Echarm Hotels in Guangzhou

Room had stale cigarette smoke smell and felt warm despite adjusting down the aircon temperature. Checked in around 2am and the male reception was unfriendly though the day time female reception was way friendlier and more attentive. To get across to the opposite side of the road, one has to walk a long way to the end of the street to the traffic crossing. Only 1 lift service the entire hotel as it is located within a mixed use development. Shower pressure and hot water is good though.

This hotel is located in a prime location of Guangzhou with the metro and bus station nearby with easy taxi pick up. The room was very clean, and the service was good. However, the breakfast was very Chinese so I’d recommend the McDonald’s next door if you’re a foreigner. The walls are very thin too, you can hear every one near you, which may make it hard to sleep. But the bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious with all needed amenities. It’s good for a solo traveler on a budget.

Facilities: relatively new, the bed is quite comfortable, and the sound insulation is good Hygiene: no hair or anything like that Environment: The inner window room is also quite breathable, facing the patio Service: The front desk has a good attitude and is polite. I stayed here last time I went to Xintang for classes.

The hotel lobby is bright and comfortable. The interior is also very clean. The room is large and the children can run around in it. The sound insulation is also good. My family likes it very much and will come again in the future!

The hotel is in a prime location, the environment is comfortable and warm, the room is clean and tidy, the lighting is warm and bright, there is a desk, and the service is enthusiastic. It was a very satisfying trip. I strongly recommend everyone to stay at Yishang!

Stayed here for 4 nights. Overall the cleanliness is good and location is near to the Shangxijiu Pedestrian Street and close to the MRT station. Like the service here as the staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is good variety for the price

Cleanliness: The room was clean. But our window has graffiti on the outside and the room smelt very bad. Bathroom: The toilet smelt HORRIBLE. The drain smell needs fixing. The rest of the bathroom was good. WiFi: Very good WiFi. Bed: Comfortable and clean. Amenities/surrounding area: Close to Guangzhou South Railway Station, 16 minute walk. Not much else around the hotel but good for one night. Staff/service: The staff were nice. They provided a free shuttle bus to the railway station. Laundry: Wash and dry laundry facilities free of charge on the 4th floor. Space: Spacious room for two people. Noise: Not very well noise insulated rooms, we could hear people next door and in the hallway. Would I recommend? It was okay for one night, but I wouldn’t want to stay any longer due to the drainage smell in the bathroom.

My rating for the facilities is mainly dragged down by the wifi experience. Somehow, for the 1st night I was not able to send whatsapp messages or watch youtube movie even though VPN is on. The 2nd and 3rd night was able to send whatsapp messages but not watch youtube movies (lagged at processing stage), however was able to watch youtube movies on 3rd and 4th morning. The other thing is the (Tianmao?) control, does not respond whatever I press, so was not able to watch TV dramas or movies either. The receptionist was notified of these 2 issues on the 2nd morning and duly noted the issue. Receptionists and breakfast room aunties were friendly. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure is strong so had good showers. Breakfast spread is chinese and sufficient. Plenty of eating places nearby, some even offer discounts for seniors, especially enjoy having HeyTea outlet nearby. Line 2 Shi Er Gong metro station is easily accessible. Overall still a value for money place to stay.

The room is very clean and modern. It is a very new hotel. Superb location. Lots of things to do and super easy to find foods underground. 10 out of 10.

in general , it is a relatively good hotel. Room was clean , no bad smells , clean shower and okeyish water pressure. The staff was very polite and supportive! Internet is ok . Probably not the best window view but considering the area it should be expected . The subway is close to the hotel , but the area itself has nothing to do. Good thing is there are plenty options to order food online.
