The Hotel is good for solo travel

Yew Hotel is a nice quiet hotel at the end of the town. You can walk to the town for shopping. I would stay here again.

We stayed at Yew Boutique Hotel in Teluk Intan during our family trip (Cuti-Cuti Malaysia). The location of the hotel is excellent—right across from a famous wantan mee restaurant and just a street away from the most well-known chee cheong fun spot in Teluk Intan. The family room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for two adults and a 9-year-old child. The overall experience was good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. It’s a great choice for anyone visiting Teluk Intan.

The WiFi did not work during our stay. The room was fairly clean.

Hotel staff are very polite & friendly as Specially Ms. Maria and the rooms are specious and clean. ample car parking the property as lift. Convenien for elderly person. I would like to recommend this hotel for friends and family Best Regards Shaan Kanda.

The location of the hotel was ideal as it was nearby to the places and restaurants that me any my family wanted to visit and wanted to dine in. Also like the layout of the room as it was good for a family of three. The price of the room was also reasonable since due to the hotel's location. Didn't really like the layout of the bathroom as the shower area will wet the toilet seat and also the other part of the hotel. Cleanliness in the bathroom could also be improved as well as there were some water marks on the mirror and also the toilet door inside the toilet area was not really cleaned properly. Had issue with the hairdryer as well as there was a defect with the hairdryer that caused it to emit smoke smell from the hairdryer & had to get it replaced with another one.

Room is comfortable. Floor is well swept and clean. The Deluxe King room offers ample room space. Toiletries include toothbrush, toothpaste & slippers in addition to the usual bar soap, liquid wash & shower cap. Location is excellent, right in the centre of city, with easy and fast access to most places of interest. Some places such as the Leaning Tower & Firefly Cruise are within walking distance too. Ample free parking spaces right at the hotel entrance. Staffs are friendly. This hotel is highly recommended.

We stayed in a Family Queen room (1 queen bed and 1 single bed) with big window for one night. The check-in and check-out process were smooth. A refundable room deposit of RM50 is required. The room was spacious for the three of us. There is a lift to access higher floors. A cafe, gaming corner, and a gift shop are situated in the lobby. Snacks may be purchased at the reception counter. Room amenities include two complimentary bottle water (though is a room for three), tea/coffee making facilities, television (20 channels), writing desk and chair, cloth hanging area next to waist-length mirror and hair dryer. The ensuite bathroom consists of a washing basin, hot/cold standing shower, toilet, half-body length mirror, body towel, toiletries such as bath gel, shampoo gel, tooth brush and tooth paste. The reason for choosing this hotel is its strategic location. It is located near to the places we wanted to visit. There is an on-site parking area for guests. I was worried to get a dusty room after reading some negative reviews. However, our room was clean and tidy. With the price we paid, we thought it was a good deal.
