The room is relatively clean, with complete facilities and Italian đŽđš decoration style; the location is excellent, in the city center, and it is easy to walk to the main attractions of the city; the safety factor is relatively high, and the service attitude of the staff is relatively good; a small episode: I donât know why the lights suddenly went out at night, and the hotel staff handled it immediately after informing them. Traveled to Florence before COVID and stayed here I came back to Florence this year to travel again and had to book this hotel again.
Great location, service and the room condition were great. I traveled alone and they assigned me to a single room that is located right next to the emergency exit in the beginning. And it was really loud since people were coming in and out. I asked the reception to change the room and they assigned me to cleaner and quieter single room. Very much appreciated.

A very updated hotel with a unique shower as shown in picture. It is conveniently located. Outside our room was a view of the tram station. We did not take it because the hotel is just a 10 minute walk to the city centre. We loved the breakfast as there was a pancake making machine.

This trip to Italy, Florence this hotel is the most satisfying, cost-effective, good service environment, beautiful and big room; the location is invincible, opposite LV and Cadier, 6 minutes walk to the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Flowers, 15 minutes walk to the Uffizi Museum. Five minutes walk, there is the best Hunan restaurant in Florence called âMaster Baâ. The room will be cleaned twice a day and changed towels. We stayed for three nights, every day, every night to make the turndown. If the only fly in the ointment is that the breakfast is not too in line with our taste, but this is not important for breakfast to choose to go out to the coffee shop. The picture is all the hotel photos I took. I have to mention that the flowers in the room are all flowers...

I stayed for a few days and was most satisfied with the restaurant service. I was impressed by the superb working ability of the female supervisor, who was very efficient. What was valuable was that she could do it herself and was very skillful.
The room service was a little regrettable. After staying for one day, they did not prepare water for cleaning. The bathroom had a little smell of sewer. It was not a big problem if the door was closed. In addition, I heard the vigorous work outside the door early in the morning every day. Don't you consider the feelings of the guests? It would be better if they were a little gentler.
As for the location, it is quite close to the train station, but it still takes 20 minutes to walk to the main scenic spotsâŹď¸.

The room is super clean. Although it is a historic hotel, it is well maintained. Guests can enjoy two hours of hot springs every day, but the water temperature is not high, about 33 degrees, not the kind of hot springs. The breakfast is delicious. There is also a Michelin 2-star restaurant in the hotel, which can be reserved when booking. You can walk to the left and right attractions within ten minutes, highly recommended!

The room is very high with a big window and a nice view. The room is also quite big and clean. The hotel service is also very good. MMarcos 305Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible.
Check-in & First Impressions
The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and itâs important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect.
One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues.
Room & Comfort
I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning.
The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily.
One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets.
Breakfast Experience
The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right.
The Villaâs Atmosphere & Location
The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. Itâs also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city.
One Minor Issue
The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable.
Final Thoughts
Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive.
Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karenâs service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

The only time you feel you are welcome was you booked tours through them. The breakfast room is small and in the basement. There is no view throughout the whole hotel.

KKalimâs worldThis is a good place to take care of your camera before you stay. You'll have to press the shutters from the sculpture behind the front desk, the small garden in the center of the hotel, to the interior of the restaurant where you can read magazines and newspapers. There is also Sky Juice (Lemon Water), which is provided for free in front of the elevator. It's a little ambiguous whether the small bar is a place to drink coffee or enjoy cocktails, but the atmosphere is still good. The pillow is impressive in the room. Let's not expect much space. We offer free drinks on the first day, but we didn't get free drinks every day just because we stayed for three consecutive days. Sensitive people will feel the floor is uneven. If you drop something on the floor, it will keep rolling in one direction. So the doors don't exactly engage. Windows have to be lucky to open. Unfortunately, I didn't see the garden but only the wall. The bathroom gives the impression of making the most of the space, and the shower and shower booth are factors that negatively affect the hotel. Since the front desk is not looking at the front door, you will have to look around to be welcomed. You can't control the heating at will in the room. If it's cold, you have to call the front desk, and you should be lucky to use hot water early in the morning. The inside is more beautiful than the outside, but not everyone is the best.

There was also no heating system. However, its location was excellent for visiting Florence's historical and natural attractions.

The room is spacious, with good natural light, double glazed windows and good ventilation/air con/heating. Toilet with stand shower is of a good size as well, not too small and cramped.
Hotel location is super close to the central station in Florence, around 5 mins walk only to it, which is very ideal for travellers arriving into Florence by rail.
It's slow walkable to pretty much all attractions (within 15-25 mins), so is a good place to base yourself in for a short stay.
Similar to many hotels in Italy, there are a few steps at the entrance but there is a lift to get you up to your room.
Check-in process is smooth and complimentary breakfast is decent. I especially love the coffee and jucie machine and pancakes offered. It'd be great if besides scrambled eggs, some kind of breakfast meats like sausages can also be offered. They do have some basic cold cuts and cheese and ham as well, yogurt, and cornflakes, it's a more diverse continental breakfast, which is great for a 3 Star Hotel.
As the hotel is very close to the Train Station, you do hear trains / trams passing through from the streets, but the noise level is acceptable with the double glazed windows' insulation.
I would recommend this hotel for solo travellers.

GGuest UserMy sonâs flight on the second day after school ended, and I helped him temporarily book a hotel for one night. The main reason for choosing this hotel is that it is very close to his previous schoolâs apartment, about 2-3 minutesâ walk away. The hotel is in a good location in the city center and has an elevator. (My son has three suitcases, big and small) đThe service attitude of the staff at the front desk is also very nice. Itâs just that the hotel is a bit old, but hotels in Florence are all old, right?
