I came to Datong to watch a concert and chose a niche brand that I had never stayed at before. Because it was also a chain brand owned by a group, I felt it was safe. It was actually better than expected.

來大同旅遊，選擇了這家萬信至格酒店，真的非常棒。新開的酒店乾淨衞生，乾濕分離，花灑及水温超級給力，遊玩回來洗個熱水澡，簡直舒服極了，特別是衞生間很大，可以放很多化粧品，媳婦特別喜歡。其他各種配件齊全，智能馬桶，小度，前台及工作人員都非常熱情，還送了入住伴手禮，房間的飲料都市免費的。酒店地理位置優越，去雲崗石窟，大同博物館，及古城牆都非常方便。特別是有自己停車場，放在院子裏非常安全，而且酒店的早餐也聽豐富的，還有機器人送餐。健身館、洗衣房都有。值得推薦給來大同旅遊的朋友們。

This year, I chose Datong to celebrate the Spring Festival. I chose Hualu Hotel completely blindly. I read a lot of reviews and finally chose Hualu. It can be said that everything from hardware to service exceeded my expectations. It is above the four-star level. The lobby, corridors and rooms are all exquisitely designed and decorated. There is also a fragrance system, which is fresh and elegant. During the Spring Festival, the door of the room was also pasted with the word ”Fu” and the window was pasted with window paper-cuts.
Because there are two adults and two children, we booked two rooms. The hotel thoughtfully arranged a connecting room with a large bed and a standard room. The family actually lived together without affecting each other, which was still very comfortable. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but they are all very delicate, and the ingredients and taste are very good.
On New Year's Eve, the hotel also sent dumplings. For people in Northeast China, it is very important to eat dumplings to welcome the God of Wealth before the bell rings at midnight. It is a custom engraved in the bones. I think I didn't miss the dumplings on the night of the 30th in the UK, so I am very grateful for the hotel's thoughtful arrangement.

The few days I stayed in Datong were the most comfortable days I stayed in during my whole trip to Shanxi. For me, who is a germaphobe, the Hualu Hotel is completely up to standard. Everything from toiletries to in-house facilities are high-end, far beyond five-star. The only shortcoming is the breakfast, which needs to be improved~

GGuest UserExcellent hostel. Comfy capsules, hot showers, washing machine (costs to use but I'm not sure how much), excellent value. Easy to get to from train stations as long as you use a bus (use baidu maps 百度地图 to find routes and I swapped a stack of 1 yuan notes to pay for the buses as the Alipay bus card doesnt work for foreigners in Datong). The location is difficult to find but if you get to the rough location then locals are very happy to point you the right direction. You then text the owner who remotely let's you in.
