Muhsin Villa - Galle Fort Reviews

Right in the middle of the Fort so a great location when visiting Galle. Room was pretty small and there was no hot water in the shower. But it was satisfactory for a one night stay.

Really nice little hotel in the middle of Galle Fort. The host was lovely, the location was perfect and the beds were very comfy. Would stay here again

House very centrally located in the old town. Rooms have A/C and private bathroom. There are many cafes, restaurants and galleries just a few meters from the hotel. The bus and train stations are about a 20-minute walk outside the old town. There is a small kitchen in the house for making coffee, tea and almost noodles.

It's very convenient in the ancient city. But the storage capacity of the water heater is too small, and the water is not very hot after washing. The air conditioner in our room didn't cool down, but luckily it wasn't very hot at night. Just turn on the electric fan. There is a coffee corner with self-service hot water and a dining table on the second floor where we can make instant noodles, eat food and play cards, which is quite good. I couldn't find the service staff at the house at night, and there were no tuk-tuk buses at the door, so my child had gastroenteritis and went to the local hospital for injections the next morning. But overall I think the price/performance ratio is okay.

The hotel is in the ancient city The location is very convenient Like all B&Bs converted from ancient buildings, the hotel's hardware facilities will be slightly inferior. But the most unacceptable thing is that the bed has a very strong and pungent smell The smell of cheap and expired essence making it impossible to sleep The smell on the clothes left on the bed was still very strong and pungent after returning home.

In the middle of the ancient city, the location is excellent. But since it is a B&B, the facilities and equipment are not good, the hygiene is average, the services are basically non-existent, and the price is really not expensive!

The hotel is located in the old fortress city. The floors are very high, the rooms are relatively small, and there are many public spaces. There are restaurants and kitchens on the first and second floors, and there is a terrace on the roof where you can enjoy the breeze and drink tea.

This is an amazing family, beautiful villa!! Everything was great! Thank you very much, I thank you very much for your hospitality!

A bit old, basically can't find service staff, overall ok

自助式民宿，本來checkin衹到8點，平時小哥到點就下班了，因為我們到的很晚，路上聯繫後民宿安排了他一直等着，贊一個。特別強調床很舒服，原來擔心古堡裏的房子蚊子多，結果還好，點了些蚊香就基本沒咬到，

房間乾淨舒適，隔音好

We were given an early check in. The host is a nice guy. He said could set up a router for a zoom call I had to make. When wanted I wanted to set it up, he was not to be found. I took care of it using my iphone hotspot. There is no one to address your issues as an when they arise. The room had two beds and no table. Very small room. I paid $55. I don't think this is worth more than $20. He set us up with a tuk tuk driver for Rs 7500 for the evening. The guy gave a good tour, the tour was worth it. The Tours the place promote has no upfront pricing. Does not say what is included in the tour. When you go to places they charge one price for the locals and a much inflated price for the foreigners. Th breakfast is not included, that is fine. They ask $8 per person. There are very nice palaces near by, VOC is one of them.

I had a very pleasant stay. Zaharan was very helpful and made our stay a comfortable on Owners had been living in Galle Fort residence for many decades. It is a well known accomodation and very easy to find.

Family run hotel in a perfect location to explore Galle fort. The hosts were very attentive and gave us recommendations for the area. They helped with printing out documents which was greatly appreciated. Tea, Coffee and filtered water are provided along with a roof terrace. You can also buy gems and jewellery in the reception area. Thank you for hosting us!
