This is our second visit to Sitges and to this hotel, and we have no doubt that we will return again! The hotel location is perfect if you want to stay in a quieter area of Sitges, but want proximity to the beach. The beach is literally a 1 minute walk from the hotel, and it is a lovely small and sheltered beach which wasn't too busy when we visited (early October and early June). Further into Sitges the beaches seem to be busier. The walk to Sitges is about 20-25 minutes along the promenade. We walked it day and night (quite late) and always felt very safe. There is also a tourist train that picks up at a stop outside the hotel every 30 minutes, although this seemed to have a reduced frequency in October. It's 2.50e for a ticket. We stayed in the Superior studio apartment on both visits, first time having a side view of the sea and adjacent golf course. This side got the sun in the evening. Second time we were above the hotel entrance directly looking on the seafront, and this got the sun in the morning. The apartments are very spacious and we found them very well maintained and clean. There is a coffee machine (a few pods are provided but you can buy more in the supermarket which is underneath the hotel), kettle, stove top, microwave, washing machine, iron, mop, clothes horse, all kitchen and dining equipment, and cleaning equipment. The balcony was very spacious, plenty of space if you need to dry clothes. We dined in the Vento restaurant a few times, eating out on the terrace overlooking the sea. The menu has burgers, steaks, etc. and we enjoyed our meal. It is a bit more expensive than some of the other restaurants we dined at in Sitges, but for convenience and the view it was worth it. There are a few other restaurants onsite, however we did not try these. The supermarket downstairs has all you need, including fresh pastries and bread, fruit and veg, magazines, wine, freezer and fridge foods, etc. The outdoor pool area was very clean and is quite the sun trap early in the day. We didn't try the indoor pool or spa facilities so cannot comment on these. The hotel also provides free bicycles if you fancy a cycle into Sitges on the promenade. Finally, the staff we encountered were all lovely, friendly and helpful to us, providing instructions on how to get to certain places and assisting with booking a car. We are already looking forward to our next visit here!
Located on the stunning seaside promenade of Sitges, you cannot find a better property on the strip than this one. Stunning views of the glittering Mediterranean sea from the room and balcony, easy access to all key points of interest, and a charming boutique feel. Couldn't have asked for more in this coastal retreat. LOCATION: Located in the center of the promenade, a stone’s throw away from the waves. DINE + DRINK: Nice lobby-level bar restaurant with a sweet terrace looking into the seafront. ROOM: We stayed in Room 524, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Mindblowing views of the Sea and the glittering water from the Balcony and the room; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage. The Terrac/Balcony was a super cool highlight of the room; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: OK cosmetics. FACILITIES: Compact Gym with a basic range of weights and Cardio machines, good enough for a decent workout. They also have a pool on site. SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. Special thanks to ESTHER from Front office for enhancing our stay. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free LOW-SPEED Wi-Fi(6 Mbps!) that works well all over the property. Big Plasma TV screen dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages
We stayed in a ‘Safari Lodge’ November 2023, and enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfy and clean and the ‘lodge’ (more tent with a double bed in it) felt very new. It also comes with a heater which is great for the cold nights. However the room was extremely dark at night, as it only has 2 small lamps and 1 exterior, making it hard to see during night time. The Only downsides of the site itself is it can be a bit noisy from planes/trains passing throughout the night. As well as this, there was several bright lights which shine into the tents, making it quite light inside. The bathrooms + showers were exceptionally clean however. I wouldn’t recommend staying here outside of the peak summer season, as when we arrived at 4pm on a Tuesday we found everything on the site was shut, (including the restaurant + shop). The pools were advertised as shut, but we weren’t made aware of this before we arrived, however they did open up on some other days for very limited hours. The site is advertised as a 15 minute walk from the beach, however this is more like a 45 minute walk which leads to a small pebble beach, not the main Sitges beach as you’d expect. I don’t recommend this walk in the night as it is completely pitch black and passes through fields + underpasses. Another thing to bear in mind is that it’s a good location for Sitges, but if you plan on travelling to Barcelona via public transport, your only option is a bus which costs €4.50 each way and runs 1-2 times an hour. Walking from the accommodation into Sitges or anywhere else is impossible, as it’s located off of one of the highways which doesn’t have any pavements. All together though, the site was extremely clean, had helpful and friendly security + staff, and was great value for the price we payed. Just a shame about the public transport, the bright lights, and access to/from the site. A bonus is there is a large population of cats who are very friendly :)

Excellent hotel for hospitality, services, location, 5 minutes from a metro stop. The Junior's single room, with TV, desk, wardrobe and bathroom with tub, is all comfortable, easy and clean. Excellent daily cleaning, the hall is spacious, fresh and with comfortable sofas. Abundant breakfast. The terrace has a beautiful view with swimming pool and jacuzzi.
