Excellent
GGuest UserThis is the best hotel to stay in the whole of South Bay Area including Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Palo Alto and San Jose. I have been so impressed with the service of all the employees and specifically Madison as she not only helped me at the front desk but I saw that she was prompt to answer my questions and provide appropriate response through the Hilton Honors App too. The Hilton brand experience is also amazing at this place and all the amenities are to the point like Parking, Restaurant, Fitness Centre etc.
GGuest UserI have stayed one night twice in this location. First stay, the FOH was getting trained, focus was on checking me in the computer. Second visit, quick check in process, friendly staff, forgot to write my room number nor mention it to me, good thing I saw in app after parking. $18 on site parking either open next to hotel entrance, or in a gated covered lot. The room has a modern look with the vanity separating the bedroom and bathroom. The 1 king bed room has frosted walls/doors with no locks for the shower and toilet, not a fan of the frosted look because it does not look clean for me. The vanity had motion sensor lights on the bottom. The shower has both a shower head and has a rainfall shower system - pressure was both appropriate, strong for the shower head, moderate for the rainfall. Behind the vanity, facing the bed was a floor to almost the ceiling mirror - still don’t know how I feel about this haha. I do like the modern feel. The bed felt comfy. The room could be cleaner. There were some hair strands next to toilet and there were a couple under the duvet. There was a green stain on the water flush and a dried visible stain on the counter by the sink - we typically bring cleansing wipes to clean our room regardless but cleanliness definitely could be better. Great sized tv and desk available as a working space. Side note: it’s right next to 10 Butcher’s which is an upscale kbbq place pricey but yummy!👍
Aamberlys94At check in I asked for a room on a high floor, he told me he did not have any, but don't worry theres no one above you. which clearly there was, I could hear them walking and stomping. No problem , they were quiet after 9pm. The room was clean and decent enough, until it was morning and time to take a shower. No hot water. they were nice enough to move me, but I ended up forgetting a small canvas bag in the old room that completly dissapeard. the front dest person said nobody had been in the room but there was a luggage tag in the trash that was not mine and my little bag was not there, as it was the only place I could have left it. Would I stay agian, probably but I'd make sure I have hot water before unpacking, since moving rooms in a rush in the morning caused me to leave something behind, yes I know that is my fault, but the item should not have dissapeared.
FFaridIt was nice and quiet specially for a long weekend time.
The room was OK. Comfortable beds and pillows.
The floor needs to be cleaned better and there some ants walking around more visible in the bathroom. I think needs some spray before the summer officially starts.
The pool was not ready no towels provided until Sunday.
The jacuzzi was hot but only 4 jets out of 12 were working.
I cleaned the leaves and tree brushes and... inside the pool and spa before using it myself ....
GGuest UserThe service is very good. The room is clean.
Facilities: complete.
Sanitation: clean.
Environment: satisfactory.
Service: very thoughtful.
The second time I stayed at an American hotel. This hotel is very cost-effective. There are many people staying here. The front desk service is very good. It doesn’t matter if you don’t speak English.
Aloft Sunnyvale on its own is good enough value for money spent. However, what truly stood out was the customer ser ice of its front desk. Shoutout to Michelle for helping me out a ton when I was trying to extend my stay. No excuses were made and she found a way to get it done even under difficult circumstances. Roy was also great with the room upgrade when he saw that I had brought a friend and might have needed a bigger bed. 10/10 Customer Service!
Ssavor007The sanitary conditions are good, and the Korean supermarket is relatively large. The room type is also good. Disadvantages, it is seriously not soundproof, I can hear the sound of snoring next door, in addition, I will ask you to collect money after breakfast is almost finished, and consumption must be paid. In addition, Korean supermarkets are really big, but they are not used to eating
GGuest UserA lot more than what meets the eye when you first pull in! Rooms were very spacious, breakfast was ok except they didn't have the waffle machine working that was sitting on there on the counter, which was kind of big bummer. They also have a full bar but it was closed for whatever reason and not stocked at all. The breakfast and bar were the main reasons we booked this hotel too.
