The hotel was very lovely and located in a very convenient area. Lots of famous restaurants around the hotel. The room was very clean and cozy, with a clean hot shower and smart toilet. Also, the staffs were very friendly and kind.

After looking around on Ctrip, I finally chose Huazhu Yanzhenju in the ancient city. I booked a double bed in the first entrance. I thought I would stay for four nights and have a larger space. This room is 40 square meters. The courtyard is very suitable for my accommodation requirements. It is located in the lively Gulou East Street, opposite the Guandi Temple, but it is very quiet. If you go back late, you can just swipe the gate access control by yourself. There are three entrances in the homestay, each with different views. The small courtyard is very photogenic, and the three entrances and exits are a travel photo. It is very close to the Nine Dragon Wall. It is just outside the small road next to the Little Wife Liangfen. It is very convenient to go anywhere. It takes 15 minutes to take the scenic area through bus to Heyang Square. The Liang Sicheng Museum is next to it. It takes 15 minutes to walk to Huayan Temple. Zini, Xijin Road, and Yunzhong Twelve Lanes are all close. The room is very clean, and there are disposable bath towels prepared, which are added every day. There is no meal when booking, but after arriving, I found that different sliced ​​bread, milk and daily nuts are prepared every day, which is very considerate. There are two cats in the yard, and they are not afraid of people. There is a water heater in each room for hot water, but it is enough. There are also many plugs in the room, which are enough. If I come to Datong again, I think I will stay here again

After searching online for a long time, I finally chose Gujia Inn with a try-it-out mentality. I didn't expect to have unexpected gains. First of all, the location is excellent. It is located in the center of the ancient city. It takes a few minutes to walk to various attractions in the city, and the farthest is no more than ten minutes. Ancient buildings, four archways, Daiwang Mansion, Nine Dragon Wall, Huayan Temple, Shanhua Temple, pedestrian streets and other attractions are all around. Restaurants and various local snacks are only a few minutes away. I ate the millet jelly, siu mai, knife-cut noodles, rabbit head, jelly, etc. that I had been thinking about. In addition, the inn is clean and sanitary, the service is warm, and it is convenient to travel. This trip was a pleasant surprise!

I highly recommend staying here! The owners are very kind and helped us book a private driver to visit some of the nearby sites (grottos and hanging monastery). They also helped us pay our driver when we were having some issues with alipay. The location is also very good about a 10-15 min walk to the center of datong old city. We absolutely loved their tatami room and all of the areas are clean and tastefully decorated. One area for improvement is that the owners sometimes smoke in the lounge area right outside the rooms - which may bother some guests who do not smoke.

The room is small, but enough. Health is not bad, service is OK. It is the price increase of the head during the eleventh period, which is very uncomfortable. I can accept the price increase of the eleventh, but it is really uncomfortable to rise to 2 times. I don't want to join in the fun, who let me not fake it. Maybe Datong is like this?

The biggest advantage of this store is of course its location, as it is located in the ancient city’s bell tower scenic area. When I arrived at the ancient city of Datong, I saw customers queuing up next to the hotel waiting for their number to be called at the internet-famous noodle shop ”Xijindao”, as well as the high-decibel noise of the surrounding shops using loudspeakers to attract customers. I suddenly felt a chill in my heart, and worried that I would not be able to sleep well in the next few days. Unexpectedly, after moving in, although the windows faced the downtown, the noise could not be heard as long as the windows were closed. The soundproof windows had a very high coefficient. I felt relieved immediately (in fact, the noise from the crowds died down after 9:30 pm). The sound insulation between the room next door is not very good, if the other party speaks loudly, we will hear it. Maybe the partitions in the old house can’t completely block it off! The store's service attitude is super good and super friendly. Because I was traveling alone, I originally booked the smallest room online, but the hotel took the initiative to upgrade me to a larger room. I am very grateful. Moreover, the staff at the counter are very friendly to the customers, just like the older brothers and sisters next door, and their enthusiasm is not at all pretentious. The facilities in the room are also very clean and generous, with great attention to detail. There is also a washing machine available on the first floor. At this price, it is very good. The downside for me is that there is no breakfast which is a little annoying. The restaurants nearby are all popular online restaurants in tourist attractions. The earliest one to open is ”Xijindao” at 7 o'clock, but it is not good to eat knife-cut noodles every day. It is difficult to have porridge, steamed buns, etc. for breakfast, as you have to walk to a residential area far away. Also, there is no larger supermarket nearby, so if you want to buy some fruit you have to go outside the scenic area. But this is a good thing but it cannot be fully enjoyed. After all, being able to take a walk in front of the Huayan Temple every morning or take a look at the tranquility and leisure of the Grand Mosque next to it are all worth it.

It was a very satisfying experience. The boss was very nice and enthusiastic. We couldn't find a place to buy fruit in the ancient city, but the boss delivered fruit to us for two consecutive days. He also introduced us to the local characteristics and drove to the vinegar factory introduced by the boss, which was a pleasant surprise. The accommodation environment is very good. I brought my two children with me. I didn't have time to take pictures, so I stole the promotional pictures. The actual environment is consistent with the promotion and is clean and tidy. The location of the B&B is very good. There is a parking lot not far away. Next to the parking lot is the Drum Tower and various restaurants.