The positives? The pool was lovely, spacious and clean with lots of free loungers. Also given its location, as others have noted, it is nice and quiet so you do get a peaceful night. The marina ***** is full of beautiful restaurants so it's in a great location, and the views from the room (corner wraparound windows) were stunning. However... For context, we booked here for only 2 nights before moving to our regular apartment nearby for the rest of the trip. And I honestly don't know if we would have managed to stay any longer. We booked a double room on a room-only basis, so we weren't expecting a lounge or kitchen. But we were expecting a bathroom: instead, the shower, basin and toilet were in the corner of the room with only an open wardrobe to separate it from the main room. I have seen the shower-in-room trend before, which is baffling and unnecessary enough, but in those instances the toilet at least had walls and a door. When I arose for my morning ablutions my husband was able to watch me from the bed (thankfully he was decent enough to take himself to the balcony for the duration). At least it wasn't our first holiday together, or the awkwardness may have been a little much. And whilst the view was stunning, I don't need to be looking onto the marina while I am on the loo (or for those outside to see me), so the curtains remained closed for much of our visit. Did it do the job for a couple of nights? Certainly. Would I return? Most likely not.
The hotel is huge... So it takes me quite a while walking to reception, but I do love the restaurant and the bar. And room service there was excellent. It would be perfect if the Wi-Fi signals could be better. Overall I would love to have another stay in this hotel.
I really enjoyed my stay here and it really is in a great location and very close to the beach. The staff on reception were friendly and the room was spotlessly clean. Two litres of water in the fridge was a nice touch as was the little bag that contained washing up liquid and sponge. We had the room that had two bedrooms. The first bedroom is a decent size with large wardrobes containing a safe. The second had no windows and was very small with a single bed with a pull out second bed underneath. With the second bed pulled out there was no additional space in there. All rooms had an AC units so none were stuffy. Kitchen had all plates and cutlery if you wanted to stay in and cook (we didn’t) and the bathroom was spacious but lacked hooks to hang up your bathtowel after use. The pools were cold, it was May, and there are only limited sunbeds. Would definitely stay again
This is a great hotel and is situated close to the beach and a short walk to restaurants and bars. Rooms are snug but very comfortable. It was great to have a private patio area - ideal for people who like to tan. The breakfast was very good and there was a great range of dishes to choose from. The pool area is conveniently located next to the restaurant and there are ample loungers and chairs to relax on. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to spend some time in Sitges.
We loved our stay here the room is a tiny bit dated but saying that it has everything you need.the balcony facing the sea was just lovely.Sitges itself was fantastic and we got the train twice to barcelona 40 mins on the train. Even though the hotel balcony is on the front we slept well there was very little noise.Just a lovely hotel and we will be back to stay at this hotel.
Very good trip and the hotel is very comfortable! Especially the breakfast is very delicious ~

Outstanding
The vibe is exactly how a holiday should feel. From the moment we stepped in the hotel staff wanted to make us feel welcome and special. They are incredibly friendly and professional; I have never experienced such genuinely nice hotel staff who seemed to enjoy making every part of our stay the best it could be. Above & beyond! Rooms & communal areas are modern & spacious. Perfect location away from the hubbub. A 10-min walk to beach & restaurants. Hotel puts on free shuttle bus every 20 mins if you’re feeling lazy or too hot to walk! Great food all day, and breakfast is an outstanding standard. The pool areas are ideal; sunbeds always available, staff on hand to cater to every need. It may be pricey but you get what you pay for. We will be back, for sure.
FFongYou won't go wrong if you choose this place.
Excellent receptionist who can speak in fluent English to guide you.
The welcoming drinks and the free flow coffee in the lobby is really amazing.
Apart from that, you can claim a free wine in another affliated hotel which allows you to have one of the best view of Sitges beach.
Rooms are clean and comfortable.
Another highlight is the breakfast, it's one of the best with various variety.
Highly recommended.
GGuest UserWhat a fantastic little hotel in a great location only a few minutes from the beach and bars/restaurants. Our room was spacious and clean. Beds and pillows are really comfortable. Fridge and kettle in the room so we could have a coffee on the balcony. Great bathroom and powerful shower. Silvano was so helpful. Our flight was delayed which meant we didn’t arrive until late but it wasn’t a problem - Silvano made sure we could check in easily. Our first time to Sitges and we will definitely be back and would book The Alexandra again without hesitation.
