Metropolo Hotels in Guiyang

We stayed here for 1 evening as we had an early morning train. It was a little tricky finding the hotel- it’s in a large building that hosts many hotels. They are located on floors 19-25. It’s super convenient to the train station, about 10-15 min walk depending if you have a lot of luggage (across the large square outside the train station and through the underground passage). From the train station, the path is well marked and easy to follow. It’s also well lit at night. While there are plenty of restaurants around this area / hotel, we opted to go downtown for dinner, which was about 5 stops to the heart of the shopping/ eating area of Guiyang. The staff at the hotel were really helpful. Check-in was smooth and fast. At some point on our trip I lost my sun hoodie. They were incredibly helpful by checking their CCTV footage to see if I had brought it to the lobby and left it there by accident as I retraced where I had been. The room itself was really large and comfortable. Overall, for a 1 night stay, if you need to be close to the train station, you’re doing things more on the outskirts of downtown, or if you prefer to stay outside of the city to save a little bit of money, this is a good option.

I had a very pleasant stay at Jinjiang Metropolo Hotel! The facilities of this hotel are very new, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, which made me feel very comfortable. The breakfast provided a wide variety of food, and the taste was very delicious, which gave me a good start. Moreover, the service attitude of the hotel is very good, and the staff are always smiling and willing to help. The surrounding environment is also very clean and tidy, which made me feel very relieved. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay experience, and I highly recommend Jinjiang Metropolo Hotel to other travelers!

A great hotel in every aspect. I drove past Guiyang and it's not far from the highway. It's a chain hotel, less than half the price in Shanghai, but meals are provided from morning to night. The only downside is that there are fields on the side not facing the road, and there are many roosters crowing very early in the morning, which is too noisy.
