The open kitchen is superb, the bedroom is not big, it is 14-15 square meters, the bathroom is at best 6-7 square meters, the living room is nearly 15 square meters, the best thing is that there is an open kitchen, there are 10 square meters, and the cooking utensils are also Everything is available, including refrigerators, microwave ovens, induction cookers, coffee makers, kettles, wine utensils, pots, knives and forks. Stayed here for our 20th anniversary. The service is excellent. The room is great and has everything you need. Great view from room, very comfortable bed, fridge/freezer packed with soft drinks but plenty of room for more stuff, Wolf microwave, snacks, Toto toilet, Charmin toilet tissue, nice shower, huge tub, and large couch. Food and drinks at the bar are delicious. Beach valet service was great, and nice that we were ble to get a ride to a restaurant for dinner. Cons: Need more food options after pool bar closes. Open-air gym gets very hot and humid after sunrise, and forget about trying to use hotel wi-if in the gym - it doesn’t work there. Overall, a great stay, and we would return.

It's very convenient. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a supermarket nearby. It's quite comfortable for vacations and travelling. I saw wild turtles on the beach of the hotel, which was amazing.

Not a friendly solo experience with Westin Ocean Villas North. It’s quite apparent the resort caters to families only even though they have studio rooms like the one I was in this time. Didn’t get the Aloha Spirit I’ve received with my family in the past 25 years being an owner. The jacuzzi bathtub in the rooms are Not cleaned properly so beware of that and just skip getting in them. I ran a tub and the jacuzzi jets turned on spewing black gunk out of the jets. House keeping doesn’t clean inside the jets or clean the filter. Heath Hazard. I’m sad to say, after 25 years we will not return to Lahaina again. Too expensive to really enjoy yourself when it’s so commercialized here in Lahaina. Aloha

Lumeria Maui is our most favorite Hale to stay when we visit Maui. Their upcountry location is perfect for a central location to explore all of Maui. This nature inspired meditative retreat is at the steps of so many things to do, and the entire staff will bode with tremendous suggestion. Candice, Brandi and Char are the most friendly and professional house staff while Preston, Shane, and Kyle provide comfort breakfasts every morning of your stay. You will be very well cared. Please avail yourself to an Energy session with Brooke Howsley on Friday mornings and find a Sarah Rothman Hatha class during your stay for sure. Enjoy!

We are HGV owners and this was one of our options for a time share. At first glance, this resort did not look as appealing as the ones we had used in Oahu or the Big Island. Once there, however, we quickly realized it was just the right balance of space and facilities. The pools were great, many in number, varied in depth and some for adults only. We never had an issue with over crowdedness, which we found was the case on the other two islands. The suites were spacious and comfortable. Well-kept public spaces and lobby areas. The staff were helpful and fixed the one omitted request quickly. We had a 2 bedroom suite with full kitchen. It was great for 4 people, 6 would have been stretching it as there were only dishes and flatware service for 4. The King bedroom had a huge bathroom. The 2 double bedroom had a smaller bathroom but serviceable. Too bad we put one person on the King side and 3 on the double side. They were opening another villa in a matter of days as we watched them clean up the construction zone. My only complaint would be that there was not enough parking. If we returned at the later hour, we had to look to find parking. This was before the new villa was opened. There is further development happening adjacent to the property, which I'm sure will have parking, but there was no new space added in the immediate. There was an elevator on one side and stairs on the other. I would have preferred the elevator closer to the lobby side as that's where most people parked. I had issues with stairs and the final day, we had to use the elevator because of luggage and had to go all the way around the villa to get to our car. The location of this resort is perfect as it is across the street from the beach but also accessible to the main highway quickly. Being further south would necessitate driving through some traffic. As we planned to cook several meals in the kitchen, we were happy to find a 24 hr Safeway about 10 mins south, which came in handy the first night we arrived. Costco, Walmart and Target would serve us the following week and they were only 20 mins away. An enjoyable stay. We will come again.

The hotel on this island is estimated to have breakfast, because the scenery is better, so you need to drive yourself around to buy food, the breakfast is very rich, you can bring it back to your room to eat, the hotel is a two-story wooden house, separated by a road from the beach. There are a lot of people watching the sunset, the scenery is beautiful in the morning, the holiday is very suitable, the hotel has its own small yards are all plants, and there are toys for public children on the beach. Very relaxing place to stay for a night or a few days. And ease.

