The room is very good, but parking is still 22 dollars, there is no description in the app, there is no refrigerator, there is a microwave oven, the bed is 1.8 meters, the price is OK.

Our tour group spent 4 days and 3 nights in February 2023 and we were checked-in efficiently, treated warmly, and thanks for our business. Our three breakfasts were hot and plentiful and the meals were serviced perfectly by two staff members. In fact, upon our group's departure I was contacted by Simo, from the breakfast staff, who told me he had located a young tour passenger's purse and made sure it was secure until we could return to pick it up. Well done, Simo! Meanwhile, the location is absolutley primo for a group tour of the Capital city.

Check in was super long! I was assigned the wrong room and I was supposed to be compensated by getting a nights worth of free parking and did not! Otherwise, the hotel was very nice! Parking was very limited.....

Clean, quiet and good location for 4 metro lines. Ask for an upper room with windows over the birds that fly by in the morning. Very nice and very quiet. Only drawback was the breakfast options (paid for separately) were not so good and the delivery of service for breakfast was pretty slow. Front desk people were all very cordial, responsive.
THE BAD - Failed to clean the rooms for weeks, no reason given just forgot despite being asked repeatedly - Rooms were LOUD with parties going past 3am on more than one occasion - Elevators are slow as molasses and carts for moving luggage are limited - Expensive rooms - Expensive parking ($25/night) - The store on the ground floor has some weird $50 temporary charge on your card, avoid that place and walk to Target instead THE GOOD - Location is great - Staff was polite I got 2 rooms for my in-laws visiting from overseas. They were here for weeks which is longer than their average stay. Despite asking for the room to be cleaned repeatedly, at the front desk - and from the cleaners themselves - it didn't happen. Given all the other bad aspects I was pretty embarrassed to have special guests, -some visiting the USA here for the first time - to experience this. SAD! Heard this place is going through a management change, good luck, they need a lot of work.

The staff is so kind and helpful. Kyan helped me with essentials when the airline lost my luggage. The whole team made sure I had a great experience. At the hotel restaurant I had amazing service from Ben and the rest of the bar team. I appreciate all their efforts to solve my travel issues.

Okay so let's start with the location, perfect, perfect! Restaurants, breakfast, smoothie shop, CVS, even the AMC theater all in walking distance. Damn good burger is a must. The smoothie shop a must! There's a grocery store across the hotel. I mean a second away. There's a dog park and bike rentals across the street. I don't have a dog but I walked the park, really clean. The hotel is clean and I'm OCD about cleanliness!! Very clean, room 202 (2 beds) is ridiculously big. I didn't expect that. Further away from elevator, so very quiet but the hotel was never really loud. You have to ask for towels if your not choosing service during your stay. I was fine with it. Coffee maker, fridge and microwave in the room. Coffee in lobby as well, but make it before 10am or it's just hot water with tea options. Again room was too clean. But 202 had a view of the hotel grounds basically, if you dont mind. I wasnt there for views. Parking, okay so there is hotel parking for $18 a day in a garage, not bad. We choose the street pay to park option and always found a spot. After five days our parking total was $17.14. It worked out for us. Pool is open weekdays 5pm to 10pm with a life guard. Really nice jacuzzi too. Weekends its 10am to 10pm I believe. The pool is long and slim, not big, not deep but clean and nice to have. Breakfast I never had it, always went out to eat, I'm a foodie. If you have the time try Milk & Honey 30 min, but it's a quick ride. Also try Della J's Delectables. Again hotel is clean, the hallways are cold, ac is on, but rather not be hot. You control temp in room. Wifi is free, didn't use it. TV is nice, kids watched it mostly. Lobby is nice and decorative. Bar was busy and open until 10pm. The hotel desk, Jose was very nice. Everyone was pleasant not very talkative, hello and bye, helped promptly when needed. I would stay here a million times over!

Shuttle Not very reliable for airport pickup. They say that the shuttle is available every 30 minutes during the day but you need to keep calling with details when you are waiting at the airport. The driver seems to be skipping a few trips and not notifying hotel staff. Our wait time was 50-55 minutes. Cleaning Cleaning is substandard as the staff skips a lot of items and focus on only basic item - fresh towels. Bed had dead ladybug on it. Rate The rate is on par with other hotels in this area, and may be a little higher for the amount of services offered. Front desk Staff is not very helpful on several items. When we argued about shuttle problems, they did not admit mistake; rather it was pushed to us saying we must have not waited in one of their designated areas (We did). Free breakfast information was not shared with us at check in. We only knew about it from the website and raised the question when the breakfast attendant wanted to charge us. It was then that he told that coupons are given when you check-in, so we had to go back to front desk to get them. Room Decent size room with congested furniture in a small area. There is no notepad/pen or a clock in the room, which are the most common items in any hotel rooms, regardless of rate they charge. There is no microwave in any of the rooms and the only microwave available is in the lobby, which is inconvenient to customers. There is a fridge in the room though... Overall, this hotel will not get anything more than two stars. Obviously, with continuous traffic in this area, this hotel does enjoy customers on a regular basis. But if they continue to behave this way, there is so much competition that may affect their business sooner or later.

