This time I brought my parents to Datong for a trip. We had a lot of fun, and most of it was given by Jianguo Puyin (Yongtai Branch)! I chose this hotel based on the good reviews on Ctrip before coming here (Ctrip's rating is the first). It really exceeded my expectations. It was great~ We booked a triple room, which was super large and had new facilities~ The main thing was that the service was amazing~ 1. The hotel provides free high-speed rail pick-up service. We were lucky to be picked up by a large Mercedes-Benz business car. Later we learned that this car was the chairman's own car, and it was used to pick up guests. This is too high-end~ The driver at the pick-up station was also very good, helping us with luggage and wheelchairs, which was very heartwarming~ (I contacted the hotel one day in advance to book the pick-up station, added the housekeeper on WeChat, and filled in the time and specific number of people at the pick-up station) 2. The hotel also provides a free shuttle bus to the ancient city, which is also beyond An expected service (reservation is required one hour in advance) 3. The girl at the front desk is also very friendly and will answer any questions~ 4. There are free Pu tea 🍵 and chrysanthemum, wolfberry, tangerine peel, and rose for guests to drink at the front desk. It is easy to get angry when traveling, and the hotel is so thoughtful~ 5. The hotel provides free mineral water (free drinking), which is really generous~ 6. The first time I took the initiative to write a review, the newly opened hotel, the room could not avoid a little taste, but it was not a pungent formaldehyde smell, it could be seen that the facilities and bedding were solid, the sanitary environment was very good, and the room was spacious and bright. The layout was reasonable. The restaurant downstairs tastes very good. It should be a local time-honored hotel. It is very recommended for fruit bread and casserole soup series. It is really a very satisfying stay experience! 5 minutes walk from Huayan Temple, travel is also very convenient, although the room is an indoor window, but the view is very wide, the sound insulation is very good. Non-smoking room was created on the fly for us. Consequently the smell of smoke lingered on in the room. Service was extremely prompt. The person taking care of our laubdry ran up the stairs faster than me. Comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. Limited English language capabilities.

The hotel enjoys a prime location, with parking on the second floor below ground, accessible by elevator, ensuring safety and security. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, comparable to international chain hotels. The front desk staff is attentive, and there's a coffee machine and tea bags in the lobby, with bottled water available on every floor. It's a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, I only had one cup of coffee before it was shut down due to a shortage of coffee beans. The breakfast, however, was lackluster in both variety, quality, and quantity.

A very cost-effective hotel! Although the hotel is far from the ancient city, it is very close to museums and art galleries. Wanda Plaza is across the road, where there are two famous old restaurants in Datong, which are very convenient for eating, drinking and having fun. It is suitable for self-driving travel, and the underground parking lot is large. The hotel's buffet is great, especially the knife-cut noodles, mutton offal noodles and mutton dumplings, which are very authentic. The hotel room is well soundproofed and the whole hotel is very quiet. Of course, there are some shortcomings. For example, in the early April weather, the hotel room was extremely hot and dry, and the air conditioner did not provide cold air. It could only open the window 24 hours a day to dissipate heat, and the temperature control was not in place. The curtains in the room are behind a whole row of sofas. There are no smart facilities. You can only climb up the sofa to open and close the curtains, which is very inconvenient. The hotel twin room only has a single bed of 1.2 meters, and the double room is only 1.8 meters, which is not friendly to families with children. I hope to add a parent-child room with two beds, one large and one small.

The hygiene is really not good. I stayed with two children. I arrived at the hotel at 3 am. I didn't want to bother the children. If I arrived earlier, I would have checked out and changed to another one. I booked two rooms, one for the elderly. There was a smell of smoke when I opened the door. The elderly didn't want to bother so they opened the window for ventilation and slept. As for the parent-child room, I didn't find any obvious discomfort when I opened the door. The children liked the bed, but the bathroom was not good. The basin of the washbasin was very shallow and the water was rushing. When the child put the water on, it splashed all over his body and the surrounding table. When I went to the shower area, I could see other people's hair on the wall, and there was also a pair of women's underwear. It seriously affected my mood. Did you really clean it? Or did you only make the bed? There are still many details that were not done. I don't want to complain, I'm too tired. I wrote it to say that the hair was still there when we left. I don't know if it will stay until the Chinese New Year. I will not book Yunduo Hotel again in the future.

Environment ⭐⭐⭐ Before entering the room, I made a bunch of stone paths. The first day I arrived, I was lame. If I took the box, I had to move in. The hotel has a refrigerator, microwave, laundry room, fitness equipment, microwave oven is really convenient, hot in the morning is very convenient... there is no disposable dumplings... the hotel has an early place but no disposable tableware. Finally, let's talk about cleaning ⭐ The front desk customer service asked if I needed cleaning. I clearly said that I needed to make up and clean up the garbage in the trash can. The other didn’t need to result in the cleaning sister cleaned up the water bottle I specially left on the table and put me on the table. A silicone lid was also thrown away as garbage. The last one. The day I cleaned up the cup and found that the lid was gone... It was speechless~ Overall, that's it. If you come back next time, you will definitely change to see what other homes look like~

It can be regarded as the most satisfactory hotel I have ever stayed in Datong! There are many excellent places, clean and hygienic, complete facilities, good air conditioning/bathroom/bedding, sufficient water and drinks, friendly service, convenient transportation, and good breakfast. The main shortcomings are: 1. The quilt was too thick, and the air conditioner was turned on to 19 degrees, making it hot even if covered with it. 2. I really don’t like this automatic flushing toilet🚽! It looks very smart, but in fact, if you use it in the middle of the night, it will easily disturb your sleeping family.