The hotel is one of the best sites being across a walkway to San Sebastian beach. The staff, all multilingual, were all amazing especially as they were so patient with me trying to learn but mangling the language. Compimentary towels and sunshades are included. We had a first floor room overlooking the pool and was perfect. The room was well cleaned daily and the thermostat on the air con worked perfectly. The shower head was a little awry and leaked but still did it's job. The pool is private and, shall we say, refreshing! We had breakfast included and found the choice good with hot and cold choices with plenty of cereals, fruit, meats, cheeses and breads. The restaurant, although accessed from the hotel, is independant and owned and run by Krista and Chris. Great people with excellent staff we went there for several lunches as well - they are happy to deliver drinks and food to the pool.
GGuest UserHotel Sitges is a quirky hotel. The foyer is decorated in a tasteful manner.
The rooms are modern, clean and the beds are very comfortable. The a/c is amazing and kept us cool during the hot days and nights.
We didn’t eat at the hotel for breakfast but the buffet looked well stocked and enough choice to satisfy most needs.
I would like to thank Rosa on Reception for being very helpful when hiring e-bikes. She went out of her way to help. She was also chatty and friendly.
The hotel is out of town but close to one of the many beaches. We did not mind the walk to local restaurants and bars.
We would stay at the Hotel Sitges again. Thank you.
JJamesthekatClose to the old town. 10mins walk from the train station (for airport and Barcelona trains). This stylish hotel has all the amenities you need - including a lovely spa (€15 day pass). Very helpful staff. Looking forward to coming back!
GGuest UserThere was no unfortunate point in the location and facilities. However, I was racist from the staff, and the start of my trip was very unpleasant. I said there was a problem with the room we booked, and I guided our couple to an old and cramped room in the building next to the hotel, not the hotel. I saw the room and asked the staff to guide me back to the room, but there was only one room left, and even the room was fixing the tap of the washbasin, and I kept trying not to give the hotel room. Nevertheless, I asked him to wait until we fixed it, and then he guided us to the hotel that there was one room left. The facilities and cleanliness of the room were good, but the behavior of the staff made the image of the whole hotel the worst.
The staff should not forget that racism is a great crime.
GGuest UserThis is a great hotel. It extremely good value. Though the room was small - as a single traveler who was only here for one night it worked well. If you are planning on chilling in your room this may not be the best hotel - but it’s very central and the staff are friendly. The welcome drink at a nearby hotel was a nice touch. Clean and good value.
GGuest UserThe hotel is right in the centre of Sitges so perfectly placed for all the great bars and restaurants. The rooms are small but pretty, the breakfast is plentiful and you can eat as much as you like. The staff are really friendly and helpful and I particularly recommend Yadiel who works in the pool bar. Yadiel is Cuban and makes perfect mojitos! There is a downside - the pool is much smaller than it looks in the hotel's website photos and it is in shade for much of the day (in August). There are sunbeds but not enough for all the guests so every morning was quite stressful hanging around waiting for 10am when the pool opened, when everybody ran for a sunbed!
GGuest UserThis complex is badly managed and I am writing this as a warning to other potential guests. The positive is that the apartments have been renovated so appear great in the photos. Unfortunately that is where it ends. On arrival the floors were filthy and we had to ask for them to be cleaned. Only a table on the balcony so chairs from inside had to be used. It is advertised as air conditioned which technically is correct, however it is set at the lowest temp of 18 and has little power so the apartment was too hot for us. We complained and maintenance was sent (after 2 calls) but he couldn’t change it. The block had no hot water for 3 days but no update or explanation was given. The garden and pool area was not kept clean or tidy and I reported dirty towels and filled bins 3 times to Reception which had been left for 4 days. Gardeners came to cut the grass (not remove litter or empty bins) at 11am on 2 occasions within our week and asked us to move our beds, the leaf blower and mower were unbearably loud and guests had to endure this for 2 hours. I asked Reception why it wasn’t done earlier in the day but they said that it was a private company who can turn up at any time. Apartments only get cleaned every 7 days and no clean towels provided. . As other reviews have explained, keys need collecting from their sister hotel, a long walk or taxi ride away. As there is no Reception or any staff on site this complex feels unloved and forgotten . I rarely write reviews but felt compelled on this occasion. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone. We feel so disappointed with our stay and it has ruined our holiday.
