Datong Hualu Hotel (Huiquan Square Branch) Reviews

I stayed at Hua Lu hotel for the second time. Room is  clean and service is top notch. The room service lady left us a handwritten thank-you note everyday and thoughtfully provided a mouse pad as she noticed we have laptop on the desk. Breakfast is very good and has variety of local food. Location is convenient and has relatively less traffic. Highly recommend Hua Lu if you look for a clean, quiet and family friendly place to stay.

This is an amazing hotel with a service mindset ingrained at all levels of the hotel employees... From the management, to the front desk, to the house keeping staff, to the restaurant staff.... All had the desire to serve and make the guests feel at home and wanted. The amenities and the rooms in the hotel were top class. Stay in this Hotel if you are visiting Datong.... You will never regret it....

The hotel is super sweet, they provided the daily fruits everyday. They also have a self service laundry. Good location as nearby has good foods around.

Best hotel we stayed in during our 3 weeks travel in China. Staff was friendly, room was well equipped and comfortable, and breakfast was good. No complains.

This year, I chose Datong to celebrate the Spring Festival. I chose Hualu Hotel completely blindly. I read a lot of reviews and finally chose Hualu. It can be said that everything from hardware to service exceeded my expectations. It is above the four-star level. The lobby, corridors and rooms are all exquisitely designed and decorated. There is also a fragrance system, which is fresh and elegant. During the Spring Festival, the door of the room was also pasted with the word "Fu" and the window was pasted with window paper-cuts. Because there are two adults and two children, we booked two rooms. The hotel thoughtfully arranged a connecting room with a large bed and a standard room. The family actually lived together without affecting each other, which was still very comfortable. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but they are all very delicate, and the ingredients and taste are very good. On New Year's Eve, the hotel also sent dumplings. For people in Northeast China, it is very important to eat dumplings to welcome the God of Wealth before the bell rings at midnight. It is a custom engraved in the bones. I think I didn't miss the dumplings on the night of the 30th in the UK, so I am very grateful for the hotel's thoughtful arrangement.

We came on the first day of the first ***** month. The service staff in the lobby reception, accommodation and restaurant were very enthusiastic and professional. We booked two rooms and upgraded them for free. The room is very large, with a good view to the north, and you can directly see the Northern Wei Mingtang Ruins Park. The light to the south is very good, and the room is warm and sunny. It is clean and tidy, there is no odor in the room, and some special consultations were made before check-in. We also gave souvenirs when we left the hotel. The whole stay experience was very good. Welcome fruit on the first day of check-in: rich and fresh Pear juice soup: very refreshing

I like this hotel very much. There are small gifts when leaving the hotel. The breakfast baked pastries are all freshly made and delicious. The waiters are very enthusiastic and will take the initiative to provide services, especially Sister Peng on the 17th floor. She cleans the sanitation very carefully and the pear soup she makes feels warm in winter.

The room is spacious and bright, very clean, fully equipped, quiet and comfortable. The hotel environment is great, the service is warm, the sanitation is cleaned every day, and there are thoughtful pear soup and fruit plates, which are very good.

I came to Datong for a trip and booked Hualu Hotel for more than 300 yuan a night. I thought this price for a 4-star hotel was quite cheap, but after checking in, I realized that it was a great value. Whether in terms of rooms, hardware facilities, services, or breakfast, it is comparable to many five-star hotels. At the end of the checkout, the hotel also gave me homemade cakes (I recommend that the cakes for the hotel breakfast should be baked by themselves, and the standard is very high) I will probably book this hotel next time I come to Datong.

A hotel that exceeded expectations. The room was clean and sanitary, and the hot pear soup and welcome fruit were very warm. When checking out, the hotel also provided us with delicious snacks. The hotel staff was very enthusiastic and felt at home! I will patronize again next time!

The room is clean and tidy, the toilet and bathroom are separated into dry and wet areas, and someone cleans it every day. There was a problem on the night of check-in, which was solved in time. The breakfast is also very rich. The only regret is that pets are not allowed. A souvenir was also given when checking out in the morning

The hotel deserves the 4.9 rating from Ctrip, which is definitely not fake. It has good hygiene, considerate service, free parking, and pear juice and fruit yogurt are delivered every day. I will stay here again next time I come to Datong.
