This is the best hotel I’ve stay in Sri Lanka. The staffs are really friendly and helpful! The swimming pool is clean, I could saw they clean it up in the morning. They even provide you the towel for swimming. The room is very clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

It's quite standard, the location is a bit remote. When searching for hotels in Galle, this popped up, and Ctrip was impressed. It's close to the train tracks, and there are trains passing by at night, and the key is that they may even blow their horns. You can walk to the beach in a few steps and enjoy the sunset

Stayed for 4 nights. Convenient location 10-15 minutes from the clean beach of Bentota Beach. Small hotel with 6-7 rooms. The first couple of days I was alone in the whole hotel. The room is large, a little worn out, but overall not bad. Administrator Luke promptly resolved everyday issues (no hot water / refrigerator did not work, but everything was quickly resolved). There is a beautiful pool and sun loungers. Nearby are a couple of grocery stores and a couple of local cafes with food. Fruits are expensive, it is better to go further for them. The streetlights along the road do not work. The hotel closes at night at 22:00, probably this is correct for safety reasons. I recommend the hotel.

The hotel is very good, and it is jointly operated by Chinese people. The lady at the front desk is Chinese. They also have dumplings and wontons for breakfast. When you go out, you are right on the deserted beach. I highly recommend it!

Excellent Stay – Worth Every We had a wonderful experience at Mango Tree Villa! This small hotel offers a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, making our stay truly enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable, the service was excellent, and the restaurant food was absolutely delicious. Most importantly, it was totally worth the price we paid—great value for money! I highly recommend this place to everyone and would love to visit again.

A very much needed, chilled out 4 day stay after being in Kandy for a few nights. Beautiful, modern and spacious rooms. Fantastic pool and surrounding gardens. Enjoyed the fresh fruits with breakfast each morning to go with the eggs and sausage! 1 minute walk to the beach. The owner Luke has cultivated a really nice, relaxing and chilled place to unwind. Absolutely loved our stay.

Huge disappointment and unreasonably highly charged! We initially booked the hotel for 3 nights but left after 2 because this place couldn’t be further from a relaxing holiday. Upon arrival, we were offered an 'upgraded' room for an extra charge, and only after agreeing and paying were we casually informed, ‘oh, there’s a train track right behind the fence.’ While a couple of trains a day wouldn't have been a problem, the trains passed every 30-60 minutes, from 6 AM until 10:30 PM. The room itself was decent—spacious and clean—but the constant noise and vibrations made it impossible to sleep. The pool area was poorly maintained, with dirty sunbeds and water full of leaves and bugs—no sign of cleaning. Breakfast was overpriced, with just one slice of cucumber and one slice of tomato on the plate, and the restaurant food was average. The ground-floor room had large windows, and staff constantly walked by, making us feel exposed. When we arrived, four staff members stood around us, watching as we checked in, which was very uncomfortable. Finally, they refused to refund for the third night, claiming it’s their policy, but couldn’t provide any proof—this policy was never mentioned anywhere. They offered a room change, but even 10 more meters wouldn’t have fixed the awful experience from the first night. What this place truly lacks is honest communication and an understanding of guests’ discomforts. Instead of focusing on improving the experience, they seem more interested in overcharging.

A good place for a casual stay. They offer a wide range of room options, and the rooms we booked were clean, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary basic amenities. The staff provided attentive and friendly service. The hotel also has flexible meal options, including local flavors, and I can say the food was good too.

The building with spacious accommodation is located between the main road and the railway line. You can hardly hear the traffic, but you can hear the trains (which also run at night). The kitchen was poorly equipped with dishes (missing dishes were provided upon request). Pots and pans are getting old and should be replaced. The garden and pool were regularly maintained. It is worth mentioning that the hotel lives especially from its good soul, whose name is Mr. Danushka. Mango Tree Villa hotel operator can be proud to have such an ambitious employee on their team. Mr. Danushka's excellent hospitality (for example, it was a matter of course for him to go every extra mile for all guests) made it possible to overlook the annoying things. Mr. Danushka's hard work and friendly manner were outstanding and will be remembered fondly for a long time.

Comfortable stay, we were welcomed by Wasantha who checked us in, with a delicious watermelon juice made by Charana. The room was spacious and clean. Beautiful pool and garden area - towels were supplied. The breakfast cooked by Anuradha was delicious - fruit, toast, eggs, tea and coffee. Great value for a very luxurious stay! We would definitely stay here again!

I would like to single out and thank the guys for their responsiveness and for the great service! The room is clean and modern, the food is very tasty and varied. No need to look for restaurants, everything can be ordered right at the villa! A cute cat runs around the territory :) We left a very good impression! Definitely recommend this place! We stayed for 2 nights but would happily return again!
