilet flush was also very slow; after one flush, there was a long wait before you could flush again. The room provided by the hotel had a great view, but unfortunately, it was foggy. The hotel breakfast was mediocre and not up to par for the price. The location is excellent, though; there are shops and bus stops nearby, making it convenient to get to the ancient street, Gulongzhong, and Xiangyang East Railway Station. Hopefully, the laundry room equipment will be upgraded when I have the opportunity to stay there again.

From check-in to check-out, every detail is satisfactory. The bedding was clean and soft, the bathroom was shiny, and there was no dust in the corner. The front desk also took the initiative to help upgrade the room type, and the experience was full!

There were even welcome fruits, truly making me feel the warmth of the Xiangyang people! I left in a hurry this time, but I'll definitely be back! Honestly, the hotel breakfast was quite average, though everything else was excellent, there's still room for improvement. I hope Xiangyang continues to thrive! And Angela Chang too. It is a very suitable choice for traveling.

The room facilities are all very new and the room area is also very large. I heard that it was just renovated before the New Year. It feels a bit like a creative homestay. I personally like the decoration style. The only thing is that the room still has a strong smell of logs. The two rooms I requested were not arranged next to each other in the end. The housekeeper Zhizhi has a good service attitude. The breakfast is good. There are afternoon tea snacks in each room. Overall, I am satisfied
