The Beatles Story Exhibition/Museum
西西凉羊倌Nice exhibition, I used to know only the song, now I know the story. Chinese introduction, very good, I don't know many details, I found the answer here, it is worth going to the bar again, and then comparing it with here, it is very interesting.
Liverpool Guild of Students
小小思文Liverpool University Town is a very long castle building, the design of the university town is very simple, here can see quite a lot of things oh, Liverpool is also a very important building, the whole structure of the university town is very eye-catching. [View] The scenery is very special [Fun] Very interesting
Liverpool Cathedral
YYushanshanThis church looks ordinary from the outside, but you will be amazed once you enter. It feels very beautiful as soon as you enter. It is super big inside. It is recommended to come here on Sundays. There will be a choir every Sunday. You can pray with the locals and feel the atmosphere.
World Museum
1138***76I didn't know much about this museum at first, but my son insisted on going. I took a taxi in the rain and it was really rewarding. The special exhibition of the return of the gods inside is all cultural relics from the ancient Roman era. It is a group of statues from Zeus in ancient Greece. You can see the complete body of Venus and the heroic Athena. The background music is that people in ancient Rome held banquets and created a god for this purpose. There is a painting from Rubens' studio that is very funny. You can take a closer look. The ancient Egyptian pavilion of the museum made my son praise it. Compared with the exhibition of the British Museum, the layout here is reasonable, the description is clear, and the display is clear! In the eyes of an outsider like me, it's not crowded with people in the British Museum anyway, and I can't see anything. I came to Liverpool and I knew that the research on ancient Egyptian civilization here is not inferior to the British Museum! Friends who are interested can come and take a good look. The World Museum is indeed worthy of its name. It has a cultural relic exhibition hall from all over the world. It's the first time I've seen anything related to Eskimos! From clothes to supplies, it's an eye-opener. There are also Mayan and Indian ones. You can see them even if you don't go to America. The African part is arranged according to countries and regions, and the exhibits are very rich. There are also reflections on the colonization of Africa in the past, which reflects the conscience of cultural people. The aquarium is very fun. Some of them are local characteristics of Liverpool, which are different from the ones we are familiar with in the Pacific Ocean. This museum is a good place to bring children. Many children are playing in it. There is a large space inside, and you don't have to worry about bumping into them. The staff are very helpful. When we left, we called Uber. Because parking was not allowed at the entrance of the museum and it was raining heavily outside, we asked the staff about the location of the nearby roads. He specially took out a nearby map for us and introduced the situation in detail. Thank you. In fact, St. John's Garden is next to the museum, but it was a pity that it rained heavily and we didn't have a chance to take a good walk. Going further, you can see the Shankly Hotel. My son said that this should be a must-check-in place for Liverpool fans.

Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral
SSheda11Lovely colours on the stained glass in the sunshine . Nice service in the crypt. Sadly the shop was closed .
Maritime Museum
SSheda11I came to the museum mainly for the Titanic exhibition as I find Titanic fascinating - it did not disappoint! Very informative and follows the journey of the ship being built, the voyage, people on board, the events as they unfurled, the aftermath and items on show since finding the wreckage. I loved reading the stories about individual people and families on board (even brought a tear to my, especially the letter a child had written for her father) and reading the telegrams sent and received by Carpathia.
St George's Hall
SSheda11The hall is closed for renovations. This is not explained to bookers of the Whisperer tour on which as at March only comprises the cells and courts, with an overloud background commentary which often drowns out the guide.