We did a sister trip for our birthdays and thru the recommendation of a dear friend we were able to get a room here and we couldn’t have been happier. Everything was amazing from the location which is perfectly centrally located, to the room and most importantly the hosts from Joanna and Kaui to everyone I spoke to at the desk. Working in the industry for 27 years I know good customer service when I feel it … and the host of the Maui Coast Hotel are top notch! My sister and I can’t wait to go back! Keep doing what you’re doing … Denise from Honolulu

GGuest UserRoom was very clean and the view was great. The pool area was nice (we went to the 'residence' pool as the main one was crawling with screaming children), and the service was good. The pool side food was better than expected for a pool, but the drinks were far too overpriced. Our room was one with a doorway into the adjacent room, which we weren't using. That door however allowed us to hear every noise in the next room. Doors to the hallway were nice and heavy. Water bottle given on checkin was nice, with refills available. Door key on a wrist band was super convenient. No losing the key! Be aware- very little beach, and many areas completely shut down due to erosion damage. Walk to whaler's village is a bit of a hike. Self parking lot was TINY and when there were no spots available the valet said they would only charge the self-parking-fee but then charged us the full $40 for valet parking, even though we had no other choice. The valets were very fast. The hotel bill included breakfast which was supposed to be covered by our conference, but after a bit of discussion they did remove that from the bill.

快跑小猴子The hotel is very comfortable. The whole room is good. There is a large swimming pool and a heated pool. The rooms are large. Maybe Maui Island is more expensive as a whole. This is the right price. Seeing the organic group also stays in this hotel hahaha. The breakfast at the hotel is very generous, but the breakfast here is more diy than the high-end hotel. Many things need to be done by yourself, such as baking muffins and toasting, but it is quite interesting. The bitter thing about breakfast is that there are too many birds. As long as no one is at the table, there will be birds to eat food. I was mad twice after being eaten twice. The only disadvantage of the hotel is probably the location. It is far from the main attractions of Maui Island and the famous beaches. Especially when you are tired by car, you will feel that the location selection has failed. But overall it is a wonderful experience!

GGuest UserWe had a brief but really fun stay here at the Westin Maui Resort and Spa. We were warmly greeted by the sweetest staff member, Megumi. She heard that it was our dream one day to stay here and for our 16th anniversary we made it happen, and she surprised us with Leis! It was incredible. The staff here are attentive and kind and so welcoming! Michael with Maui Gold pineapples made sure to tell us all about the resident HUGE fish in the Koi pond, a cousin to the piranha, whose name is “Mitch”. The kids loved the fun facts he shared, as well as offering us some of his delicious Maui Gold Pineapple and some chocolate buckeyes he generously shared with us. The lobby had our complimentary coffee for guests from 6-9am, and a fun flamingo (yes, there are FLAMINGOS!) and koi feeding at 9am. Upon arrival we were also given two complimentary tickets to grab a cocktail or mocktail at their poolside bar. There were other complimentary offerings as well that we did not take advantage of. The kids spent most of their time on the waterslides. Poolside seating can be difficult to find if you arrive later than 10am, but if you’re patient and keep an eye out, a space usually opens up. The location can’t be beat as it’s directly next door to Whalers, which has great shopping and restaurants that are beachfront. Awesome snorkeling at Black Rock is a short 5-7 min beach walk from the hotel. We were really happy with our stay! Our room faced the mountains and we had a gorgeous view of the sunrise. There are private adult only hot tubs (one infinity sand bottom!) and pools as well. Water bottle filling stations are found on the lobby floor. Excellent choice for families. $35 self park fee or $45 valet.

GGuest UserThe Hilton Waldorf Astoria Grand Wailea is now owned by Blackstone Group LP, private equity firm. Hilton members and especially Diamond members be ready to be treated like a dollar sign when you arrive on the property because that is all you are now. They are going to nickel and dime you for everything on the property. Diamond members don't count on or expect the upgrade to the Napua Club, it's not going to happen if you reserved your stay with points. Will be scoffed at, and reprimanded for asking, and Michele at the front counter will put you in your place real quick, and let you the Napua is a $400 per night upgrade, and your loyalty to the brand means nothing any longer, and you should be ashamed for booking with points. My advice is; Marriott Property on Maui outnumbers Hilton 10-1. Take my advice and stay away from the Grand Wailea and choose a Marriott property. The Marriott property on the island that is equivalent to the Grand Wailea is the Ritz Catron Kapua on the West side of the island. Ritz Carlton Kapua is 5 stars compared to what Grand Wailea has become.

乱窜的猫咪The hotel is indeed very old, the decoration style of the 80s, the color of the carpet can not be seen dirty or old, the safe has to charge, parking 14 knives a day, a little better can stop at the door, the supermarket to buy things directly back to the room is very convenient. The room given was not bad. I could see a sea view. It was great to see the stage and watch the show every night on the balcony. The room is not small, the maintenance is normal. I have cleaned it several times in the middle, gave a tip, cleaned it cleanly, and left a small note of thanks. The hotel has performances from 6-9 pm every night. It is more exciting on Friday. It has a local hula dance and performance. It is very good. It is super boring at other times. Several American aunts dance in American Square. The hotel’s own restaurant tastes good and the price is good. Sleeping late did not eat the hotel's breakfast, but there is a canteen, there is a coffee sandwich burger to sell, the price is OK, very convenient. Belonging to the first-line beach hotel, it is a beach, the location is very good, next to the Sheraton, black rock snorkeling a lot of fish, you can see turtles every day. The beach is really very good, the water is clear and the sand is young, there are not many people, watching the sunset is super beautiful. In general, the expensive hotels sold by Kaanapali are justified. The fish that I spent 2000 ocean snorkeling saw no more black rock.

