This is a perfect facility to host a fitness retreat. The exercise equipment is state of the art, and the fitness center is open 24/7 with an adjacent year round indoor pool that is accessible early mornings. Personal trainers and fitness gurus can host events here due to the space and ratio of how many persons can be in the indoor pool and fitness center at the same time. If you are trying to lose weight or count calories, there are numerous adjacent restaurants including Ruby Tuesday that offer full balanced low calorie meals and a full salad bar at reasonable prices. Some of these restaurants are just a parking lot away. I spoke to Kela at the front reception area about having a bike rack at this location. This added amenity would also enhance fitness options for the business traveler or a family that wants to get daily recreation. Breakfast options also included anything from peanut butter, scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, pancakes, an assortment of pastries, juices, etc. I would highly recommend the sedentary person, fitness enthusiast and the lay person wanting to lose about 10-20 pounds to stay here about 1-2 weeks to accomplish their fitness goals in a structured environment. It is very easy to establish a workout schedule at this location that allows you to workout 2-3 times a day, and eat restaurant prepared balanced low calorie meals to accomplish your weight loss goals. Kela also made the checkout process very smooth and offered me a receipt. You can also receive hotel receipts via email.

The rooms are dirty and the smoke alarm was missing which I believe smoke alarms are mandated by the city or county. They gave me double bed rooms when I requested queen size beds and then overcharged me $20. When I addressed this the clerk said he would ”see” about giving me a credit but could not guarantee it. This is after I was given an even dirtier room at first with a bed cover that had a cigarette burn in it. The only reason we stayed is because I was told I could not get a refund because the manager wasn't there and wasn't expected back that day. I checked the reviews before booking and cannot understand how many positive reviews there were.

We were warmly welcomed at the front desk by sweet Margaret on Feb 27, 2023 and we were given room 109. It was very clean, had new carpeting, the bathroom had every toiletry we needed and more, the beds were very comfy. The pillows were small but very nice. It was quiet. Someone mentioned a train which we heard before went to sleep and again at 6:30 a.m. when we were getting up anyway. Breakfast was good - bagels, Turkey sausage Pattie’s and regular links, scrambled eggs, hot oatmeal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, oranges, apples, pastries, juices, coffee, hot chocolate and more but we did a grab and go so I didn’t pay more attention. We’d definitely stay here again!

The man who checked us in was very professional and nice. Our room was newer on the 4th floor. Nice walk in shower. Very quiet stay with the exception of a couple of loud cars going by. We were on the front of the building. Not sure if you’ll hear that on the back. There are several places to eat bear. Breakfast was good. The staff was probably some of the best we have had. She kept the dining area clean , stocked. And was also friendly. We loved the large bottles of shampoo , body wash and lotion. We didn’t have to unload all in that.

I've been staying in Hilton properties for 20 years. I have stayed in 100's of their properties. I spent 450.. for three nights for this hotel; this was not worth what I paid. This is not a Hilton-quality hotel. The size of the king room was about a third of a Hampton King room. There wasn't an alarm clock, coffee pot, or microwave, a closet to hang your clothes, or even a dresser to put my clothes. What quality hotel doesn't have an alarm clock, coffee pot, microwave, closet, or dresser? I could see my dress clothes hanging next to the bed. I had the rest of my clothes on top of the refrigerator table. Based on the pathetic service interactions I had with three people, the customer service staff has not received any Hilton training on guest service. This is was my first and last stay at Tru Hotel