GGuest UserThis is what I wrote to the Manager of the hotel. Mr. Hassan, Let me congratulate you on assembling one of the finest teams of hotel workers I have known. I especially want to point out Diamond, Larry, Carl, Melanie and Lourdes at the front desk and Johannes in housekeeping. Although I didn’t speak to any of them I also appreciate the maids who serviced our room every day. The reason I want to mention each person is because each addressed the issues we were having in a friendly, personal and professional manner. When my husband and I get to our room, we go over it to make sure anything out of place is mentioned to the front desk staff before we unpack. We found the living room chair in disrepair, a knob missing from the stovetop and the TV wasn’t working. By the time we returned to the front desk with our report, Diamond was on duty and asked if we wanted to change our room. She personally came to the second room and we told her that we preferred the first room if the items that needed addressing could be resolved. In fact, some were resolved by the time we returned to the first room. I also want to let you know that I had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time! This was my first time at a Residence and my husband and I agree that we now need a reason to come back. Having a full refrigerator, free wifi, hot buffet breakfast, a fantastic and helpful staff and all the other amenities has made this our go-to for future stays in Arlington/Crystal City. I only have one suggestion to make and that is for your buffet. I know there may be safety rules involved, but a hot buffet should stay hot; one morning I was the first one there and by the time I got to my table the waffles were cold. This continued the next days for the pancakes and french toast. If there’s a problem with keeping a flame under each tray, may I recommend you put one or two small microwaves in or immediately outside the buffet area. I have already recommended your hotel to a friend. And I’ll continue to do so to any and all who ask “What’s the best hotel in Arlington?”
GGuest UserI recently hosted a conference and board meeting at the Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel. I stayed twice- once in September to do a site visit and had a particularly friendly welcome from Gelila who helped me out multiple times and made me feel welcome and cared for. She really made my experience memorable. Working with Jada and Megan to book the event was really easy, friendly and efficient. When I came back to host my event I was really welcomed by the staff. Kendra always made sure I had what I needed to make sure my event ran smoothly and kept track of many different needs our group had. She was very responsive and helpful. Negasi, Rosario, Helen and Amir took care of us with our catering and were such authentic and caring people. They all made us feel like family. Negasi particularly noticed what we needed and made strides to change the plan to accommodate for our particular event. He is a wonderful person. Other front desk helpers, like Taylor, also really enhanced the experience. Everybody really actedl like a human being and I really appreciate it. I am so grateful each time I went down and saw Gelila at the desk because I felt like I could count on her generosity and friendly warmth! Thank you all for the care and consideration during our event! Next time will definitely book here.
DDenise SWe stayed there for one night. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate breakfast there and it was good. We went to the bar and boy is that gentleman there the nicest and so personable. This hotel was located in a good area and we walked to the train station to get into see the war memorials in DC. The parking situation was one I did not agree with. We got in late in the day. We paid the $33 (if I remember correctly) and thought that it would be for a 24 hour period. We checked out the next morning and we were billed an additional $33. Truly, for me, that is a bit much/gauging. Other than that, we would highly recommend a stay there.
TTheMarylandMonloeThe hotel staff was not only professional but very very kind. The facilities were clean and they had no problem assisting with additional asks. I needed a vase for flowers I received and came back to my choice of two different ones. From the front desk to the valet (whom were exceptional) I was more than happy with my stay. I love Trip.com!

