Yudong Yayuan Yuexunjia Apartment (Guangzhou Beijing Road Memorial Hall Subway Station) Reviews

We stayed at this apartment for a night during our trip to Guangzhou. The place itself was spacious and came fully equipped with all the basic amenities. The beds were comfortable, which made for a good night's rest. However, we didn’t quite feel the vibe of the place—it felt a bit impersonal and lacked the warmth or charm we experienced in our previous accommodations in Zhangjiajie, Furong Town, and Chongqing. It was also more expensive than those stays, which made the overall value feel a bit off. There was no option to leave our luggage after checkout, which was inconvenient. The refrigerator had a lingering durian smell, which was unpleasant for us, and the location wasn’t ideal for the spots we planned to visit in the city. That said, if you’re simply looking for a clean and spacious place to sleep for the night, the comfortable beds do the job. Just manage your expectations when it comes to service and location.

It’s a nice duplex apartment where you have two separate room. Please be informed one of the room is just can be isolated by the blinds. There’s washing machine + dryer available , you can easily do your laundry and dry it as well. However, during check in pls be informed the receptionist might not be there so you have to wait for a moment. To use the lift going up to your apartment, you need the guard or receptionist help to scan. Other than that everything is good . Pls use D1 exit from Sun Yat Sent Metro to go to the apartment as D2 is a big hassle as u need to cross the overhead bridge and bringing the luggage is seriously not ideal.

Travelled with kids, this room size fits us well. Loft design with bigger bedroom and bathroom on the top floor. Conveniently located near 纪念堂 station, which is just short walk across the road. Daily replacement of towel and amenities. The washer and dryer works perfectly, we wash everyday so pretty much save the hassle of bringing dirty clothes home. The only downside is probably accessing room requiring receptionist help. When the staff is not around, guest will need to wait for him/her to be back which we have experienced once during our stay. Overall, it's still a very good short stay in Guangzhou. Happy to recommend to guests with families

The building is located at a traffic junction and easy to find it, but the Apartment entrance is at the sideways and blocked by trees the Taxi driver dropped off at the back of the building and we have to walk 100m away with 3 luggages and few bags, lucky it was not raining on that day. The Apartment counter is at the lift lobby with a Lady staff, she is nice and helpful and fast check-in, but each time we go up she needs to tap her card to access it. The Apartment has 2 stories with a Big and Clean Living room it looks nice as per the photo shown on the website but the LED TV is too small and not easy to turn it on. The Toilet is Big and with a Washer/Dryer at the dry area. A small Kitchen area with Fridge, Oven and Induction cooker but No cooking pot so we can't cook. The upper floor has 2 rooms but 1 door only, both are clear and comfortable. The problem we faced is the wall socket, our Phone chargers are UK 3-Pin type, we can't charge our phones and the Reception doesn't have the adapter to provide, we tried to buy it in the nearby area but can't find it. The surrounding area has many local foods to eat but not a shopping mall, the train station is 5 mins walking distance. Overall we are happy with the Apartment and service except the Phone charging problems and the 50m walking distance to Lobby. (Can you imagine if you arrived with your family on a rainy day?)

Location was perfect for our needs, mtr station was nearby, didi pickup was possible in front of the hotel. Reception works 24h which was really convenient for me. They don’t speak English, but they are using translator apps so that was enough for us.

Location is perfect . Space is not so spacious . But stuff was friendly . I prefer to stay here .

A little bit to find at first but when we got there everything exceeded expectation.

The rooms was clean and everyday they service the room , because it’s apartment just the reception area is about 2 meter.