My husband and I first stayed at the Mauian in 2010. That trip was memorable and we declared that the Mauian would become our special home away from home for years to come. Since then, we have stayed on several occasions and have also tried a few other properties on the island. However, something always brings us right back to this spot.  We returned this week for the first time after a few year hiatus. Somethings have not changed at all while we discovered a few new inconveniences/annoyances.  What we love about the Mauian.... - the proximity to the beach. If you are in the ocean or partial ocean view rooms, you can literally step onto the sand within a minute of leaving your unit. That also means each unit has a stunning view of Napili Bay.  - the old school Hawaiian vibe. The 2 story building has that old school, rat pack vibe. The grounds are lush and the rooms are tastefully decorated in traditional Hawaiian colors. The ambience here is perfection.  - the beach itself is beautiful (though has changed over the years and is a bit steep). However, on a calm day I can't think of a more beautiful place to snorkel, float or stand up paddle board. - the recent addition of AC in the rooms! Definitely helps for those units that are in the afternoon sun. We enjoyed having the AC on until nightfall and then opening the windows to sleep with the breeze and sounds of the waves.  - there is a small breakfast served daily (which has also changed over the years and is now scaled back quite a bit). We use the breakfast to supplement our own breakfast items that we cook in the room. You can expect toast, fruit, juice and hard boiled eggs.  Things we don't love about the Mauian.... - the parking situation (which has gotten worse over the years). There are more units than parking spots. The add to that, there is no parking inforcement and I counted a handful of cars parked in spots this morning that didn't have a Mauian parking permit. Other guests were literally parking behind and blocking cars in (even though the Mauian recommends street parking).  - the walls are thin, which usually isn't an issue, this time however we were next to a screaming baby and inconsiderate people that don't know how to use their indoor voices.  - the beach has gotten busy and we felt pressure to go down early every morning and set up our chairs and towels (which made me feel like we were at a cheap all inclusive, minus the ”all inclusive” part).  Overall, for the price this place is a gem. In the ten years we've been coming to Maui, the nightly rates have doubled on the island. However, compared to hotels in Wailea (re: the Andaz - which I liked) the rate here is still half the price. We will obviously be back (but I'll likely pack ear plugs).

Vvagabondsoul70I don't think I have met more unfriendly staff than at this place. As well, upon check-in, I asked the staff on duty if where I was parked was okay to leave the vehicle, and he checked, and said 'absolutely' (parking is a bit challenging, and I wasn't sure where to do so; it was also quite late - middle of the night). When I checked out in the morning, I found two parking tickets on my vehicle. This could have been avoided if I had been given correct information (there were no signs saying I could not park there). The bed was brutally uncomfortable (sagging, broken springs), and there were no pillowcases on the pillows. The air conditioner unit was broken. This place is also exorbitantly priced for a hostel, even for an expensive location like Maui. The bathrooms were clean and pancakes were delicious. The common area/lobby was clean and attractive.

I booked a garden view room for 3 to 4 people. The room is huge and beyond imagination. In fact, it is a two-bedroom, one living room with a corner balcony, and a kitchen dining table. Although it is not facing the sea, the mountain scenery on the opposite side is extremely beautiful, the sky is high and the ground is wide, and the clouds are floating. In addition to the large room, the rest is lackluster, the overall is outdated, the swimming pool is average, the beach is narrow, and the infrastructure is still being constructed between the two to block the passage, which makes the space on the seaside cramped. Downstairs, there is a small night market square consisting of several food trucks, and there are also several businesses selling T-shirts and handmade wood carvings. The overall grade of the hotel is 3-4 stars, the experience is average, and the price/performance ratio is acceptable, so I don't recommend it.

The Maui Seaside is one of the few remaining hotels reminiscent of ”Old Hawaii” and they make you feel like valued family member. The open air lobby makes you feel like you have arrived in paradise! We really love the property and the people. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the harbor is gorgeous! There are even kitties on the property who will pay attention to you if you have treats! Love Love LOVE the Maui Seaside.

GGuest UserIt's a decent hotel with no frills. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but worn out. There isn't really a beach and sorry if odd people hanging around. I think people live there long term in one section. The restaurant and bar were closed for a private party so we ordered Doordash. Beds need replacement as you sink into them and they are uncomfortable.
