We were given a 3 bedroom on level 2, with the rain upon us and no lift, we struggled up the steps with our luggages. The rooms are clean and kitchen well equipped. But as there were 7 of us, one of us ended up sleeping in the sofa bed at the lounge. Only problem is there was only 1 toilet and 1 shower room. I was told that all the apartment comes with 1 toilet so no choice. There were heaters so all of us have a good night's rest.

The location is handy from the city and University of Otago. We arrived late at 9:30pm. We called the reception and they were waiting for us. The amenities are sufficient and clean. The only draw back was the electric blanket was not working.

This hotel is run by a guy from Northeast China who is very nice. We originally had a room on the second floor, but they upgraded us to a room on the first floor for free, so we didn’t have to carry our luggage. We were also given a map and introduced interesting places nearby. The delicious food gave me a very good impression of Dunedin. I was very lucky to meet my compatriots when I went out. The hotel is in a good location, and I can walk to the museum and the University of Otago. Highly recommended~
