1- No reception be careful about getting the entry codes The description says 24h reception so I was relaxed thinking all would go smoothly when we arrived around 22h in the evening. THERE IS NO RECEPTION! It is all online and you receive a code supposedly, but I checked my email multiple times and didn't receive any code. No signage about where the entrance was, I called the numbers provided on trip.com...no reply. Finally the number on the official website allowed me to message someone through WhatsApp and get the entry codes. The whole ordeal took 30-45min at 22h in the evening. 2-The staff is super nice The next morning there was a lady preparing breakfast and doing the check out and she was super great and very kind. the staff is great 3-breakfast No words can describe how beautiful and tasty this breakfast selection is. It's worth it to stay here just for the breakfast really. 4-room Big and clean shower room, very large and comfy bed. I couldn't however open the closed to use the hangers (old furniture) and the available drawers were dusty, so impossible to put clothes inside

However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

The location is good, you can reach many famous attractions on foot, and there are some choices for free breakfast. It is suitable for travelers who like to find a different accommodation experience. The interior of the room is also unique.

This is a wonderful hotel! The female staff is very friendly and has a lovely smile! She also kindly gave me directions to the station! The cheese at breakfast is delicious!

The waiters are kind, the rooms are well-equipped, clean, and the surrounding environment is beautiful. It's close to the train station and attractions. You can walk there. It's a very satisfying experience.

It's okay, but there is no check-in time and it costs 19 euros to check in.

It is equivalent to a B&B in China. The owner buys the villa and turns it into rooms and uses it as a hotel. The facilities and services are far inferior to those of a hotel. The location is not as convenient as the introduction. It really took a long time to walk from the train station. Later we simply took a taxi. There is no front desk and no service staff. The only Vietnamese lady is Ruoying Ruoxian. It depends on luck to meet her on the first day we checked in. Since there is no front desk, we can’t even call the door and ring the doorbell at the beginning when we enter the villa. In the end, it doesn’t work. They just happened to be out and we walked in very passively. The room is not as good as the photos. The facilities are old and the toilet space is relatively large. The only bright spot. The security of the villa is good, but when you need help, you won't get any response at all. All in all, I really don’t recommend staying here

Worst access

I didn't tell you the specific address and hotel door password before checking in, so it took me a long time to find it. The phone calls were very aggressive and the room arrangement was wrong.

Service and facilities are very good

Awesome place, really enjoyed the room! A little tricky getting in so just read the information that is sent prior to arriving. Awesome location with a lot of restaurants and sights to be seen close and even though some are a brief walk away you get to enjoy the streets. has parking if need on site.

Kathy and Alice took exceptional care of us during our stay. Kathy was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. The property is well maintained and so complementary breakfast was great. The pool is a nice bonus. Walking distance to the city centre.
