JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom Hakata Central Reviews

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is linked to an exit of the Hakata metro station. The hotel is comfortable and clean. The bathtub is large enough. The breakfast is very good. We enjoy the stay very much and will definitely stay at the hotel again when we come to Fukuoka next time.

Super convenient- Right across the Hakata train station. However, no proper lobby/ pick up point, so taxi drivers or those driving may be unsure where to stop. Room is ok, hotel breakfast is ok.

Hotel is a well located near the Hakata station, though a bit hidden behind Rakuten building. The hotel can improve on breakfast service, as food were not refilled even though it's more than 30 minutes before the breakfast time ends.

The room we took was very big for Japan standards! Location is truly amazing! It is near all the shopping malls and the main Hakata Station. Food and restaurants can be found everywhere. There's the famous Ichira at Sun Plaza which is just next to the hotel. It's also within walking distance to several popular shrines and shopping malls. They have a laundry room on our floor. Not sure if available on every floor but we had it on our floor. They are very strict with what you throw away though. I think it's because they are usually the last stop for many travelers and alot of people throw away luggage, clothes etc and it makes it inconvenient for the hotel staff.

Good location and lots of great restaurants nearby. Recommended for all kind of tourists.

Beware of the late check out policy. Even asking one hour above 11 am check out time triggers reception to trying to charge you 2500 jpy. And many others hotel in Japan usually have a check out at 12 anyway, and never in my life stay till 12 pm prompted a charge. Location is very nice though. Breakfast is less oriented to western audience, so it might seem quite average.

With a limited supply of triple-bed rooms in town, this hotel became our go-to choice for a total of six nights, including two room transfers due to our booking arrangements. It turned out to be a wise decision. To highlight some experiences: first, the room transfers went smoothly. We needed to switch rooms twice due to our itinerary. We simply left our luggage with the front desk at checkout, and when we returned, our belongings were already in our new room. Secondly, one day I accidentally dropped my room key at a nearby shop. While I was searching through my bag for it, a staff member at the front desk approached me and asked if I was looking for a key. After verifying my room information, she informed me that the shop had called the hotel to return the key. Otherwise, I would have had to pay 100 yen for the lost card, which would have felt quite careless. One downside was the welcome drink—honestly, it wasn’t worth the time. Overall, though, the staff’s friendliness made a positive impression.

It’s my third stay at this hotel ! Its as good and reliable as usual. Quick checkin and friendly staff, generous in amenities to facilitate your stay, and of cos the perfect location right opposite to JR Hakata station.

Location was good, just few steps have a pharmacy shop open until 12am. Cross the trip, will be Hakata station. If I travel to Fukuoka again, we will book this hotel again.
