Novotel Guangzhou Baiyun Airport (Terminal) Reviews

Really helpful hotel staff and there is even free bus shuttle from Baiyun Airport to the hotel. The hotel is very near to the airport, walkable in around 15 mins for those who are adventurous. However, if you have luggage, it is better to take the bus shuttle. There are clear signs in the arrival hall to show you where the hotel shuttle is. Breakfast spread is amazing and SUMPTIOUS - from salad bar, yogurt, cheese, bread and bakes section, western, Chinese and even dim sum. They serve coffee such as Americano, Latte, and Cappucino. There are tea bags such as Mint, English breakfast, Earl Grey, etc. All in all, the stay was great, the bed was comfortable, and the amenities are well-kept. Will definitely stay there again when I visit Guangzhou.

Great hotel right outside Terminal 1. I landed at Terminal 2, it's a bit tricky to get there so here's how: 1) Take the Metro 1 stop to "Airport South Terminal 1", 2) I entered the airport, not sure there's any other way, 3) Go up 3 escalators to the departures, 4) Exit the airport through Gate 12 (pic 1). 5) Cross the street, there is a sign for Novotel (pic 2). 6) Walk into the Pullman hotel and go down 2 escalators, 7) when you get to the Pullman lobby, stay inside and hang a left, there will be signs "to Novotel", 8) Walk down a nice hallway (pic 3), when it ends, hang a left then a right to briefly exit the Pullman and walk across to the Novotel, 8) Arrive at the Novotel!

The hotel is located at Terminal 1 of the airport so you will need to make your way via metro (orange line) with only one stop from Terminal 2. Get ready either Alipay or WeChat or cash 2 yuan. (I think you could pay using CC but we didn’t try it.) Look for signs that says Pullman and Novotel. Walk up from the metro. Cross the road and walk into Pullman then ask the concierge or look for Novotel sign. Check in was fast. And you can use their shuttle bus for your trip back to T2 (if in transit).

Overall not bad ~ we reach very late but we still able to find our way to the hotel and there is a clear signboard that guide us from airport to hotel. Very convenient.

Convenient with bus shuttle to n from airports. Surrounding doesn't have any convenience . Have to depend on one cafe restaurant . Suitable for short stay but not for leisure . Business class is good . Toilets are clean . Lol.

Location was convenient as we arrived at Guangzhou early in the morning, and needed a place for a quick rest.

I stayed here to be able to sleep and wait for my other flight. Is right outside the aiport and has a bus to take you to there terminar you need which is very convenient. I recommend it.

Great location! Great bedding! Quiet. Checking in was prompt. As a non smoker, I appreciate the hotel has a no smoking policy unfortunately encountered a cigarette smell in the common corridor. Better enforce is required. The breakfast was a total let down. My experience was bacon soaked in oil, the espresso machine dispense normal coffee other than espresso and the buns were soggy outside and hard in the core. I suggest stay away from the breakfast.

Great location. You can walk to T1 and take Subway to city, very convenience. Also provide pick up and drop off the airport every 30 min. Bathroom has no place to hang bath towel or cloth, have to hang outside. After showering, open the door to grab the towel is cold. Breakfast is ok.
