Friendly staff. Nice sauna area with relaxation room and showers. Large breakfast room. Nice separate restaurant. Price/performance: too high price for the room. No radio or Bluetooth speaker in the room. I missed that. There are nice designer radios and speakers that would fit in the room, such as "Ruark Audio".

If 'Good' was an option, this would have been my rating for this place. It's up quite a hill from the town and the ski lifts, and I certainly felt that carrying my skis and poles etc. back each evening, but there are options to pay to leave your things with other businesses near the ski lifts so you don't have to carry your equipment up and down each day. Rooms were pretty basic but clean and provided what you need, and there's a hotel sauna which you can use after a day on the slopes. Breakfast was a basic buffet. Hotel had a place you can leave your skis and boots overnight in the basement.

Nice hotel with great service incl. breakfast, ski passes, Davos Card (free public transportation) and ski shuttle. Located 5 mins by walk from Davos Platz, Promenade and connecting buses within the all Klosters area. Train station and Jakobshorn accessible with ease as well. Family room is perfectly sufficient for 4 persons, providing everything you need for comfy stay and sleep. Overall really the great value for money ratio, happy to come back again …

We paid close on $450 per night for what was termed a 'suite' but was a small family room. It just succeed getting two adults and three under five (5 3 and 1)into it it with a flimsy curtain pulled half way across the room. Had it had a decent bathroom and not a small shower and not even enough room for two people it might have just improved matters. No fridge, storage space just about adequate.TV but no channel explanation of channels. Wafer thin walls allowing one to hear all grunts and noises next door. The booking res team were very friendly and helpful. My fear is that they do not see the hotel as it is. The breakfast room team were very efficient and helpful dealing with us and the children. One hot dish was a rather mediocre scrambled egg each day overcooked. Reception staff let the place down except for one bright cheerful light Janice who had been there for four weeks. bundles of enthusiasm and helpful. The others were irritable impatient and everything was a monumental effort. Ski room was good. Resto next door not theirs but good standard. underwhelming....

Friendly and helpful reception. Room with good and all-you-need 3 *** standard. Skiers breakfast with regional products (very positive: breakfast available from 7 - 11 am. Sauna included (towels and bathrobes free). Inhouse Restaurant with swiss-italian-international menu.

Our room was very small and had no view, but was blocked by a wall only about two meters in front of the window. The breakfast was very simple with no fresh fruit. Lady at the reception was not friendly at all, when we asked if we could change rooms.

We stayed two nights „double superior“. Room and bathroom too small, beds uncomfortable. Off season service very limited - bar and Restaurant still closed, early info about the limited service would have been appreciated. Reception staff not too informative, no one answering the phone… in the room mineral water not refilled for the second day, breakfast simple but fresh, and coffee was good. The location is conveniently located off the main road near the Schatzalp funicular.

Experience absolutely awful, I was supposed to stay in this hotel 4 nights, and because about the fact that my son was sick, I couldn't go on this hotel, I cancelled my staying from *********** before the beginning of my staying ( so they could rent again my room ). Even I knew before that the conditions couldn't allow me to be refund ( but its can be make from the hotel if they want ) I wrote them email in order to explain the situation and I was ready ( in order to show my understanding ) to be refund only one night on the 4 I nights I booked !!! But I was expecting a commercial good way of attitude from them...I cancelled 2 or 3 times in my life with identical conditions and always the hotel made something toward me...The STRELA hotel is gready, unfair and they talked to me very very rude at the phone...Frankly, you can count on me for make your advertising around me...really bad experience, rude staff...Believe me, you didn't earn what you didn't want to refund me…Poor

Good hotel but located uphill from station and centre of Davos Platz which makes accessibility dragging a case tricky. We had a room on first floor at the rear with a view of a road and stone wall opposite. Compact but clean and functional and the shower was powerful. Good service from reception staff and breakfasts were adequate continental plus eggs. Unlike many Swiss hotels they serve English traditional tea, which is a bonus. The hotel gives guests a local transport card which gives free travel on buses and local trains and a discount on funiculars. The adjacent restaurant serves good food but drinks are expensive, par for the course in Switzerland I suppose, and I grumbled at being charged four francs for a litre jug of tap water. Davos is famous for the World Economic Forum, but is not really a summer resort and it’s a pity on our Great Rail Journey they couldn’t have booked us into a hotel in Chur, from where numerous attractions are easily accessible.

Wir waren in einer 8er-Gruppe. Das Hotel entsprach voll unseren Erwartungen. Besonders lobenswert war die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Ein Check-In und Check-Out in so einer Freundlichkeit macht den Urlaub gleich nochmal schöner. Die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern und auch im sonstigen Bereich trug ebenfalls zum schönen Urlaub bei. Und extra erwähnenswert: Der After-Service: Das Nachsenden eines vergessenen Teils sofort, in aller Freundlichkeit und sogar mit extra Rückruf. Zum erstenmal so erlebt; dickes Kompliment!

Le camere sono pulite e la maggior parte con balcone. Sono presenti 2 saune (una finlandese a 90° e un'altra a 60°) con piccola zona relax. La colazione e a buffet e variata. Per sciare zona Jakobshorn l'hotel organizza un servizio di bus navetta ogni 15 minuti ca. Per sciare zona Parsenn nella via principale c'è un bus e in 5 minuti si arriva alla partenza degli impianti. Bus gratuiti. parcheggio a pagamento presso l'hotel.

Mein Aufenthalt im Hotel Strela in Davos war super. Das Personal an der Reception kompetent und unkompliziert. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit schönem Ambiente, reichlich Platz, und bequemen Bett. Grosse Dusche im neuen Bad. Ich würde hier jederzeit wieder buchen. Vielen Dank!

Zimmer war von der Größe in Ordnung, allerdings sehr laut und auch dreckig. Nach Anmerkung des dreckigen Zimmers wurde es trotzdem nicht ausreichend gereinigt. Es lagen viele Haare auf dem Boden und Tiere krabbelten durch das Zimmer. Das Frühstück ist nicht zu empfehlen, keine Auswahl an verschiedenen Brötchen welche schon um 8Uhr morgens weich und wie Gummi waren. Laut Beschreibung ist es für Sportler geeignet jedoch gab es nur zwei drei Äpfel an Obst. Im Großen und Ganzen keine sauberen Zimmer, Frühstück schmeckt nicht und kein Personal über Nacht/ abends an der Rezeption. Nicht zu empfehlen!
