Location is neutral, drove there. Good parking space along the road. Cleanliness can be better improved as there are still hair in the toilet. Service is good and owner assisted us with our luggage up to thr floor that we are staying. View was good too with the sea! Room has good amenities such as fridge, 2 wash basins, hangers, tables and chairs. 4 towels for 1 night too which is good as some places dont even give so many towels. Tooth paste is also provided. For showering, quite difficult to get the correct temperature, need some to get used to it. Not very sound proof. Room is big and the space is good for 2 people! Overall, good place to stay in especially if u drove to Donghae! Gave high rating as nothing much to complained about though it is not the best~

It was good because it was close to the sea and the sea view was great ~
The boss kindly guided me and cooked well.

The hotels location was great, walking distance to chuam beach, the bat cave and McDonald’s haha. The hotel was a little hard to find as the entrance is not on the Main Street but rather towards the back.
The hotel room was nice though a little dark. It would be nice if the shower was separated from the bath tub. There was cigarettes smoke coming from the bathroom and it was pretty strong. Woke up almost suffocated by cigarette smoke in the morning but besides that, it was a nice hotel.

IIuliiaI had a very pleasant stay at Oceancity view hotel. My room was quiet small but cozy and super clean which I loved! There was everything that I needed and more. I didn’t cook so couldn’t try the cute kitchen that even had a rice cooker not to mention the refrigerator, microwave, electric stove and kettle, utensils, pots and pans… Wow, I was really impressed.
The most important thing (for me) was the location. I wanted to explore Hanseom beach and a trail with pine trees along the cost. It took me only 5 minutes to get to the beach from the hotel. It’s just across the road. There’s also 7/11 with a terrific view of the sea. You can sip some tea or coffee watching the sunset. Honestly, it was too cold for me to drink outside. I’ll try to get there again in summer.
All in all, I enjoyed my stay:) 감사합니다 :) Thanks so much
P.s. The hotel staff at the reception speaks pretty good English

CCongratulationsDecent, very clean hotel. Has easy access to Emart, and the quiet Hanseom Beach nearby. Its also possible to walk via the beach walk between towns along the Gangwon coast.
The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. The only issue is there was no Iron available and no Netflix as we were told initially. The reason we were given ”no wire”.
괜찮은, 아주 깨끗한 호텔이에요. 이마트와 가까운 조용한 한섬해수욕장으로 쉽게 갈 수 있습니다. 강원 해안을 따라 마을 사이를 해변 산책로로 걷는 것도 가능합니다.
호텔 자체는 깨끗하고 편안합니다. 유일한 문제는 우리가 처음에 말했던 것처럼 아이언과 넷플릭스가 없었다는 것입니다. 우리에게 ”전선이 없다”는 이유로요.

PPeterCowen26 of us arrived (England Masters hockey squad) to play in the Asia Cup for a weeks stay in this fabulous hotel ... and we were joined by teams from across the globe, so the hotel was full of demanding guests all wanting the best service, tourist info, transport needs and more ... But this hotel and their staff not only met every need - they went the EXTRA MILE ! The MD, Jong-Yong Park led from the front in making himself available 24x7 ... not only providing the highest standards of service, cuisine and friendliness, but making our trip the best of any overseas tour to date. The hotel also hosted the end of tournament dinner for 350 in the weddings suite and they and the city of Donghae put on a spectacular event, with the best and widest food offering these demanding guests had ever experienced ... just superb ! If you are thinking of a trip to South Korea - make a point of including Donghae and this remarkable hotel .. you will not experience friendly, more caring service.

CchanhoPicasso came to Korea for the first time in a long time due to the coronavirus and came to visit his friends from the East Sea and stayed there. I planned to stay for 2 nights, but ended up staying 3 nights.
All facilities are clean and spotless. I don't know when I will come to Korea again, but this is a place I want to come again.

GGuest UserBecause the appearance is very old, so I'm worried about cleanliness or facilities, but it's very clean and the bedding is very good. There are sliding doors in the bathroom or weak water pressure Early in the morning, there was a fishy smell in the building or Elbe, whether the swimming pool was cleaned. I didn't do it in other times. :)
It was pretty good that there was a zoo behind and an outdoor pool!
The access to the sea leading to the air bridge was good.
Toothbrushes and toothpaste are not available.

AAnonymous UserMy younger brother and I were going on a trip to Mukho and the East Sea. We were looking for accommodations and a friend recommended it, so we stayed here for the first time.
It was convenient as there were many convenience stores and restaurants nearby, and it was nice that it wasn't far from the beach.
The room was nice and clean and spacious.
I intend to visit again next time I travel to the East Sea.

After staying for a long time, eating is more important than anything else, so you have to always find a good restaurant.
There are many amenities around E-Mart, and nearby.
Among them, I found a restaurant without delivery fee.
Seokchon Restaurant Dolshot Bibimbap and Bibimbap Red Sik 9000 won (each)
Hotpot stew (octopus beef (12,000 won and delivery fee is free.. Put it in a stone pot and the owner delivers it directly.. Tasty ...

I read so many good feedbacks at the Korean website... But now I have checked it again... These feedbacks were made one year ago.
So, I did not espect any unusual situations and only after having a dinner and taking a shower I removed the blanked... There was a hair and huge spots... So, at midnight I sent a photo and typed a message to the person, with whome I talked during my checking in... After that I called to the Hotel common number and the lady asked me 2 times which country citizen I was (all phone talkes were recordered) ... It was unusual ... I've heard her voice behind the door of my room, so... I was sure that the bed sheets will be changed or checked... But nobody came and I recieved only apologies by phone message for not being able to change my room. Also young man said that it was my hair on the bed and that he cleaned the room before my checking in... 😅
So, last night I had to sleep in my upper clothes😬.
Lacation is really good.
Really good that each number has its own parking place.
But for the next my visit I will choose another Hotel.
