This hotel is not just old school in its design but also old school in its mindset. Be prepared to be discriminated against by the colour of your skin. The body language and demeanour of the staff is to keep you off. Right from the time we arrived to the time we left( a family of four in two rooms) we were made to feel unwelcome. The property was hosting a bunch of French vintage rally drivers who seem to be the first class customers and we the havenots having paid the room tariffs. It started with we being asked to park at the rear of the building although there was ample parking space in the front. The people in the bar even told us that they don’t serve any food until we protested as there are no eateries close by at 8 pm unless you drove 2 miles to Fort William.Breakfast was another torture with even coffee not replenished in time. All in all a black spot in an otherwise lovely Scottish holiday.

The building and the furniture are very old. The choices of the buffet breakfast are limited.

I really like this hotel. The view is amazing, and the reception is very friendly. They also have a restaurant and bar downstairs, which is really a saver for us after a long day of driving.

The hotel infrastructure is not friendly to travelers with large suitcases. The facilities and decoration in the hotel are a bit old, but combined with the price, it is very cost-effective. The location is still about 15 minutes' drive from the town, and there is a lake view outside the hotel. You must have breakfast. The breakfast is rich in dishes, replenished in a timely manner, and has a beautiful view outside the floor-to-ceiling windows! Big push

It is located next to the road beside Loch Ness. There are many cars. You can enjoy the mountains and lakes at dusk and morning. The air is fresh and comfortable. However, it is far from the city and you need to take a taxi. However, it is convenient, the service is good, and the breakfast is delicious. The floor will be noisy, the water pressure is insufficient, the shower water is very small and needs to be improved!

The environment is very good, the location is easy to find, right by the lake, and the breakfast is a typical English breakfast. It is only three or four kilometers away from the city center, and it takes about ten minutes to drive there. It is very convenient and a good choice for a trip to the Highlands.

Except for the good location, the rest of the hotel is unqualified because the facilities are dilapidated, the room cleanliness is poor, the bathroom toilet and ventilation are poor, and the price/performance ratio is extremely low. I would not recommend renting it.
