Very good location, at a walking distance from Old town, we felt super safe and comfortable here! Staff: definitely the top reason to stay here, they made our stay unforgettable and went the extra mile to help us out organize our excursions, thanks for everything! Room: superb, clean, spacious, good bed, great! Top Breakfast. The picture was taken from the dining room, so those are the views from some rooms.

The hotel is situated not far from the old walled town and equal distance to the shopping area. Formerly a Holiday Inn now independent. The rooms are large and comfortable with good work desk and wifi. Comfortable bed gives good rest. The fridge had been removed but there is kettle and plenty of water, every day some fruit was delivered to the room which I appreciated. Hotel has gym, swimming pool and two restaurant, given the price it was very good value for money and I would happily stay again.

Spacious room, clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were more than adequate with a choice of varieties. Hotel location was ok just outside the wall though neighbouring shops were all shuttered. Taxis plentiful and inexpensive. Nightly dinner was at the hotel restaurant - good food, surprisingly very affordable prices and extremely good services from the staff. What stood out most were the very helpful, cheerful staff, at the front desk, restaurants, and cleaners!

The room is spacious, bright and clean. This time it is not as warm as the last time. I hope it will be warmer in winter because Datong is too cold. The front desk was not as enthusiastic as last time.

It takes 5-6 hours to take the high-speed train from Datong to Zhengzhou, so I decided to leave by plane with my classmates. My husband stayed one more night so that he could go to the Coal Mine Park to experience and learn about the Datong mining area. Thank you to the front desk staff for helping to take care of my husband and providing high-speed train service. Thank you 🙏! My husband returned to Zhengzhou Hotel tonight and kept mentioning that the facilities at North-South LOFT Hotel are really smart and advanced! It is definitely worth looking forward to traveling to Datong again and staying at the LOFT Hotel!

Hilton Garden Inn is quite satisfactory, with a good environment and good hygiene. The most important thing is that the service is good and responsive. Breakfast is a combination of Chinese and Western, and the knife-cut noodles cannot be missed. Thanks to Xiao He from the hotel for his enthusiastic service. It is a bit regretful that I did not eat in the Chinese restaurant

We were warmly greeted by friendly staff upon arrival, making us feel welcome right away. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the team went the extra mile to help us register on their app as we are foreigners, ensuring we could easily access Wi-Fi and contact them if needed. We had called ahead to request a humidifier and air purifier, and were pleased to find them already prepared in our room when we checked in. The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the inclusion of an electric toilet with a heated seat was a thoughtful touch, especially during the winter season. Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered was genuinely helpful and sincere in their service, always making sure we were well taken care of. We initially planned to stay from 6/12/24 to 8/12/24 but felt so at home that we decided to extend our stay for an additional two days. A big thank you to the team at Mecure Hotel for their exceptional service and attention to detail. Me and my Husband had agreed this is best hotel in our 17 days China trip. We had a fantastic stay and look forward to returning in the future. Great job!

The hotel is in a good location, not far from the highway and Datong South Station. It has its own parking lot, which is convenient for self-driving. It is also next to Wanda Plaza, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. The front desk reception is polite and enthusiastic. The room size is good, the bedding and bathroom are neat and clean, and fruit was delivered the next day. The hotel also has services such as night beds. Breakfast can be paid by credit card. There are local specialty noodles and mutton offal. The coffee is freshly ground coffee, and the beans are of good quality. There are many types of Western pastries. I tried a matcha cup, which feels like it is made by the store's own chef, which is very good. It feels like a store that can meet both business and tourism needs.

We stayed at Datong Hotel during our four-day, three-night trip to Datong. The room was clean and well-equipped. It was a cold snap, and the central air conditioning and heating were great. The service lady was nice and attentive. I was very satisfied overall.

As a practitioner in the same industry, I must give this hotel a big thumbs up! The room is very cozy and the details are carefully designed - considerate reminder signs, reasonable layout, and the dry and wet separation design of the washroom is so convenient! The room is clean and tidy, and the tea sets are all available, especially the large floor-to-ceiling windows, which are excellent for lighting and make you feel comfortable~ The location is also amazing, only 4 minutes drive from the high-speed rail station, and parking is super convenient! The front desk lady is gentle and considerate, and the service experience is full~ This time I left in a hurry and didn’t have time to taste breakfast, which is the biggest regret! I will come again! Foot bath bucket (including disposable foot bath bag): It is recommended to be equipped with a foot bath bag!
