GGuest UserWe had a most lovely time in Blanes especially staying at this fabulous hotel! Rooms are amazing , staff delightful , location near shops and beach . Couldn’t be better, September is a great time to visit very few tourists and mostly Spanish voices around us . Casa Indiana rooms are decorated beautifully with every touch you can imagine Breakfast excellent ! A must see are the botanical gardens, set high above the beautiful azure sea. We will be back ! Thank you maria
WWardGreat hotel, very nice pool, staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner was brilliant and very reasonable, we ate there two out of four nights. Lots on the menu, even whole monkfish tail. Massive steaks too. Breakfast was so-so but standard pricing.
The location is great if you’re mobile but the bus stop is just across the road so you can get into town easily either way (about a 20 minute walk, less than ten minutes on the bus).
If you’re looking to visit the beaches, be prepared for a journey as they are very far away and hard to navigate via public transport. Taxis are expensive. The hotel staff printed the timetables off for us because they wouldn’t show on Google Map. Highly recommended though. We went snorkelling and sea kayaking and saw octopus and explored caves.
Only negative to say about the hotel is that they charge for the hot tub and it’s €7 per person. Felt like it should be included but maybe you get a specific amount of slots based on your length of stay? Didn’t seem like anyone was booking it and I imagine it’s because most people feel it should be included.
GGuest UserWe spent a weekend at Aiguablava Parador in Begur. We were a party of four people. The good points were the location, the rooms (comfortable beds, fabulous sea view, spacious rooms, nice amenities) the hotel is very spacious and tastefully decorated. The swimming pool, at the top end of the cliff, although not massive, is large enough and with fantastic views of the area. A very privileged position with views of Aiguablava cove and a private path down to the cove. Breakfast was varied and good quality in general and served in the breakfast room with gorgeous views. Freshly squeezed fruit juice and good quality coffee. The negatives were the check in experience, too long and with an inexperienced receptionist who lacked aptitude in the treatment of experienced travelers/customers and couldn’t get my name right. There was a general lack of coordination between departments (reception and restaurant) our evening meal reservation was not communicated to the restaurant either of the two days and my name was wrong in all departments from beginning to end even though the receptionist had access to my ID card and the online booking form. The evening meals were sub standard. Generally unpleasant food, tasteless fish and a dirty lukewarm brown sauce, packet custard-based deserts. Brick sized chunks of melon as fruit salad. Some dishes were inedible. A very limited wine list and very expensive wines. The service in the restaurant varied from pleasant to inappropriate with some comments from waiting staff demonstrating their inexperience and unsuitability to work in a hotel of this category, even though they were pleasant and kind at all times. On a final note, I requested by telephone if it would be possible to have some candles on a desert on our final evening as we were celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday. The receptionist said it would be no problem but it was not communicated to the restaurant and forgotten. As there had been so many hiccups with communication in general I didn’t bother to even try to remind them.
DDhaval GanatraHotel was super amazing. Loved the amenities and staff was really helpful. Best part was the breakfast spread. Both pools were great as well. The construction seems very new as all the furniture in room were in top condition. I felt the only downside during our trip was the in-house disco event for our day of visit. It was quite dull( but that’s something specific to the performer, I guess). Overall will definitely recommend staying here for the amazing experience.
GGuest UserEveryone was super nice at the hotel. The breakfast was very good, but they should change a bit since it gets boring to eat the same thing every day. Don't eat at the terrace it's super expensive and the food is not good at all. The hotel is located in a very nice area, but the hotel rooms are a bit expensive for what it is.
MMarijkeWe have been staying here for years as a stopover to our holiday address. Everything is neat and tidy and the breakfast is also sufficient. There is a large shopping centre nearby where you can go after a long drive and want to relax. Shopping or for example a bite to eat.
GGuest UserDo read your email from the hotel explaining about arriving purists receptionists limited times! Otherwise you’ll Not be able to access the hotel when you get there. Once in, it’s lovely. Small but perfectly formed. Friendly staff, really good domestic services- they work hard and it’s spotlessly clean. Very comfy beds and pillows, lovely fluffy towels. Handy features like hot drinks, water, access to a microwave, and free lockers to store your luggage are great. Some traffic noise at times. Easy 10 minute walk from the old Town, and a bit less from The station.
GGuest UserThis is a lovely small hotel located centrally in Tossa De Mar within a few yards of the bus station and shops bars and restaurants. I stayed for 4 nights and was very impressed with the overall experience. The hotel is very clean and modern with lovely rooms. I only paid around £40 per night which included a free breakfast that was superb with plenty of choice. You are only around a 10 minute flat walk to the sea front and old Town. Overall I thoroughly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a real value for money stay
AAL NThe hotel is in a very good position on the promenade, with the beach in front and the shopping streets behind. Generally, the reception staff were courteous and helpful. We arrived late, just after breakfast had finished. This was the fault of the coach company. We asked if we could take lunch instead and were refused it. The double room is small and dark, overlooking an alleyway. Cleanliness was generally acceptable. The roof top pool and jacuzzi are small, and space is limited to sit on the provided loungers. We found the dinner food menus very disappointing. It was served buffet style and was constantly luke warm, unless you queued for the one hot plate chef delivery. There was an attempt at diversity, but quality of main course is just average. There was an expectation of proper Spanish cuisine, befitting a four star status, which didnt materialise. We found the restaurant staff unfriendly and frankly rude at times. Not all guests drink alchohol, and we were made to feel uncomfortable for not ordering any. There was no provision for teas and coffees at dinner. This was certainly not the 'four star' luxury experience paid for. The hotel management would do well to look at the dinner provision for quality improvements, and to consider a more flexible and considerate approach to its diverse customer needs.
GGoPlaces21350221701Great hotel for a short stay/ stopover. Easy to find clean well maintained, good breakfast friendly staff many nearby restraunts. Ourvroom overlooked the shopping complex and we at first thought that itight be noisy but as long as we were there it wasn't, and thst was a Friday night!. Handy for the motorway.
