Wucaiyun Garden Hotel Dali Ancient Town Reviews

I had a truly wonderful stay at Dali Hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, providing the perfect mix of comfort and elegance. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of my visit was flawless, always greeting me with a smile and promptly addressing any requests.

Was really happy with this place. We stayed in a deluxe room which included multiple living rooms and a HUGE rooftop terrace, which was amazing for reading, having coffee, etc. The service was excellent, rooms were very clean and comfortable. Only a couple of negatives: very limited English from the staff and it's a bit far from renmin road (about 20-25 minute walk). Overall: 10/10 would stay again!

Very nice hotel situated just outside the old town. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice swimming pool and also has some basic gym facilities. Good value for money.

We love this hotel because it's near the ancient city (10-15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by taxi). It has a pool and the breakfast is great. You can also enjoy the mountain view from their rooftop. The only downside is that no one understand English, only one lady with limited word. But we can always use a translator to communicate. You can also find many restaurants near the hotel.

Amazingly beautiful hotel! The beds were very comfortable. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The gym could use an upgrade , but the pool was great ! I love Chinese food , but the breakfast was just okay for me. I’d stay here again 😃

The hotel itself is fine. Nice, new-ish, not too far from fun things. The breakfast was very nice. But the service was really weird. The staff seemed like they wanted to help but didn’t know how. Simple things became big things. They couldn’t find our reservation and even after we showed them on trip.com and sent them booking numbers it just seemed too hard. They sent our “welcome fruit” on the night before we were leaving (4night stay). It was just a difficult place to get the simplest things. I hope they can look at the way they work and become a better place to stay.

Modern style, clean and simple but running on skeleton staff probably due to covid. Breakfast was a bit disappointing with limited options and stale baked goods.

The Wucaiyun Hotel in Dali Ancient Town is really amazing! As soon as you step into the hotel, it's like entering a paradise. The real garden is super beautiful, with green trees and flowers complementing each other. Every step is a scene, and there are paintings everywhere. In the room, ethnic decorations are cleverly embellished, from exquisite silver ornaments to simple ornaments, full of details, and the atmosphere is directly full. The hotel's service is also very considerate, and the staff is warm and friendly and responsive. The location is also great, and it is convenient to travel and eat around. Falling asleep with the sound of insects in the garden at night, and being awakened by the birds outside the window in the morning, it's so comfortable!

The hotel is not far from Dali Ancient Town, 10 minutes away. There is no traffic jam like in the ancient town. It has its own parking lot, which is super convenient. The room is clean, simple and comfortable, and the service is even better. Because I was not feeling well these two days, the housekeeper helped to deliver the medicine to the room. The restaurant staff also reminded me what I could not eat and asked me how I was feeling. Everyone gave me the warmth of family, thank you very much! I often come to Dali, and next time I come, I will definitely choose Wucaiyun Hotel

The service of the hotel is as satisfactory as ever. I come to Dali almost every year and stay at their house. This time, the housekeepers Xiao Yu and Xiao Duan were very considerate. They turned on the air conditioner for us before checking in, prepared welcome fruits, served us breakfast, etc. Seeing them busy, I felt a little sorry. It feels like being at home in the hotel. If you need anything, they will solve it in time. In addition, their garden is very large, and the balcony in the room is very comfortable. The privacy is also very good and very quiet. The facilities in the room are complete. The weather in Dali has not been very good these days. The air conditioner is very warm, and there is an electric blanket on the bed. After taking a shower, I lie in it warmly. It can satisfy people who are afraid of cold. The room is also equipped with a safe, an umbrella, and the favorite is alcohol wipes. Their toiletries smell very fresh. In short, I like them all. I will stay here when I come to Dali. I also like them to keep it up. I also hope that more people will like their home.

The hotel was booked on the spur of the moment after arriving in Dali, but I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. The front desk and housekeeper were very welcoming and provided goodnight milk. The room was also very large, with an electric blanket, and the hot water came out super quickly.
