Atour Hotels in Guangzhou

It is a very well managed hotel, where you feel very welcome by all staff. I had a river view room, which was beautiful, the room was spacious and clean. I particularly liked their laundry service and free snack in the late evening. There is also a small gym overlooking the river. Great location with some parking, and a great Cantonese restaurant on the lower floors. Starbucks on the ground floor in case you need some coffee.

The hotel was one of the cleanest I've stayed in. Not only does the design of the hotel inside make you feel smoothness, it oozes cleanliness. We liked the hotel so much that we extended our stay at the hotel. The hotel is much cheaper in between phases of the cantonfair (15 April - 5 May or September - October) We stayed for 2 nights initially and then extended for another 2 nights as we were attending the cantonfair. Our initial plan was to change to a hotel close to the fair but this hotel's rooms, ammeninities, breakfast and especially the bed was so comfortable. (FYI you get a memory pillow and a big regular pillow) The hotel is a bit hidden as the name on trip.com is different to what the hotel branded. The hotel name is Atour. I will add a video later on in the comments.

When traveling with children, I expect the room to be clean. Atour has always been very clean and the room is very quiet. The room is also quite big. If we need anything, it will be delivered to us in time. The robot is also great. We don't need to go down to get the takeaway by ourselves. The robot will deliver it to our room. It is still a very satisfactory stay!

We were transiting from GZ south station to go to another location. The hotel is not far from the train station with the short cab ride.  The room is clean and comfortable.  The only complain we have is that there is construction opposite of the hotel, and the construction noise started around 5 am in the morning.

This hotel is really surprising! The price is also very high, it may be just opened for promotion. The front desk lady is warm and welcoming, check-in is fast, and reminds us that breakfast starts at 7 o'clock, and there are many types. The lobby is very comfortable, the sofa is sitting like home, and the decoration style is very relaxing. The gym is large and the facilities are new, all kinds of equipment are available, and the exercise atmosphere is particularly good. The sky garden flowers and plants are neatly trimmed, and there are umbrellas, which are particularly comfortable to sit on. The deep bedding in the room is great, it is very comfortable to lie on, and I sleep well all night!

This is my second stay at this hotel, and I returned because of its cleanliness, comfortable bedding, friendly reception staff, and the convenient free laundry service (staff assist with laundry at no charge). I was especially impressed by the reception team, who went above and beyond to help with my parcel delivery. Another plus is the variety of food options nearby, and it's just a 13-minute walk to the main shopping district, which makes it really convenient. However, one downside this time was that I was given a room facing the road. As a light sleeper, this did affect me, though my friend didn’t have any issues with it. Overall, I'll definitely be returning again.

This hotel is amazing. It’s clean, and the staff are friendly as well. The room was modern. The breakfast was great too. If you can speak English, please contact the General Manager, Trista. She took care of me throughout my stay, even during my business trip to another city. Trista is the best. Some staff members aren’t fluent in English—only a few. So, please look for Trista, the General Manager. Without her help, my entire trip would have been a disaster! She guided me on public transportation, places to visit, food, taxis, and more. She is so wonderful! I strongly recommend this hotel. Because It’s very easy to get there from the airport by Subway Line #3. I took a taxi from the airport to the hotel, but it was expensive—I paid 220 yuan. If you take the subway from the airport, it’s only 8 yuan, and there’s only one line at the airport, so you can’t miss it. No transfers are necessary; it’s a direct ride. 1. Take Subway Line #3 at the airport and get off at ”CANTON TOWER CENTER,” Exit B. 2. Go out at Exit B, walk straight for about 5 minutes, 3. and you will find the ”ATOUR” hotel. The hotel is on the 2nd floor. Take the elevator from the 1st floor to reach the front desk on the 2nd floor. The hotel is the right in front of Canton Tower, so you can see that every night, lol. Please look for Trista, the general manager. She’ll take care of everything you need and help you avoid mistakes. I plan to come back this year because of her! TRISTA, SHE IS THE BEST! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable experience at ATOUR HOTEL Tianhe – service that goes far beyond expectations! My stay at ATOUR HOTEL Tianhe was truly memorable, thanks in large part to the exceptional service from the staff – especially the receptionist Shi Xing. I had already been traveling through China for a few days and, without realizing the scale of the national holiday on May 1st, I ended up booking a train ticket to Guangzhou for that exact day. What I didn’t know was that the entire country comes to a halt during this holiday. My train arrived at midnight, in the middle of heavy rain, and the station was absolutely packed – hundreds of people trying to leave, and no taxis in sight. It was late, I was exhausted, and things were starting to feel hopeless. That’s when I asked some local contacts to call the hotel for help. And that’s when I met Shi Xing, who completely changed my night. As soon as she learned I was stranded at the bus terminal, Shi Xing didn’t hesitate for a second. She left the hotel personally – in the middle of the night, in the rain, during a national holiday – and came to find me with an umbrella in hand. Within 15 minutes, she reached me in the middle of the crowd, greeted me with kindness, and got me safely into a taxi so we could return to the hotel together. It’s something I’ll never forget. In a foreign country, far from home, I was literally rescued by this incredible woman. Her compassion, professionalism, and genuine care went far beyond any expectation. I’ll be forever grateful to her. The hotel itself is excellent – clean, comfortable, well located, and with great amenities. But what truly sets ATOUR HOTEL apart is the human quality of its service. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, and I want to express my deep gratitude to Shi Xing and the entire team. You didn’t just welcome a guest – you became part of a story I’ll carry with me for life.

Upgraded to a higher level room that was available with just a top up of 10rmb. Hotel room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet had a good variety. Enjoyed the dumplings, and century egg and pork porridge. Staff was very friendly and helpful, gave a complimentary bottle of water, and assisted in arranging didi to the railway station on my behalf upon request. Thank you for the hospitality, and will be back next time!
