We had a wonderful stay at Casa Vallejo. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The only concern we had was the stairs, but we understand this is typical in a mountainous area like Baguio. Overall, we would definitely consider staying at Casa Vallejo again in the future. đđ„°

My stay at Casa Vallejo Hotel was a mixed bag. On the positive side, the hotel's location is truly a highlight. Situated in a charming area, it offers easy access to local attractions and eateries, making it convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The building itself has a lot of character, with a historic feel that adds to the overall ambiance. Overall, Casa Vallejo Hotel has potential. With some upgrades in terms of Wi-Fi, bathroom maintenance, and latest check-out offerings, it could significantly improve the guest experience. While it's a decent place to stay for a short visit, there's room for growth to make it truly outstanding.

You don't need an ID to check in! The room is compact and simple. The only downside was the water leak in the toilet (it needs to be opened and adjusted carefully to have water and not have it leaked) but everything is fine and clean. Staff are accommodating.

The location is very near SM and other tourist destinations. We enjoyed our stay, meals are very delicious, but the only bad experience we had was the shower took time to be hot. Other than that, we had a great time!

Iâm writing this review to inform future guests of our experience at this Hotel in Baguio. We stayed here in December 2023, choosing this hotel primarily because it offered on-site parking, even though it was a bit pricier than the usual hotels we stay at. Safety was our priority, and we were willing to pay extra for peace of mind. Upon arrival, the staff was friendly and welcoming, helping us with our luggage since there is no elevator and the parking area is in the basement. Check-in was smooth, and personal details were taken for referenceâexcept for the plate number. We chose not to drive during our stay due to the holiday traffic and road closures in the city center. The hotelâs central location allowed us to walk around Baguio conveniently. Our room, which overlooked the parking area, was quiet enough but lacked soundproofing, allowing us to hear noise from nearby establishments. On the morning of checkout, between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m., we heard an alarm that sounded similar to our carâs, but we assumed it was another vehicle since ours hadnât been moved since we arrived. When it came time to leave, I stayed inside the hotel while my husband went to retrieve the car. Oddly, a staff member approached me, stating that the car was ready out front, even though I hadnât mentioned any details about our vehicle. The staff helped load our bags into the car, and we left with a positive impressionâuntil we got home. To our disappointment, we discovered our car was damaged: a scraped fender, a dent, and scratched wheels. We were certain the damage hadnât occurred during the drive home. I immediately contacted the hotel, and they redirected me to the guard on duty. He informed me that a Pajero had triggered an alarm in the parking area but couldnât identify the owner due to a lack of information (as we hadnât been asked for the plate number). The guardâs statement didnât align with the managerâs explanation, and despite the hotelâs promises to look into the matter, we never received a conclusive response. The staff mentioned that CCTV was unavailable due to renovations at the back of the hotelâthough we doubted this explanation. Our visit was supposed to be a relaxing holiday, but the unresolved damage to our vehicle was a major disappointment. It took months to get the repairs done, and weâve since learned some valuable lessons: always inspect your car before leaving any premises, consider a dashcam, and park in areas with CCTV coverage. In summary, while the staffâs hospitality was commendable, the lack of accountability and security left us dissatisfied with our stay. Why share this now? With the holiday season approaching, many tourists and guests will be visiting Baguio and may choose this hotel for their stay or for dining. This review is simply to raise awareness.

Great location! But rooms are TIRED. Its one thing to maintain the integrity of an old building and another to let the place fall apart. Despite the bed being made each day the rest of the room was dirty when we arrived and remained so. No tea bags provided and 2 coffee pods provided on day 1 only - ridiculous and feels they are cutting corners at every chance. In addition, no bulbs in lamps and curtains fell down...way over priced for what it is. As I said location great - and the hill station restaurant on site is also really good (if a tad expensive). But poor old Casa needs some love!

We stayed overnight in this hotel. The staff are very accommodating. We had problems in the ACU and they transferred us ASAP in the other room. When we arrived, they upgraded our accommodation from a standard room to a bigger one. The place is historic. A feeling of living in an old mansion.

Drop down doesnât have Dec 2019 when we actually stayed in Casa Vallejo. It was a family room in the basement. It was quite small and the bathroom was dirty. We stayed for 3 nights. There was one day when the room wasnât cleaned/made up. The lobby smelled of fried bangus. It wasnât pleasant.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel retains the good cabin feels. All rooms now have air-conditioning units. Availed of the 50% off promo and I was worried that will be getting a non-AC room. Recent renovations have been made. Pros: 1. Accessibility Right in front of SM Baguio. Easy to go in and out to get supplies. Session Rd is just nearby. 2. Pet-friendly They charge 500 pesos per pet and per night. Comes with pet bed, potty trainer, and dog bowl. Thereâs a pet shop and grooming service in the parking area. 3. Hot Shower Enjoyed the long bath with the reliable supply and water pressure. 4. Hill Station While not pet friendly (we were asked to leave to dogs in the room), perhaps the best restaurant in Baguio is just downstairs. Cons: 1. Small and Noisy Road-side Rooms While the rooms are small, itâs basically designed just a place to sleep in. It has a study table and the fridge and water are tucked away in the cabinets. Carpeted but clean all throughout. Was expecting the bathroom to be tired and dingy but to my surprise, it was squeaky clean. Avoid the rooms facing the street as it is now sound-proof. Small TV and cable signal fades. 2. Limited Parking Space Since the hotel houses the popular Hill Station, patrons can easily crowd the parking area. Staying here is kinda 50/50 experience and a compromise I must say. Just matter of knowing what you want to prioritize. In my case, convenience, accessibility, and most importantly, pet-friendly. While it was not the most restful stay, Casa Vallejo captures the old Baguio charm. Something the newer hotels wonât be able to replicate.