LLaura FThis hotel is a good choice for families visiting the DC area, especially when flying into DCA. Crystal City Metro is an easy two block walk and takes about 5 minutes. Safe area, we walked from the metro back to hotel as late as 11:15pm and no issues. We used the free hotel shuttle from/to the airport (had a bit of a wait for p/u from airport ~30 minutes but only about 10 minutes on return trip to airport). Rooms look to be fairly recently updated with refill dispensers of hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, plus nightlights. Sinks do have odd placement of faucet in the top right corner. Several hooks for hanging items between bathroom and room. We used Amazon Fresh to have some basic snacks/drinks delivered and that worked well as there is an Amazon Fresh store about 4-5 blocks away. Hotel was sold out while there but quiet- we never heard neighbors and street noise and airport noise were not an issue, we were on the 8th floor though. Quick elevators. Breakfast area was large and busy every morning and we visited at varying times but the workers kept everything replenished and clean. Standard free breakfast of powdered eggs, (one morning was cheese omelets), sausage, gravy &biscuits, waffles, oatmeal, cereals and yogurt. Several quick service food options just about 3 block walk (Chick fil a, Chipotle and Sweetgreens among others). I had reserved guaranteed connecting rooms online thru Hilton and called the hotel to confirm that guarantee weeks before arrival. The morning of arrival the Hilton app would not allow me to choose connecting rooms. Upon calling the hotel for help I spoke with Marcia and she was thankfully able to resolve the problem and place us in the connected rooms even though the hotel was fully booked. I appreciate that Hilton’s website allows the option to select guaranteed connecting rooms but would suggest they improve that process to avoid inconveniencing travelers on vacation. Would stay again and recommend this hotel to others.

GGuest UserMy family and I recently stayed at the Double Tree By Hilton-Washington DC/Crystal City. I paid a Military Family Rate (listed below) for 2 nights totaling $468.79, and I was expecting for the rate to include complimentary breakfast. Upon arriving to the hotel we were not given breakfast vouchers which was disappointing as I had my family with me and I could not accommodate them with that. In addition, I was trying to get information as to why we weren’t given vouchers and I was given ridiculous information. The customer service representatives at the front desk were not helpful at all. One female lied to me about the breakfast buffet only being $10.00 a person ( I spoke to this female 04-14-23 at around 8pm). I spoke to another female who could not even point to me where it says the rate does not include breakfast (04-15-23 at 7:30am). I believed the female that told me that buffet was $10.00 a person a day prior and I went ahead and took my family to the buffet. When arriving to the buffet we found out that it wasn’t not $10.00 a person, but rather $28.00 a person! For the amount we paid for two nights I would think a breakfast vouchers would be included. I believe it was highly disrespectful, especially for it being a MILITARY FAMILY rate. This was never explained to us or listed anywhere for this rate to not include breakfast so it was in our understanding breakfast would be included. I could not find it anywhere where breakfast is not included and neither the customer service representatives could not show me where it says that. . I am not sure if we were mistreated, discriminated against, or our military service is not something that is respected around here. And it being Washington DC I would think that military services are appreciated.

GGuest UserOverall this was a lovely hotel and somewhere I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Free parking is a plus in this area, which is definitely not suburban-feeling although it's not in DC proper either. The hotel is a somewhat unique design, on a corner and wrapped around several sides of an above-ground lot and a single level of underground parking, both accessible for guests. Rooms were fresh and clean and well furnished. All the staff I interacted with were pleasant. I stayed for six nights and was quite comfortable. I did request a change of sheets for one bed midweek which never did happen despite the assurances of the front desk that it would, and our keys stopped working at two different occasions during the stay and had to be reissued -- based on what we saw from other guests, the key thing seemed fairly common. Breakfast was high quality and plentiful -- toast, bagels, cream cheese, peanut butter, rotating hot foods (usually sausage and egg/cheese omelettes or an egg patty), two waffle irons w/ normal and strawberry batter, oatmeal, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, various kinds of cereal + milk, doughnuts/pastries, and more. It was available right at the scheduled start time of 6:30am. Seemed to be fully restored to pre-COVID levels. The hotel has an hourly shuttle that runs to the Ballston-MU Metro station, which is otherwise an easy half-mile walk. The neighborhood is walkable and has many restaurants and bars that are just a few minutes from the hotel on foot. In a car, it's about 15 minutes from the hotel to the White House area. DC hotels tend expensive, and this seemed like a good deal for a solid stay in an accessible location. The few annoyances were minor and the benefits of this location were significant. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good price for a DC-area stay.

GGuest UserI stayed here over the weekend to catch my Giants against the Nationals. The hotel was very clean and nice. They have a great breakfast restaurant in the lobby. The staff was very friendly. Parking was fairly priced and easy. If i come back into town i will 100% stay here again.
GGuest UserThe price was decent but that was it! Pay a little extra and stay somewhere else! Smelly and dated. AC went out for a couple of nights and magically starting working again the morning of check out. Clock radio made static sounds at night and had to unplug it. Room was at the elevator and right across from the ice machine which was horrible with people using it at all hours! Noisy little kids in the hallway early in the morning. Parents need to teach their children that others are sleeping and to whisper. Housekeeping was also noisy in the hall early in the morning.
For hotels in Arlington, the average price on weekdays is PHP 21,297, the average price on weekends (Friday–Saturday) is PHP 16,514.
