I enjoyed my time at the hotel. The service was excellent. The location was in an area with its own charm and close restaurants and bars. But also just a short 10 min. walk to the city centre. The room was quite spacious, clean, and quiet. The only complaint was some AC noise when the terrace door was opened. The bed was very comfortable. Seems like I will never like a hotel pillow, but it wasn't too bad. Breakfast was plentiful enough for me. I think everyone will find something to enjoy.

Really enjoyed our stay. Receptionists were helpful and polite. The rooms were a good size and cleanliness was excellent. Great to have a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Would definitely recommend the terrace restaurant, the food was excellent. zi tried the Tuna poke bowl which was very tasty.

Nice and modern, beautiful pool and rooftop pool

On the whole, it’s a really great hotel at the price. The rooms are spacious and clean.The staff were really helpful in organising things for my partners birthday and really went the extra step to make our trip special. Can’t fault the service. My only gripes are that you can’t set the you can’t set up the aircon yourself in the rooms and the gym is limited.

We didn't like it. It felt like everything was missing. There were no slippers, robes, water (!), 3-in-1 cosmetics, and an empty minibar in the room. For this money, you expect more. I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel. The room with a view of the city overlooked the neighboring hotel Savoy. The view was good, but you couldn't open the window because there were hoods nearby, and the smells of food were drawn into the room. Paid parking - 11 euros/night. Inexpensive, but again, they could have included it in the price for hotel guests. Good roof

The hotel is good, breakfasts are excellent, but there are no consumables in the room, such as tea bags, coffee, dental supplies and slippers. Strange for a hotel of this level and price. The territory is good, several swimming pools including on the roof

The Hotel Next in Funchal on Madeira impresses with its excellent location right on the water. The rooms, although spacious, tend to create a somewhat subdued atmosphere due to their darkness. Nevertheless, the hotel scores with comfortable beds, modern furnishings and attractive bathrooms. The breakfast, served in a kind of canteen, has a limited selection and the quality could be improved. A highlight, however, is the beach club on the water, which, although without a beach, stands out positively with a pool and direct access to the sea via a jetty.