Oh and one last thing, someone at the front desk apparently ”accidentally” set off the FIRE ALARM in the entire hotel. At about 1:30AM the fire alarm sirens started blaring. I didn't smell smoke and didn't see or hear any panic when I went outside. I came out of our room and looked down the hallways and there was NO ONE to be found... Searched around (all while deafening sirens are blaring right outside our door) at 1AM and all of a sudden, after about 5 or so minutes of frantically trying to find a fire or anything, the sirens stopped. Extremely confused and also a bit irritated at 2am, we called the front desk after not hearing anything from anyone about if we were in danger or not. They answered finally and we told them that the fire alarm had been going off... The front desk person said ”Yes, we know, we took care of it.” Like it's a normal occurrence and we should've known I guess... So, confused again, we asked ”Sooo, was it just an accident?” And all they replied with was ”Yes.” Without so much as an apology. And that was that
So, be prepared, if staying here, that might happen! Just forewarning. 🤷
GGuest UserI recently stayed because of work and having recently moved to the area was unfamiliar with the Larkspur Landing Franchise. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at this location. When I arrived at 3pm to check-in there was of course a long line of people trying to check-in at the sane time. Melissa was working, the lobby was full, she managed to check-in and completely clear out the line in the lobby in less than 15min ALONE, Impressive. The entire staff, extremely friendly, and would greet you with a genuine smile and ask you how your day was going when you walk through the hotel. The rooms are equipped with full size fridge, dishwasher, and the rooms actually have dishes, I have stayed in hotels that had a kitchen but didn’t provide dishes for travelers. Who travels with dishes? The beds are comfortable and there is a large workstation with actual office chairs. I was able to set up my laptop and create a work station which was so helpful to be able to not have to go to a FedEx to do my work. And they provided breakfast for guests, laundry(no charge), the list goes on. This truly is one of the best hotels and I would highly recommend it to those traveling for work and families too. The hotel is quiet at night, not filled with sketchy people, and the parking lot is huge and well lit with cameras. I travel alone and felt totally safe the entire trip. Thank you Larkspur Staff, your hard work is greatly appreciated!
CCastcornThis was literally the worst, most TERRIBLE ”Inn” I've been to in my entire life. The first clue should have been when they handed me a huge, actual key that fit in the entire palm of my hand . Entering the room was a shock as the furniture was dingy and OLD and creeky. 1980's T.V didn't work. Noisy (people yelling and grunting from outside. Not even kidding you guys...this room was SKETCH. I was flying out early the next morning so I convinced myself I just needed a spot to land my head for the night. The bed...omg..the bed...and the pillows..GOOD.GOD.NO. As I tried to fall asleep, I was startled out of bed (11:15pm) by a homeless man POUNDING on my door and screaming to let him in so that he could shower. I'm not even kidding right now. I thought there were two men because when I shouted, ”wrong room” there was a ”conversation” that sounded like two men. Now, the door is so old and thin, you can see the light from the outside through its perimeter and feel a breeze. The window, paper thin. I was TERRIFIED as it was only me and my daughter. I scrambled to find the phone, which was from 1980 (NO LIE)..there was no option to call the front desk. It felt like a dream where you're trying to get somewhere but cant move. The pounding and screaming continued and my daughter and I were TERRIFIED. I had to google the number to the hotel and call directly to the front desk. No answer. I had to resort to calling 911 to report two men outside my door. My daughter looked out of the peep hole and saw only one man who was talking to himself. Dispatch asked me a few questions and got off the phone with me. The man stayed for about 15 more minutes just talking to himself and trying to talk to who he believed was on my side of the room. He finally walked away. I'm not sure if they police ever even came, as they didn't knock on my door or call me. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! BAD VIBES ALL THE WAY AROUND!!
