Best Bath Hotels

Central location helps to overcome the cramped feeling staying in the annexe. The car was parked at the other end of town and drop off was difficult to say the least but it is what it is. I had no reason whatsoever to check out the main building reception, breakfast area perhaps a bar and lounge area too because nothing pointed me there! So generally, it was a room in a loft space built to an ”average” measure. I never like shower cubicles where I tend to bang elbows and worry about breaking something when I drop the soap. Breakfast price was horrendous so no inclination to walk in on the hop to check it out for the 2 nights stayed. I felt detached, cramped and in a bed-sit like accommodation. It is what it is.

Fantastic location, great hotel with friendly helpful staff. Room was clean and tidy with a beautiful view. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had in a long time, lovely bright restaurant with really friendly staff. We will absolutely be back.

Excellent location, right in the centre. Very clean and modern hotel, lovely sitting area in the lobby. Room was cosy and modern with a big TV. Bed was comfortable but pillows were too soft. Shower was powerful. Breakfast was adequate. We parked at the nearby car park that was £20.

Our weekend at Dukes Bath Hotel in Bath was a delightful mix of charm, comfort, and an unexpected leg workout. We arrived early and parked at the sister hotel, The Bird Bath, just a three-minute stroll away very convenient, though I did briefly wonder if we were being sent on a small pre-check-in pilgrimage. On arrival at Dukes, we were warmly greeted by an exceptionally cheerful lady who checked us in so efficiently that we almost felt like VIPs. Then came the ascent. Our room was on the top floor just 71 steps up. Not that we were counting. (We absolutely were...) By the time we reached the top, we felt we’d earned a well-deserved cup of tea, a biscuit, and possibly a lie down. But it was worth it! The room was a cosy double, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The hotel’s location is ideal, just a short walk from the centre of Bath, making it perfect for exploring (and for finding a good pub to rest our slightly weary legs). Would we stay again? Absolutely. Would we request a lower floor? Quite possibly. Would we recommend it? Without hesitation just be sure to limber up first!

Easy to drive by car, very close to the city, 20 minutes walk, very convenient to buy food, very quiet, good heating, small room, small bathroom, small shower, small bed.

The hotel has a beautiful environment and the overall decoration is very beautiful. The room was big and very clean. Guests can park for free, which is the best choice for self-driving tours. The service is also very good.

The hotel is beautiful and the stay is comfortable. Good hardware facilities, large rooms, good location, five minutes walk from the main attraction circular square and crescent moon building. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

It's clean, warm, and nice. It's an hour's walk from Bath Station, but the walking path is nice. The bedding is clean, the water comes out well, and there's no separate shampoo, so I use it as shower gel, but it doesn't come out well from the place attached to the bathroom, and the shampoo isn't good. It was a small room, but I was satisfied.
