Best Dormelletto Hotels

The question is, do you want it loud or do you want it loud? There's a street in front of the hotel, rails in the back and a huge parking space that is heavily used by the restaurants (around the hotel and also one in the ground floor of the restaurant). The traffic continues throughout the night and doesn't even stop on a Sunday morning. There's also live music from the restaurant on the ground floor. So for anybody who is looking for a quiet place to sleep, don't choose this location. The breakfast is an absolute minimal breakfast, the breakfast room is tiny (that's why you have to register for a breakfast shift). The pictures the hotel puts up look fabulous, the photographer must have been a genius. In reality this is a run-down place. Moreover, if you show any sign of unhappiness because of the whole situtation during check-in or check-out, then the hotel labels you as ”no-show” (still charging your credit card of course) to prevent you from putting a rating up on certain booking portals. That's probably also the reason why it is rated so high on several portals. It's fake and not worth the money!

Hotel staff is really kind and helpful in any situation. Thanks to the friendly atmosphere during our long stay we felt comfortable and relaxed. Location is really good for exploration of the lake. You can easily get to Arona, Stresa or even Milano. There's a big parking area and near to the train station with good connection to Milano and direction of Domodossola. There is a good restaurant in the hotel and you can find a lot of shops near.

location meravigliosa affacciata sul lago maggiore, ampi spazi immersi nella natura, interni curati nei minimi dettagli con pezzi d'arte molto originali. ho passato un weekend da sogno con molti amici che mi hanno raggiunto da più parti del mondo. Bruno grande padrone di casa molto ospitale, il suo staff molto gentile e disponibile. un'esperienza fantastica. grazie davvero!!

Une belle surprise ! L'hôtel de l'extérieur ne paie pas de mine mais les chambres sont très bien équipés et joliment décorés. Hôtel style motel comme aux USA, on se gare devant sa chambre ce qui est très pratique et secure quand on est en moto. Notre chambre était dans un style baroque moderne avec tout ce qu'il faut ! Mini bar bien rempli et inclus dans le tarif, baignoire balnéo, chaussons, petits produits de toilette, plateau de courtoisie. Et le petit déjeuner au top avec beaucoup de choix. Le personnel est sympa. Idéal pour visiter le lac majeur par sa situation. Nous reviendrons !

Just returned from a family holiday at Lago Maggiore. Was with a Maltese group. The Hotel is ideal, centrally located, easy to reach, being adjacent to a train station and the rooms are spacious. We had a corner room wherein we were with our kids. We had a separate room from the kids. Well light by natural sunshine, which we experienced during our stay. The rooms were kept clean and regular change if towels. The building needs an uplift, however still well kept. We had a half board package. The food was exquisite and abundant. We had 3 course meal daily, with water supply during the meal, at request. The staff are polite and their hospitality is abundant.

Pessimo. Prenotiamo un pernottamento e concordiamo l'orario di arrivo (tardo pomeriggio, 18.00), dopo una giornata insensa i bambini (1 e 3 anni) stanchissimi richiedono di cenare e riposarsi prestino. Purtroppo però al nostro arrivo alle 18.00 ci viene detto che la nostra sistemazione non è ancora pronta. Chiediamo indicativamente quanto dobbiamo aspettare e alla reception ci dicono 15/30 minuti, usciamo e intratteniamo i bambini in auto per una mezz'ora, riproviamo, saliamo e le pulizie non sono ancora finite. Chiediamo alle signore addette e ci dicono ancora una ventina di minuti. Facendo il prima possibile sono riuscite a darci l'appartamentino alle 19.15. All'interno troviamo una situazione mal organizzata, stoviglie, bicchieri, tazze tutte diverse e 3 di numero, noi una famiglia di 4 persone (dichiarata prenotando), ci siamo aggiustati per non dire altro... Si, anche il più piccolo mangia come tutti. Troviamo persino 3 sedie contate al tavolo della cucina.. Non uno Scottex o tovaglioli, non un detersivo anche piccolo e a disposizione di tutti gli ospiti per lavare i due piatti che si sporcano necessariamente per mangiare, nulla. Nulla nemmeno di confezionato per la colazione (solo n. 3 bustine di te/tisana). Sicuramente non torneremo, siamo rimasti delusi e il prezzo richiesto non ha alcun senso. Consigliamo caldamente di rivedere l'organizzazione generale, dall'interno dell'appartamento che pare essere un posto dove mettere cosa non si usa più e non fa per niente bella figura, all'organizzazione delle pulizie ai piani (assolutamente non riferito alle signore addette che molto gentilmente hanno capito le nostre necessità con i bambini) in quanto non è possibile che alle 18.00 passate non sia pulito un appartamento, pur avendo indicato l'orario di arrivo ed avendo confermato in mattinata telefonicamente. Forse se il numero di addetti alle pulizie non bastano è il caso di aumentarlo.

The breakfast is very good and can be accepted for food. The hotel is not very big, but it is only 8 minutes walk from Arona train station. When the hotel is out, it is the lakeside, going up the lake, the scenery is beautiful. You can also go to Switzerland by boat.
