Tried to check in at desk but couldn't. Someone came out and went to a cupboard and spoke to us with their backs to us so we couldn't hear them. Pleasant enough chap, but a silly place to have their computer located. Got in to room Friday 4pm. Came downstairs to meet family. No one behind bar. All serving at a wedding. Had to keep looking for staff to buy a drink. So many people waiting. So very expensive too. Had dinner in the Brasserie about 20 of us. The staff were amazingly helpful, although not enough of them so very slow. Got up and couldn't get out of our room. Called 0 to call reception. No response. ( This was the case every time. ) Thank goodness there was not a fire, apparently the phone had been disconnected to reception. I had to call a friend who went to reception. Someone came to room, got someone else, maintenance called, they came and basically kicked the door in. We were told to go to breakfast, they would locate us elsewhere and keep an eye on stuff in room. Breakfast was delicious, plenty to eat. Hubby went back to room while I met another member of family. When I got back to room we had not yet been moved. Waited another 20 mins. Hubby went down. Moved to room on 2nd floor. Said they would help us down when leaving Sunday. We then had a mad rush to get ready as parents of groom and got to wedding at Tudor Barn with minutes to spare. Checking out and, of course, no one was answering the phone in reception. A cleaner helped us down with our stuff. Upon checking out we were told no phone was connected to reception. So dangerous to lead people into believing help is at other end of phone when, in reality, this couldn't have been further from the truth. So glad they wedding was not held there. The staff did their best and were apologetic. Certainly would not recommend at all.

Staff are great every time my team and I stay here. Always very attentive and helpful to our large group. We stay regularly and they are always very accommodating. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The services next door are also very useful as there's lots of variety for food options.

Amazing food, great service especially shout out to Mark! Mark always smiles and checks if we need anything. His customer service is super Amazing. The decoration in Morocco is so beautiful. We had Thai food on this visit. The food was very tasty.

Stayed here for a few nights whilst on a course, the hotel is very comfortable and decorated well. The room had a good bed, good size TV and walk in shower. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were professional and friendly. The pool and spa looked amazing, only negative was the temperature of the steam room and sauna was so high it takes your face off, too uncomfortable to stay in for more than 1 minute,

From the moment we arrived everything about Cliveden was special. My friend and I stayed on an overnight spa break and enjoyed our stay here greatly. The house is stunning alongside gorgeous grounds and scenery. We had excellent customer service from all the staff we came into contact with. We ate at the Astor Grill and The Dining room and the food was superb in both restaurants. My only critique would be although the service was great, dinner felt a little rushed in the dining room. Had one of the best facials I’ve had from therapist Tania. All in all we wished had booked for longer but will be back. A very special place to stay.

We had a wonderful Ruby Wedding lunch party celebration for 70 people at Grovefield House Hotel on Sunday. Our guests were able to choose in advance from a three-course menu and commented on how delicious each of their choices were. The children were also able to preorder choices from their own three-course menu. Hotel Manager Ashley was helpful, efficient and highly professional throughout. We were grateful to him and to Lauren, Shelley, Chinwe, Adam, and all the lovely team on the day for their friendly, professional and generous hard work. They could not have done more for us. Guests with families also commented on how helpful they were with the children. The tables were laid out beautifully and we loved the pretty flowers and candles added by florist Debby Connell. Thank you all so much for a fantastic and memorable day, we couldn’t have enjoyed it more. We look forward to seeing you again before long and enjoying more of the exciting new things on offer at Grovefield!

First time visit. Stayed for a visit to Wembley. Lovely hotel. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. If you are going to Wembley it is a short 10/15 mins walk to the station. Frequent trains then to Wembley which is about 15 mins away. Close to the shops/bars/eating places in Gerard’s Cross itself. Free electric car charging point for 4 EV’s was a massive bonus. Thanks and we will be back.
