If you are travelling with an elderly like me, good to check out which rooms to avoid stairs. We were lucky to be upgraded to the suite, which came with a beautiful view. However, there was a flight of stairs. The lobby staff can buggy you up, then you can. climb down instead of up the stairs. A premier location which costs much more. If you just need a simple clean place to stay, in order to catch the sunrise, there are many more affordable choices just next to this hotel.

I decided to come to Yubeng on a whim and found accommodation the same day. I decided to stay at this hotel after seeing someone recommend it on Bilibili. It's located in Shangyubeng Village (emphasize here). Because the scenery here is unbeatable, the corresponding location is relatively high in Shangyubeng. You must take a pickup truck from Xiayubeng (60/person), otherwise you will be like me, walking for an hour and want to die. Be sure to add my contact information and I will show you the way. The price is right in the off-season, and the room is upgraded for free, and a gift package and fruits are given. There is also mineral water in the room, which seems to be not provided in some places in Yubeng. The room is very warm and even a little hot in November. The view is very good, with snow-capped mountains and Xiayubeng right in front of the window. You can get up at five in the morning and take pictures of the starry sky in the room or on the terrace. I was lucky this time and saw a shooting star. In the morning, I took pictures of the Sun Shining over the Golden Mountain, and made sure to take pictures of the mountains on the right. I have no experience in time-lapse photography, so I took pictures facing them, and maybe because of the angle, I didn't feel the Sun Shining over the Golden Mountain. Finally, I would like to give a small suggestion. Generally, guests who come to stay here need to eat, especially those who are tired and hungry after walking all day. Because I saw that every inn has food, I arrived at night exhausted and wanted to eat, but I was told that I needed to make a reservation. Now there is no food available. I was almost desperate at that time and didn't want to walk a step. Since I already have contact information, it is best to ask the guests if they need to eat.

The room was clean and tidy, with good water pressure, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a viewing platform. Of course, I came here just for the delicious food. I ordered dishes as soon as I arrived. The boiled beef was served and the smell was delicious without using chopsticks. The beef was very tender. The chili was very fragrant but not very spicy. It also took care of those who can't eat spicy food. I later added vegetables that were grown by the owner himself and tasted very fresh. The mapo tofu was really yyds. Use a spoon! Use a spoon! Use a spoon! It was so tender that it broke when the chopsticks were picked up. The stir-fried meat with black fungus was also great. The braised meat in the beef noodles was really delicious. The feeling after eating was that the cooking skills were really good. We didn't need to recommend any dishes after eating. I also know how to cook a little bit. Although I'm not a professional, I can see that the boss's cooking method is still very delicate. Here I mean that a lot of technical equipment is used to process the ingredients. In short, it's really great. In addition, on the menu of Yubeng with such good taste, ordinary dishes are only 38-68 average, which is really cost-effective, especially their portions are not discounted. By the way, there is a small heater under the dining table hahaha, and the hiking pole is only 5 yuan/day. The perfect journey memory has come to an end. The location is in Zhongyubeng. The scenery is excellent. You can clearly see the Goddess Peak, Wuguan Peak, and Jiangjun Peak. The dinner is also good. Unfortunately, the equipment is old and there are too many sundries piled next to the inn. The boss is quite kind.

This room and service must be greatly praised! First of all, the ladies at the front desk were very enthusiastic about picking up the suitcases. They gave detailed briefings, bright smiles, and enthusiasm from the heart. The service was excellent and at a five-star level. The room is large and gorgeous, and the floor heating is very powerful. As soon as you open it, you can see the snow-capped mountain peaks, which is simply invincible. They provide bedtime desserts in the evening, which is very heartwarming. What's even more touching is that the sunrise time has been printed out every day, 365 days a year, and placed on the table for guests' reference. What I want to mention is the observation deck on the rooftop, which is a perfect place to take photos of the golden mountains in the sunshine. Not only can you have a clear view, but you don’t have to compete with others. All in all, these hundreds of dollars are well spent! Very satisfied.

Before booking, I hesitated for a long time between Meili Songzan and going down the mountain. In the end, I chose to go down the mountain. I made the right choice and was very satisfied with the stay. The hotel service is excellent. I personally think it is better than Shangri-La Songzan Linka. The room was upgraded for me. There is diffuse oxygen supply in the room, cotton towels and disposable bathtub sets are provided in the bathroom, and the drinks in the refrigerator are also very attentive. The good night dessert is very sincere. A heater is provided for fear of cold. The restaurant cooperating with the hotel is delicious. The view from the observation deck on the fourth floor is amazing, facing Meili Snow Mountain. The staff at the bar are very enthusiastic at night. The staff will use astronomical telescopes to observe the stars at night. I saw Saturn for the first time. In the morning, ginger tea and black tea will be provided at the observation deck, and a mobile phone holder will also be provided. Although I didn’t see the sunrise on Jinshan this time, it was still a very satisfactory stay and I will come again. Finally, a collection of snow mountain poems was given when I checked out. The only regret is that the hot water in the bathroom is not fast enough or hot enough.

Yourland Hotel is run and operated by a very hard working lady who essentially does everything herself - from welcoming guests, cooking breakfast, cleaning the rooms and washing the bed sheets & laundry. The rooms are very clean and neatly organised, it has all the comforts that any hiker should need in such a remote location that is high up in the mountains (e.g. electric blankets, warm showers, etc.) Please do note that the warm water does need sometime to reheat especially if another guest takes a shower right away after the first guest. It will not be sufficient time for the water heating machine to heat the water. You should take note of the number that is displayed on the water heater. By default in our room, it showed the number of 44 and after the first guest took the shower, it went down to 19. If someone takes a shower right away at that moment, it will be cold so the next person should wait a bit until the number displayed moves up. The views in the morning are amazing as you can see the mountain ranges on three different sides so you get a very good panoramic view from the terrace of the hotel. After a long day of hiking, our moods were lightened up when we were welcomed by the friendly and playful Labrador Retriever whose name is Dou Dou. Such a lovely dog ＜3. I would recommend you to stay here if you are looking for a place to stay in Upper Yubeng, it's good base for your planned hikes to the Glacier Lake and Nise Ranch. The place might be a bit difficult to locate if you arrive in Yubeng late at night (like we did since we walked all the way from Ninong, which was really tiring), but once you get the gist of it, it's very easy to remember and locate.
